Jeb Bush backs Romney
for Utah Senate run

Hill, by Olivia Beavers

Original Article

Posted By:tisHimself, 1/16/2018 6:23:47 AM

Former Gov. Jeb Bush (R-Fla.) on Monday threw his support behind former GOP presidential nominee Mitt Romney, who is reportedly weighing a Senate run in Utah. Mitt would make a phenomenal addition to the U.S. Senate. I hope he runs. https://t.co/3Vcg6txQmN — Jeb Bush (@JebBush) January 15, 2018 Bush´s endorsement on Twitter comes shortly after Romney criticized President Trump for reportedly describing African nations, Haiti and El Salvador as "shithole countries" during a meeting with lawmakers on immigration reform last week.

It should be noted, this axiom is not probabilistic. Rather, it is deterministic. The quiet genius has spoken!

I am very concerned that Romney would be a wrecking ball for the MAGA movement.

Also, the mention of Mia Love as a potential candidate is concerning since she willingly became a GOPe tool shortly after she placed her hand on the bible and swore an oath to "protect and defend". She always seems to be willing to do the bidding of the GOPe which is in conflict with the best interests of "the people". Just another hope co-opted by the Establishment.

The rest of the time, Romney will legacy build using our tax dollars and undermine the conservative agenda President Trump has been advancing.

He has no idea how to make a majority of voters choose him. Mitt’s back. The former governor of Massachusetts and occasional native son of Michigan has a new persona: Mr. Utah. He’s going to bring Utah conservatism to the whole Republican party and to the country at large. Wholesome, efficient, industrious, faithful. “Utah has a lot to teach the politicians in Washington,” he says in announcing his Senate campaign. Maybe. There’s always been something unstable about Mitt Romney’s political identity.

Mitt Romney said Friday that the nation must act swiftly to address the scourge of gun violence, stating that he was open to tougher measures like "enhanced background checks" if they would help keep guns out of the hands of the mentally ill. "What happened is unthinkable and unimaginable," he said after offering prayers for the victims of the Florida shooting. "We must take action to prevent tragedies like this from happening again." Speaking at a fundraising dinner held by Utah County Republicans in his first official appearance as a U.S. Senate candidate, Romney said he hoped to see the state generate

Mitt Romney´s extensive resume has many Republicans looking to him to take on a role in the Senate as a political and moral counterweight to a president many in the GOP see as divisive and undignified. First he has to get elected. The 2012 GOP nominee for president announced Friday he is running for the Utah Senate seat being vacated by GOP Sen. Orrin Hatch. Romney, 70, is among the best-known names in U.S. politics. He has been a successful businessman, governor of heavily Democratic Massachusetts, Olympics rescuer and, more recently, one of his party´s fiercest critics of President Donald Trump.

GOP Majority Leader Mitch McConnell has devised an immigration debate this week which can help an alliance of Democrats and roughly 15 business-first Republican Senators push an amnesty through the Senate while blocking President Donald Trump’s pro-American reforms. “I think this is an effort that is set up to fail [Trump and] is not set up to help Americans,” said Rosemary Jenks, government relations director at NumbersUSA. A travesty occured in the chambers of Congress last night and early this morning. Republicans in Congress exposed themselves as hypocrites and frauds by passing an unconscionable two-year budget deal that will explode this year’s deficit and add $1.5 trillion to the debt. This is a level of spending that is three times larger than government spending in President Obama’s final year in office. A majority of Republicans in both chambers of Congress voted for the bill, and President Trump signed it Friday morning. Now that the gun control advocates have had their fifteen minutes of fame, let’s start focusing on the real issues impacting the rise in school shootings since that infamous day in Columbine in 1999. Issue number one that no one in the mainstream media or government wants to acknowledge: fatherlessness. Specifically, the impact of fatherlessness on the boys who grew up to become school shooters. Dr. Warren Farrell, author of the new book The Boy Crisis, explains: Minimal or no father involvement, whether due to divorce, death, or imprisonment, is common to Adam Lanza, Elliott Rodgers, Dylan Roof and Stephen Paddock. The Massachusetts senator called herself a minority for nearly 10 years. She reported that claim on a legal directory and two law schools reported her as a minority on federal forms. Yet Warren is clearly not a minority. She’s white. Her family doesn’t appear on any Cherokee rolls.
