George W. Bush: Russia
meddled in 2016 U.S. election

ABU DHABI, United Arab Emirates – Former President George W. Bush says “there’s pretty clear evidence that the Russians meddled” in the 2016 U.S. president election. Bush made the comments in a talk in Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates. Bush also said that Russian President Vladimir Putin “is zero-sum. He can’t think, ‘How can we both win?’ He only thinks, ‘How do I win, you lose?´” Bush also said that the United States needs to reform its immigration law. While not directly naming President Donald Trump, it appeared Bush was targeting him in his comments. Bush

A once respected President becomes a bigger and bigger disappointment with every passing day.

He owns the immigration debacle as much as Obama does. Then again, the CoC and globalists owned him. Screw the American people.

#5 - so true.

Meanwhile, George NEVER said anything about Obama for eight years.

What happened to not speaking about a sitting President??

Moreover, anyone else notice how he skipped around the REAL news of Obama/Clinton/Holder/Comey, etc????

I´ve always thought the Bushes liked the Clintons a bit too much. He is trying to cover her b__t in some way by trying to implement Pres. Trump. Wonder how much he got to make that speech! Money talks. Follow it!

George W. is becoming a tedious fool when he insinuates his displeasure with this President but kept his mouth firmly closed when Obama was wreaking havoc on this country. Frankly, I don’t care what he says about anything. He has become a huge disappointment because he let the media roll him and gave them more power than he should have. They certainly gained confidence during his presidency. Had he challenged them or even defended himself, I don’t believe they would be quite the rapacious jackals they have become.

It´s obvious that the dead have ´meddled´ in the election... that there were people double voting... that the elderly gave their votes to ´helpers´...

...and, of course, the illegals/non-citizens.

Of all of these, you only have a concern about Russian influence?

When the Democrats and the media pounded George Bush for eight years with no defense or pushback from him, it left us conservatives perplexed and demoralized. Now, as Bush has denigrated Trump throughout the campaign season and his presidency while not uttering an unkind word about Obama throughout his 8 years, we´re seeing how entangled in the swamp the Bush family is, ending with Low Energy Jeb! Bush.

No more Kennedy´s, no more Clinton´s, and no more Bushes!

Hey George - not one word of criticism of Obama or the his policies or the USA during Obama´s reign. Heck, if you travelled overseas during those years, you certainly didn´t criticize Obama or the US. But now, while Trump is President - you can´t keep your mouth shut; her or overseas. A disgrace. The salvaged official portrait of you that I had has since been flung into the trash can.

Any faith I had in the Bush cabal went out the day I heard the words "new world order." I had hoped GW would be an American president but alas that wasn´t so.

Bush need not position such statements to target Trump, over half the nation and the vast majority of media will leap to the conclusion that a former POTUS is endorsing the notion that Trump colluded with Russia to steal the election. The lack of clearly stating he meant no such thing, given the political climate, means he fully intended to add fuel to the fire that is attempting to burn down a presidency. Its sedition and he´s participating. I, appalled; one of the worst acts of any former POTUS. Take your resistance and stuff it.

Selling our national interests, Uranium, missile technology for personal gain is no big deal as long as one of the swamp creatures does it. Trump spits on the sidewalk and its a constitutional crisis.

God save us and MAGA.

Who gave him that info? What investigative agency did he use to get it? What information does he have, specifically to prove his point? If I were a Senate Committee Chairperson, I would immediately invite the ex-President to come forward before the committee and tell us the details that support his remark!

It is blatantly stupid statements like that that hurt a nation. And that horse´s A55 does it in a foreign country filled with Billionaires who hate our country! But, then again, G.W. Bush is a blatantly stupid man.

George was a good man very early in his Presidency, the right person at the right time after 9-11. But overall he was a terrible President with no ability to defend American principles or fight back against the hard left and the enemedia. And let’s be honest, the Bush family (who are my distant cousins) are a founding component of The Swamp.

History shows that the Bush clan are very liberal Republicans who disguised themselves as being “compassionate conservatives”. During his time in office as the liberal and progressive Democrats trashed his character, his personal and professional reputations, and his policies, G.W. Bush remained silent thus allowing his political enemies to essentially kick him into the gutter without Bush offering any effective defense. That was a big part of the political pathway that allowed the liberal and progressive Democrats to successfully get he most liberal and socialist President in histor, Barack Obama, to be elected. After that happened G.W. Bush again remained silent as Obama went around blaming his for all of the nation’s ills.

Now G.W. Bush shows up in a Middle East country adversely commenting on President Bush and putting down the US immigration laws, the non-enforcement of which during the Bush Administration to supply an unlimited supply of cheap foreign labor for hire by US Chamber of Commerce members exasperated the illegal alien situation. Clearly as far as he immigration laws were concerned G.W. Bush and his ineffective immigration enforcement policies were a big part of the problem and encouraged more mass uncontrolled illegal immigration. Give us a break!

We need more businessmen and women like Trump and less "professional" politicians like the Clinton´s, Bushes and Obama´s. There is a new day coming in politics if we dare to make it happen. These politicians get lifetime jobs, pensions, health care and benefits for their families for WHAT? The people always get screwed with them.

If GWB´s aim is to compete with Jimmy Carter and Barack Obama, he is getting closer to his goal.

At the time he attacked Saddam, I supported him with the belief that he was going to finish the job. Wrong assumption. The only thing Saddam was doing wrong was killing Iraqis and Iranians, a far better situation than killing Americans and spawning ISIS. Yes, his "surge" was a good move but it followed the mistake of not having enough troops there for years.

Go home and cut some brush on the ranch, George, or grow some nads and give that speech in Washington instead of in front of the muslim world. I have some eggs and tomatoes with your name all over them.

"Meddled" could mean anything from a post on a Fakebook page to actually accessing voter machines.

IMO, these globalists who are desperate to smear Trump want to take real evidence of exceedingly minor and mostly irrelevant stuff like Fakebook posts and try to confuse/convince people that what they really mean is that Trump helped the Russians flip votes inside a voting machine which did NOT happen

When these guys go so totally overboard to oppose Trump, and while I see all the wonderful, right, proper, GOOD things that Trump is doing to help our country, I move them into my "never again be fooled by these liars" category. A whole lot of people that I used to be fooled into thinking were conservatives are now in that box.

W completes the circle and shows us exactly how big a Deep Stater he is. There must be some dangling thread that connects him to a globalist in a way that he doesn´t want revealed. To cover his behind and his entire globalist loving family, he chips away at President Trump. The only interesting part of this anti Americanism is how difficult it might be for the progressives to embrace their new ally after hating him for their entire lives.

I read somewhere the opinion that Russia spends more cash, time, and energy on sowing disinformation than on "spying," per se. It´s easier, effective, and less expensive than actual espionage.

If I had a say in this, there’d be only two countries taking part in Winter Olympics 2018 – the United States versus Russia. We don’t need the rest. Like it was when we beat them in hockey, 1980. As you can see, there are too many countries around the world…too many, absolutely, around Pyeonchang, which is in South Korea. Was that really the best choice? Never mind. That’s another topic. But I must say this – my Uncle Marv did return (wounded) from the war there; but 33,652 other Americans did not. It’s called “The Forgotten War.” I’ll bet it is not forgotten

President Donald Trump and and House Speaker Paul Ryan were seen watching over a wedding at the Mar-a-Lago on Sunday. Trump was seen pointing during the wedding that featured a giant archway with white feathers and red accents. Women in simple yet elegant gold dresses stood underneath the archway in anticipation for the bride. The two were meeting Sunday afternoon to discuss Trump´s legislative agenda and potentially talk about immigration. Ryan and Trump have been working more closely with each other, as of late. The House Speaker rallied behind the Trump-Nunes position, justifying it on civil liberties ground. It has been a busy weekend for

After Netanyahu – then what? He survived the eight inglorious years of Obama – the most anti-Israel president since Jimmy Carter. For that alone, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu deserves a medal…even a cigar. Netanyahu went toe to toe against Obama, and from the fire emerged unscathed. Better yet, during all that time, while Obama schemed behind his back, Netanyahu kept Israel in one piece. Even better, he kept Israel at peace – relatively so considering that Israel faces enemies from within and from all sides. So… why the rejoicing when the leader’s pain hurts the entire nation? But there is no figuring Leftists. We don’t know

Hillary Clinton´s campaign chairman John Podesta – whose emails were hacked and leaked during the 2016 campaign – called out President Trump Sunday for not doing more to punish the Russians for their interference or prep the nation for when the Kremlin tries to do it again. ´If this is information warfare, then I think he´s the first draft-dodger in the war,´ Podesta claimed of Trump on Face the Nation. Asked about Trump´s motivations, Podesta said that Trump´s psyche is ´complicated,´ but added that ´he certainly can´t accept that this activity may have helped him, and I think he just constantly tries

The FBI failed to investigate warnings about the Florida school shooter, but never mind that. And the National Rifle Association has no control over school shootings, but never mind that, either. Two newly minted gun control activists from Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida are defending the FBI, while demanding that NRA "child murderers" dismantle and disband. And they have declined an invitation to discuss their concerns with President Donald Trump, whom they call "disgusting."

How dirty is San Francisco? An NBC Bay Area Investigation reveals a dangerous mix of drug needles, garbage, and feces throughout downtown San Francisco. The Investigative Unit surveyed 153 blocks of the city – the more than 20-mile stretch includes popular tourist spots like Union Square and major hotel chains. The area – bordered by Van Ness Avenue, Market Street, Post Street and Grant Avenue – is also home to City Hall, schools, playgrounds, and a police station. As the Investigative Unit photographed nearly a dozen hypodermic needles scattered across one block, a group of preschool students happened to walk by

Students are in the middle of a lie-in protest outside the White House over gun laws just days after 17 people were killed in the Florida high school shooting massacre. Groups of students from Washington DC staged the protest on Monday on a road leading to the White House. They took turns lying on the road for three minutes - the same amount of time 19-year-old Nikolas Cruz went on a firing spree at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School last week. Other students stood by holding signs that read ´Am I next?´ and ´Is Congress or the NRA making our

And now, ladies and gentlemen, for your viewing pleasure, the first rendition of the national anthem at a major sporting event that would be more appropriate for some steamy scene from a movie than honoring those who have fought for the United States of America. Here is Fergie singing the anthem at the NBA All-Star Game on Sunday. Viewer discretion advised: (Video) Reaction varied from hilarity at Fergie’s screeching to jokes about how she was attempting to make Francis Scott Key into a composer of a song more appropriate for the bedroom to simple outrage that Fergie would dishonor the

An activist group has launched a voter registration effort aimed at black voters at screenings of the “Black Panther” movie nationwide. Members of the Electoral Justice Project, an offshoot of the Movement for Black Lives, are seeking to motivate black voters and increase political engagement with the #WakandaTheVote campaign, the website Blavity reported. Wakanda is the fictional African nation featured in the long-anticipated Marvel film “Black Panther.” Kayla Reed, Jessica Byrd and Rukia Lumumba founded the Electoral Justice Project last year, and told Blavity that the movement has been effective “because we meet our communities where they are, whether that´s

Former New York Times Executive Editor Jill Abramson served only three years in that role; she was reportedly fired in 2014 for an ill-founded complaint about her compensation and for her "brusque" workplace manner. Her editorial competence was not questioned, however. In the era of #MeToo equalizing the perpetrators of rape with those of inadvertent microaggressions, perhaps no one remains in elite New York media qualified to make such a judgment, anyway. This week, Abramson´s reputation seemingly landed her a 4,000-word New York magazine cover story, which resurrects the sexual harassment complaints against Justice Clarence Thomas:

He has no idea how to make a majority of voters choose him. Mitt’s back. The former governor of Massachusetts and occasional native son of Michigan has a new persona: Mr. Utah. He’s going to bring Utah conservatism to the whole Republican party and to the country at large. Wholesome, efficient, industrious, faithful. “Utah has a lot to teach the politicians in Washington,” he says in announcing his Senate campaign. Maybe. There’s always been something unstable about Mitt Romney’s political identity.

DALLAS, Texas-A leader in Dallas politics does not want the National Rifle Association to meet in his city. Mayor Pro Tem Dwaine Caraway is urging the NRA to find a new home for its annual convention. He says the meeting is not appropriate in Dallas in the wake of last week´s school shooting in Florida. Caraway also points to the past tragedies in Dallas, including the 2016 ambush that killed five Dallas officers, and the assassination of President John F. Kennedy. "It is a tough call when you ask the NRA to reconsider coming to Dallas. But it is putting

Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s indictment Friday of a Russian “troll farm” and 13 foreign nationals leaves little doubt Russia was working to undermine US democracy. But the filing also knocks the teeth out of the “collusion” claim. That is, the charges are a strong sign that there’s nothing to Democrats’ charge that Team Trump worked with Russia to steal the 2016 election. Mueller confirms that the trolling entity, the Internet Research Agency, used fake accounts on Facebook and Twitter to spread disinformation, sway public opinion and promote rallies. The “strategic goal” was “to sow discord in the US political system.” Indeed, IRA began

GOP Utah Senate candidate Mitt Romney is changing his tune on President Donald Trump from where he was one year ago. Trump endorsed Romney late Monday evening, giving the former failed presidential candidate “full support and endorsement.” Romney responded almost immediately, thanking the president for his kind words and for backing him the upcoming election. “Thank you Mr. President for the support. I hope that over the course of the campaign I also earn the support and endorsement of the people of Utah,” Romney tweeted late Monday evening. Romney’s statement Monday is strikingly different from ones he has previously made

Nancy Pelosi gave a marathon speech on illegal immigration the other day. But how would she know much about the realities of open borders, given her palatial retreat in Northern California and multi-millionaire lifestyle that allows wealthy progressives like herself to be exempt from the consequences of her own hectoring? In the end, the House minority leader was reduced to some adolescent racialist patter about her grandson wishing to look more like his Mexican-American friend. I was thinking of the San Francisco Democrat’s speech last week, during a brief drive into our local town, in a region that is ground zero
