According to Representative Dave Joyce (R-OH14) the House Intelligence Committee will hold a vote on the release of the four-page Nunes memo that reveals systemic corruption within the DOJ and FBI; including the unlawful use of FISA-702(16)(17) data searches which were part of an elaborate DOJ-FBI surveillance program on the political campaign of Donald Trump. (Tweet) Additionally, Chad Pergram reported that Chairman Devin Nunes met with Judiciary Chairman Bob Goodlatte to discuss the best process to release the memo. There are generally two ways it could be done, the HPSCI vote is the most likely. As more people have become aware

There´s been way too much talking. There needs to be some big-time indictments SOON or the villagers might storm the castle. People are sick of the double-talk and rancid baloney.

Clinton started the criminality in the Federal government and Obama brought the Chicago way to DC and made it into a full-blown RICO operation.

If this receives the full light of day that it deserves then many current and past Federal employees will be serving time in Federal prison. There is no way this criminality can stand. Wanton spying on Americans MUST stop!

Some of our commenters just cannot grasp that this is a very sensitive, critical process which absolutely has to be done in a careful, legal, constitutional way. It also has to be done in a bite-sized way so that the morons in the press and Joe Average Citizen, who knows nothing about this, can understand it at a reasonable pace. Dump it all and much will be washed away, like trying to drink from a fire hose.

Whining about Sessions absence and Trump not cutting through all the red tape, and things not moving fast enough is understandable to a small degree, but is either uninformed or childish or both.

This is an absolutely horrific and historic massive treasonous attempt to turn an election by the top levels of our government. Cleaning this up is like defusing a bomb. It has to be done by smart, skilled people, and very carefully if we want the country to remain intact, and to properly clean out this massive, criminal, treasonous infection and not let them all scurry away under covering fire by the Enemedia.

KNOW that the Enemedia is not just a cutsy term, in this they are truly the enemy of right and truth, and they will be doing all they can give the traitors a smoke screen and help them escape.

This is a very delicate situation and so far, President Trumps appointees and patriot congresscritters have been following all the legal and bureaucratic requirements needed to release this information to the public. The master move is actually following the law and the Constitution. Right works slower than wrong, but it does catch up with the grace of God.

.A. If the Memo is released, does anyone here believe that the NYTimes, WaPo, AP, CNN, CBS, NBC and the rest of the Democrat protecting media will report it? Conservative sites will provide full details, adding to our frustration but the MSM will either ignore it or say it´s a GOP hit piece

B. Will the apologists for Trump´s inaction on Obama, Hillary and their criminal conspiracies please stop making excuses. Sessions recused himself from all things Obama and Clinton, aka Russia, for a reason, and that is to allow the bad guys to escape justice. I want to be proven wrong, but doubt that I will be.

I know most of us have waited a long time to see the past administration (and the Clintons) get it´s comeuppance, but handling this memo is crucial to the success of the end result.

FTA "In addition to being both the victim and charged with the legal authority over the FBI and DOJ, there are downstream ramifications due to Special Counsel Robert Mueller investigating President Trump for “Obstruction of Justice”

Let the process work. The Dems will be trying to goad Trump into this too soon. He must resist. He has to have known the jest of all this anyway, and can sit back and let those in charge do their jobs.

It won´t take long now. Patience. As Sundance says... The Big Ugly is coming. There is no stopping it now.

Well....OK...but the ´slow play´, delay, deny...stretch it out and then call it ´old news´ gambit has worked very well for the Clintons for many years. Watergate became an ´issue´ because it was front and center---wall to wall 24/7 for a full year in the papers. The Left never thought about slow rolling it out. They slammed it in our faces from day one. Lets not be too cute about prosecuting this massive criminality. The media will scrub clean anything short of a Rose Parade size presentation.

This must be done very carefully if it happens.

If there is one mistake made, they will attempt to throw everything that has been learned as FACT to be thrown out in court, if it every comes to that.

What we have seen and probably should expect is a slap on the hand and "don´t do this again" sort of handling--we have seen it all before.

To create the false facts,

then the federales NOT check the veracity implicates them,

and those career DOJ employees who won´t take action or keep coveing it up implicates them,

and even still THEN the POS Dictator at the top WHO KNEW FROM DAILY INTEL REPORTS implicates him

is a CYA the demonrat/socilasts will FIGHT TO THE DEATH to protect their dastardly and illegal deeds from public view

and an insane MEDIA cover up of non reporting

sure sounds like a RICO cover up, as one poster said

I am reminded of Clint Eastwood´s "empty chair" speech where he said that if they don´t do their job, "t´s time to let them go"-- If this FISA Corruption Memo" is stonewalled from the public, we will know that the its time to get rid of the RINOcrats for keeping the people from the TRUTH.

This CHARADE which is about to come to a head and IF the republicans continued cowardice to do anything about it, we as a nation are FINISHED with those who would call a LIE the truth.

Read the article. Read #5, #6 and others. Impatience won’t work here.

Those who do not read are doomed to give misguided - unguided - opinions.

There is only one way to do this. The RIGHT way.

Sundance winds up with this:

Behind Nunes the Senate Judiciary Committee, Chuck Grassley, is investigating the Steele Dossier and the FBI use therein. Also there’s the House Judiciary Committee, Bob Goodlatte, focused on the DOJ corruption. Nunes, Grassley and Goodlatte are bolstered by Inspector General Michael Horowitz who is providing the year-long investigation evidence into politicization of the DOJ and FBI.

The entire enterprise of exposing the corruption and conspiracy has just begun.

CTH readers are well ahead of the entire storyline; however, for the rest of America -including a massive part the voting electorate- they have no idea what’s coming.

To repeat: It has to be done right. This is fully explained in plain English in this article.

If this vote does not go our way it is a definite call for torches, pitchforks and the building of scaling ladders. They are not going to get away with what they did.

Government tends to vote "NO" on matters like this because the peasants are too stupid to understand. Be ready for it.

Bravo to #5 for your excellent, informative post! I know I am not alone when I say that I had no idea that the executive branch couldn´t arbitrarily release the memo or the FISA application. That has been assumed by way too many people, me included. Sundance is indeed a treasure and a patriot.

That obnoxious little yapper Dana Perino, who is allegedly so well informed and all knowing in White House related matters, didn´t seem to know this.  She said the other day (in the link below starting at 21.35) that "they (congress) should ask the president to help them and just declassify it." She also said ´they should ask the president to help them and the president and the president should maybe want to declassify the FISA application that lead to the surveillance."  It is stunning that she is not even aware of this. I sure didn´t know it, but she is putting out erroneous, dangerous information. Maybe someone who is on Twitter should Tweet her this article. Email is long dead.

Sundance has done the best reporting on this matter that I have ever seen. They should be given an Pulitizer for their work.  Even if that were possible, I doubt they want to reveal themselves because of the obvious dangers.. Sara Carter has been excellent also. All that she has stated early on has proven to be true. The one who has really disappointed me is Catherine Herridge. I really like her and she has done stellar reporting in the past, but she seems to be really lagging behind in this story and has not broken any critical news. Instead her reporting echoes what Sundance of the Daily Caller have reported.

I truly believe that Mr. Sessions has been working on a huge plan to take down a large number of players involved in not only this, but a slew of other nefarious plans.
He is in a difficult position, in that he was a colleague of many of these people that are going to take a fall in this sorted affair.

#27, excellent points.
The old saw version is:"If you are going to shoot at a King, you must kill him." Ralph Waldo Emerson.

And it is also true of these many "mini-kings" inside our federal law enforcment and upper echelon (no pun intended) intel agencies.

And as much as Chuch Schumer is an execrable human being, he is one of the insider slimes and knows how Washington works.

A recent quotation:"Let me tell you, you take on the intelligence community, they have six ways from Sunday at getting back at you,” Schumer told MSNBC´s Rachel Maddow."

Yes, exactly. These cases have to be absolutely airtight, bulletproof, Enemediaproof to stand, that takes time, effort and it must be revealed properly from a legal and political standpoint. Know that the most expensive lawyers in the country will be paid millions to find cracks in the legal cases to get their dirtbag traitor clients off the hook. No gaps can be left.

It will be a hellstorm when it finally breaks.

If you´ve been following the reaction in the press to Donald Trump´s withdrawal from the Iran nuclear deal, you would think the most important issue is war or peace with the Iranians. Scuttling the deal, many are saying, will force Iran to "restart" its nuclear enrichment program (that it only paused anyway), which will force the U.S. to engage Iran militarily to stop the Iranians. Whether Iran goes back to open enrichment of uranium is not the primary question. What matters is that exiting the deal leaves the U.S. perfectly free to ratchet up the pressure on an already feeble

But Barack Obama, whose imperial term changed the way Americans interact and in some ways paved the way for the Trump presidency, is now watching his much-celebrated and mythologized two-term legacy be systematically demolished. This, in many ways, tells us that American governance still works. A prominent Vietnam veterans advocacy group is calling for a Trump administration official and a retired Air Force general to be fired for their demeaning comments this week about Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.). The Vietnam Veterans of America on Friday condemned the remarks from retired Lt. Gen. Thomas McIrney and White House special assistant Kelly Sadler, as "disrespectful and offensive" and demanded their employment be severed "immediately." The Hill first reported Thursday that, in a closed White House meeting with communications staffers, Sadler dismissed McCain´s push to block the confirmation of the president´s nominee to head the CIA, insulting him

WASHINGTON – President George W. Bush rejected isolationism and said he “wholeheartedly” agrees with the words of Winston Churchill about the U.S. being unable to escape its “world responsibility.” “America is indispensable for the world and the dangers of isolation loom. The price of greatness is responsibilities. One cannot rise to be in many ways the leading community in the civilized world without being involved in its problems, without being convulsed by its agonies and inspired by its causes,” Bush said, quoting the prime minister, after accepting the Atlantic Council’s Distinguished International Leadership Award in Washington on Thursday evening. “If this

This week in Australia during an interview with Julia Gillard, Australia’s first female prime minister, 2016 Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton said there was still “a very large proportion of the population” that she said was uneasy with women in positions of leadership. Clinton said, “There is still a very large proportion of the population that is uneasy with women in positions of leadership, and so the easiest way to kind of avoid having to look at someone on her merits is to dismiss her on her looks.” When asked about the “lock her up” chants, Clinton added, “There is

In case you´ve never heard of her, Elena Delle Donne is a WNBA star. The current WNBA leader in career scoring average, Donne is a past league MVP winner who plays for the Washington Mystics, my hometown team. And I had never heard of her before today. During an interview with ESPN´s Outside the Lines, Donne complained that the reason I and many others aren´t familiar with her and her fellow WNBA players is because Adam Silver and the NBA do a poor job of promoting women´s basketball. The interview was prompted by a tweet Donne sent to ESPN's Michelle Beadle that said, "We continue to cover the negatives

Kelly Sadler, a special assistant in the White House, is accused of mocking John McCain on Thursday. McCain, the Republican senator from Arizona, is battling an aggressive form of brain cancer. Two unnamed sources told The Hill that Sadler took issue with McCain´s criticism of President Donald Trump´s CIA nominee, Gina Haspel, allegedly dismissing the ailing McCain, saying "he´s dying anyway." McCain on Wednesday said that Haspel is unfit to run the CIA because she would not say definitively that torture is immoral. That issue is one of several that have made Haspel´s journey toward Senate confirmation an uphill battle.

On Thursday´s edition of ABC´s The View, Whoopi Goldberg weighed in on CIA Director-designate Gina Haspel´s testimony at her confirmation hearing yesterday, who stated that torture does not work, and "The Guy In The White House," President Donald, who said that "torture works." Goldberg challenged Trump and former Vice President Dick Cheney to "try it." "I would like you to try it," Goldberg said to Trump. "I think people who have actually been tortured who are saying that this is not a good thing you should listen to them because you have never been tortured and neither has Dick Cheney."

A former Democratic congressman from Chicago, heading to prison for the third time, says he has “given up on America” and plans to move to Africa after he serves his latest sentence. At his sentencing Thursday, Mel Reynolds, 66, got six months in prison for failing to file tax returns on more than $400,000 he received for consulting work. He also received a scolding from federal Judge Robert Gettleman, who told the Harvard graduate he could recall thinking to himself in the early 1990s that Reynolds had tremendous promise. “It's a tragedy that you squandered the opportunities you had and the type of person you could have become,"

When Hillary Clinton lost her bid to become President, I thought she´d realize that her time was over and that she should enjoy her sunset years with her family and friends. Little did I expect that she´d embark on a second career by making herself into the object of continuing ridicule. (snip) We already know that Hillary Clinton probably has Parkinson´s Disease. Camptocormia comes as a later manifestation of that disease process. Back braces are commonly used to help with camptocormia. Hillary has not had an injury or surgery that she has disclosed, yet the evidence is strong that she´s

As death flutters around the back-yard deck of Senator John McCain, it’s sad to read reports that the scrappy Sandcutter regrets picking Governor Sarah Palin as his vice presidential running mate and wishes he had instead picked Senator Jos. Lieberman. The only person diminished by this kind of talk is Senator McCain himself, and the heroic Arizonan deserves better. Not that we lack for love of Mr. Lieberman. The Sun was the first newspaper to sketch the rationale for Mr. McCain to bring in Mr. Lieberman as his running mate. That was in an enthusiastic editorial called “The Logic of Lieberman.”
