Congress seeks answers after FBI
claims texts missing in Trump-Russia probe

Washington Examiner, by Byron York

Investigators in both House and Senate were stunned late Friday when, receiving a batch of newly-released texts between FBI officials Peter Strzok and Lisa Page, they also received notice from the bureau that the FBI "failed to preserve" Strzok-Page messages from December 14, 2016 through May 17, 2017. Given the amount of texting that went on between Strzok and Page, who were having an extramarital affair, that probably meant thousands of missing documents. A number of critical events in the Trump-Russia affair occurred between December 2016 and May 2017, including: Conversations between Trump national security adviser Michael Flynn and Russian ambassador Sergey

Just 2.5 weeks ago FBI Director Wray and Asst AG Rosenstein agreed to turn over all documents on these scandals to Congress. Deal was made to avoid contempt of Congress charges against both men. Two weeks later, 6 months of text messages that were requested by Congress are "missing". Coincidence or coverup?

If coverup, this means that the Trump appointed AG and FBI head are protecting Obama and Clinton and all of their gang members. Has to just be coincidence. The FBI would never deceive Congress.

Oh sure, roll out of a new phone caused the loss of all the data. Like I believe that one when the FBI is noted for securing everything electronic and never release anything ´new´ unless it has been completely checked out, vetted and certified.

The FBI should have said a dog ate all the data. It would have been more believable.

Pay very careful attention.

"After finding a umber of politically oriented text messages between Page and Strzok, the OIG sought from the FBI all text messages between Stzok an Page from their FBI issued phones through November 30, 2016, which covered the entire period of the Clinton email server investigation."

Horowitz wrote to Grassley and Johnson on Wednesday.

The FBI handed over those messages on July 20, 2017. After reviewing those exchanges, Horowitz expanded the investigation to include all of the text messages exchanged between Strzok and Page from November 30, 2016 to July 28, 2017.

Horowitz´s office received those messages on August 10.

Here is the link to the screenshot from Justice Department Inspector General Michael Horowitz´s letter to Grassley and Johnson confirming the FBI successfully sent over Page and Stzrok´s text messages.

The NSA just stated last week that they lost a bunch of data. Not buying any of it. Computers are individually backed up, the network servers are backed up. They have it and they are lying to the American people. It is up to us now to determine their punishment and once it starts they had better find some deep holes. They believe any lame excuse you feed them. “My hard drive failed, computer crashed, technical error, house fire, dog ate them, I threw up on them”. The recommendation of Israeli police that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu be indicted for graft looks to me like an acute case of a malady that is itself a threat to the Jewish state. I call it the American disease. This is the itch to criminalize policy differences, an infection America came down with in the 1980s and has been suffering from, on and off, ever since. Just ask President Trump. He is being pursued by such a gaggle of Democrats dressed up as special prosecutors that it’s a wonder he finds time to do the job the voters hired him to do. It’s

Again, if you are investing in US financial markets, keep a close eye on developments regarding the FBI and the Hillary Clinton e-mail investigation. The markets don’t like chaos, and that’s what we are headed for. There have been a lot of major developments recently, although most big media organizations are ignoring them. They will soon regret that. For now, I’d like to point out one development from recently released e-mails between those cheating FBI lovebirds, Peter Strzok and Lisa Page. Nobody seems to have caught this, so allow me. In June 2016 Strzok messaged Page to say this about Clinton’s e-mails: “She

Who is a ‘Dreamer,’ anyway? Later today, the Senate will begin to debate immigration. There’s no actual bill on offer — Majority Leader McConnell will bring a shell bill to the floor, and then the amendments will begin. Whatever gets 60 votes will prevail. This time last week, there was growing tumult in Washington over the memo produced by House Intelligence Committee Republicans alleging "FISA abuse" in the Trump-Russia investigation. There were dire warnings that the release of the GOP memo would endanger national security, that doing so would be "extraordinarily reckless" without proper FBI and Justice Department review, and that the FBI had "grave concerns" about "material omissions of fact" that would "fundamentally impact the memo´s accuracy." The GOP memo survived a starkly partisan process in the Intelligence Committee. Republicans voted unanimously to make it public, while Democrats voted unanimously against making it public.

The news is filled with reports that Republicans in Washington are "attacking" the FBI over the Trump-Russia investigation. The Washington Post recently compiled a collection of statements by GOP lawmakers under the heading, "Republicans launch attack after attack on the FBI." The New York Times ran a news analysis headlined, "Trump´s Unparalleled War on a Pillar of Society: Law Enforcement." Those words have been echoed many, many times by various talking heads on television. But have Republicans really been attacking the FBI? The bureau is a big organization — about 35,000 people. NBA star LeBron James says President Trump doesn’t “give a fuck” about Americans. "The No. 1 job in America ... is someone who doesn´t understand the people, and really don´t give a f**k about the people,” James said in a video recorded last month with ESPN’s Cari Champion and fellow NBA player Kevin Durant. The video was filmed as Trump had come under scrutiny for reportedly referring to some countries as “shithole countries,” prompting Champion to address Trump’s “racist comments.” "It´s not even a surprise when he says something," James said. "It´s like, laughable. It´s laughable and it´s scary." “While

Openly gay U.S. Olympic skier Gus Kenworthy broke his thumb while practicing, but don´t cry for him, because that just he means he won´t have to suffer the agony of shaking the vice president´s hand, according to him. It seems that the openly gay U.S. figure skater Adam Rippon is not the only one openly trolling the VP as he represents the United States at the Olympics. On Twitter, Gus Kenworthy expressed joy over breaking his thumb because of one "silver lining.""Broke my thumb yesterday in practice," he tweeted. "It won´t stop me from competing (obvi) but it does prevent me

Tell me more about how abortions are wrong,” Griffin wrote, in a tweet that went viral on Thursday, adding the hashtags

Public defender Melisa McNeill appeared with the school shooting suspect, 19-year-old Nikolas Cruz, at a brief court appearance today. "My children they go to school in this community and I feel horrible for these families," McNeill said, adding, "and Mr. Cruz feels that pain."
