Elizabeth Warren’s Native American
problem goes beyond politics

Boston Globe, by Annie Linskey

Original Article

Posted By:IowaDad, 1/20/2018 6:32:18 AM

There’s a ghost haunting Elizabeth Warren as she ramps up for a possible 2020 presidential bid and a reelection campaign in Massachusetts this year: her enduring and undocumented claims of Native American ancestry. Warren says now, as she has from the first days of her public life, that she based her assertions on family lore, on her reasonable trust in what she was told about her ancestry as a child. “I know who I am,” she said in a recent interview with the Globe. But that self-awareness may not be enough, as her political ambitions blossom.

The schools she was allowed to enter are just as at fault. Anyone affiliated with a Tribe in the U.S., has I.D. papers issues by the BIA.

If Harvard didn´t ask her to produce such, then Diversity Hiring is a sham. (but you already knew that.)

The annual report filed by employers, sent to the federal government, with breakdowns by race/ethnicity, are based on employee self-reporting.
Elizabeth Warren, a self reported native American, and member of a legal group of minority members, took a job from a black person - one who didn´t get hired at Harvard Law because Elizabeth´s husband advanced her name as a minority candidate.
I spent much of my life believing that I was of Polish and European Jewish descent. Ancestry said no -I was of Polish and Finnish descent. However, my mistaken ethnicity never got me a job.
Warren gamed the system, with fake minority status and a poor research record.

It is a loong article. I would save it for future reference if I were a GOP campaign manager. She lies right there and says she did not receive any benefit from ID´ing as a First Nation descendant. She actually did - when she got hired by Harvard. She has a cousin in OK who self-ID as Cherokee - and others who don´t. A simple Ancestry.com DNA test would clear it up. And then she could apologize.

I´ve never understood why Warren doesn´t simply take one of those DNA ancestry tests (Ancestry.com DNA or 23andMe - they´re all pretty accurate). If she is Native American it will indicate it, as well as what percentage. If she isn´t, it will indicate that, as well. That would settle it once and for all. Is she afraid to find out the truth?

Far more U.S. teens than previously thought are transgender or identify themselves using other nontraditional gender terms, with many rejecting the idea that girl and boy are the only options, new research suggests. The study looked at students in ninth and 11th grade and estimated that nearly 3 percent are transgender or gender nonconforming, meaning they don´t always self-identify as the sex they were assigned at birth. That includes kids who refer to themselves using neutral pronouns like "them" instead of "he" or "she."

The FBI inquiry into alleged Russian collusion in the 2016 US presidential election has been given a second memo that independently set out some of the same allegations made in a dossier by Christopher Steele, the British former spy. Unlike Steele, Shearer does not have a background in espionage, and his memo was initially viewed with scepticism, not least because he had shared it with select media organisations before the election.

Revelations that the FBI had been warned about Florida high school shooter Nikolaus Cruz fit an all-too-familiar pattern, in which apparent law enforcement errors have preceded mass murders. The FBI was warned about Cruz after he posted on YouTube saying he was going to become a “professional school shooter.” The agency said they couldn’t identify the user who made the threat, despite Cruz posting under his own name.
