Sen. Jeff Flake (R-AZ) is retiring soon, but not before he gets some last digs in at President Trump. We first gauged Flake´s distaste for the 45th president when we learned he had written a book called Conscience of a Conservative. In it, he credited people like Trump for jeopardizing the GOP´s morals. He also criticized his fellow Republicans for not speaking out against Trump´s Twitter rhetoric. "There are times when you have to stand up and say, ´I´m sorry. This is wrong,´" Flake said. Trump gave it right back to the senator, getting a crowd of Arizonans to boo and

Sour grapes. Just because he is a failure. Maybe there is a shovel-ready job for him somewhere...

Anyone who will tolerate lies from the media does not preserve an open and free media. The media is doing it to themselves. President Trump just calls attention to it! Perhaps that is what will eventually save the media- when people no longer tolerate the lies from it.

Not so fast Obama, your biggest scandal

While speaking to a tech conference this week in Las Vegas President Obamarepeated a claim he and many members of the media have made since his presidency came to an end. “I didn’t have scandals, which seems like it shouldn’t be something you brag about,” Obama said. “But actually,” he said, “if you look at the history of the modern presidency, coming out of the modern presidency without anybody going to jail is really good. It’s a big deal.” The notion is obviously absurd on the face of it, for anyone who paid unbiased attention over the eight years of

New Day‘s Chris Cuomo is making the big move to primetime, going up against the likes of MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow and Fox’s Sean Hannity in CNN’s 9 P.M. slot. The move is an exciting one for Cuomo, who said that “the fight is at night” and he’s ready to “get after it.” But it also comes with deep sadness. While saying goodbye to co-host Alisyn Camerota and the rest of the team at New Day on his last episode Thursday, Cuomo got teary. After calling Camerota “a gift” to the morning show, he turned to his family, who Camerota had

Liberals will be shocked to hear this. Yes, I finally agree. You’ve won over Wayne Root with evidence and common sense. It’s time to impeach the president. However, it’s not President Trump I’m talking about. It’s time to impeach former President Barack Obama. And of course, prosecute him too. Many are starting to come to this conclusion. Tom Fitton, the legal genius behind Judicial Watch (the number one government watchdog in America), has come to the same conclusion. Fitton said this week that amidst a climate of impeachment fervor, the actual evidence points to Obama’s actions warranting impeachment far more than

The great thing about a hot dog is that, healthy or not, it’s a hot dog. But our liberal friends at the Washington Post think they have a better alternative: carrot dogs. You read that right, this “plant-based” alternative is being pitched on Memorial Day weekend as “perfect for a cookout.” “The most unexpected (and welcome) guest at your next cookout: Carrot dogs,” the paper’s Twitter account read. (Tweet) “Serve these carrot dogs nestled in buns with the toppings such as vegetarian chili, cheddar, chopped onion, sauerkraut, kimchi, pickles/relish, ketchup and spicy mustard,” the article informs readers. Trump signs three executive orders

President Trump signed three executive orders Friday containing sweeping reforms that weaken protections for federal workers and eliminate perks for the unions that represent them. Under the new executive orders, estimated to save at least $100 million a year, unions will be charged rent for federal office space and will not be reimbursed for travel expenses or for hours spent appealing worker firings. Going forward, federal workers must spend 75 percent of their time on government work -- some currently spend none -- and agencies must publicly post union contracts in an online repository. Trump also ordered the termination of

Some NFL players are reportedly considering new ways to protest after NFL owners voted on a new national anthem policy Wednesday, reports Sports Illustrated´s Robert Klemko. According to Klemko, some are discussing ways to skirt new rules "just to spite the NFL." The policy removes a requirement for players to be on the field for the anthem, and gives players the option to stay in the locker room. Teams will be fined for any personnel that "do not show proper respect for the flag and Anthem” on the sidelines. Other journalists were hearing similar things from players they talked to.

The conceit of those claiming Mr. Trump has crossed some line in ordering the Justice Department to comply with oversight is that “investigators” are beyond question.
