Here’s what Dems had to say last
time there was an impending
government shutdown

In light of the potential government shutdown looming over budget negotiations and quietly being used to pressure Republicans into providing a legislative solution for Dreamers, its worth examining what Democrats had to say on the subject in the run-up to the last government shutdown in 2013.Democrats, then in control of the White House and the Senate, castigated Republicans in harsh and personal terms in response to their refusing to approve a budget deal that did not defund Obamacare. Their criticisms centered around a rejection of the shutdown as a negotiating tool; they argued that it is an abdication of duty

A goobernemnt shutdown, other than the obvious that less goobernemnt employees (like IRS,FBI, NSA and other weapoonized agencies) will be at work to screw us over, is not a sure thing for the fascist Dems this time. Illegals are not a popular subject.

As much as the media will try to present a shutdown as the end of the world (Women and Minorities Hardest Hit!),the public will see little difference. They might even realize how nonessential most gov´t activities really are.

#4 In addition the msm will blame President Trump and the Republicans for the shutdown not the Democrats. So when the Government gets shut down those serving in the Army will not get paid because Republicans didn´t want the DACA illegal aliens and all their relatives to become legal! How is that a winning position for Democrats? Someone explain that to me.

The problem of mass violence in the U.S. is more a reflection of contempt for the sanctity of human life than of a love for gun ownership. In a society that reveres human life, gun ownership isn´t a chronic problem. People who genuinely believe in the sanctity of human life won´t take another life - by gun or any other means - unless it is absolutely necessary. Not so in a society that views human life as subjective and revocable. In a society that condones, funds, and promotes abortion and excuses euthanasia, human life is cheap. When a woman has a

North Dakota Republican Rep. Kevin Cramer announced Friday plans to run for Senate against Democratic incumbent Heidi Heitkamp. The decision is sure to come as a relief to Washington Republicans who had been pressuring him to reconsider his decision last month to stay put in the House. With Democrats fighting hard to seize control of the House this fall, Republicans are determined to hold onto their narrow majority in the Senate, now at 51-49. Heitkamp, a Democrat in a deep-red state that went overwhelmingly for President Trump in 2016, is thought to be one of the most-vulnerable senators this cycle. But until

At the direction of Bill de Blasio’s administration, New York City public school principals have begun filling vacancies with teachers languishing on the city’s Absent Teacher Reserve. Everyone knows that this decision is lousy for city kids, especially those most in need of top instructors. In hindsight, though, it was also inevitable: the rules that govern public schools are designed to look out for the interests of adults, not children. The ATR is an example of what happens when commonsense reforms run up against an inflexible system.
