Romney takes swipe at Trump
over ´s---hole´ comments, race relations

Fox News, by Bernini Chakraborty

Original Article

Posted By:tisHimself, 1/15/2018 6:13:05 PM

Mitt Romney took a swipe at Donald Trump on Monday, condemning the crude comments the president was said to have made about Haiti and African countries -- calling them “inconsistent (with) America’s history and antithetical to American values” with a reference to Martin Luther King, Jr. The poverty of an aspiring immigrant’s nation of origin is as irrelevant as their race,” Romney tweeted. “The sentiment attributed to POTUS is inconsistent w/America’s history and antithetical to American values. May our memory of Dr. King buoy our hope for unity, greatness, & ‘charity for all.’”

Why shouldn´t we insist on the best? That´s the problem with "politicians". It took a political outsider to ask what now seems like an obvious question.

I had great hopes for Romney and was a strong supporter in 2012. He turned out to be a ´lightweight´ performer and not a strong Republican and not even a Conservative light.

He should run as a ´JFK´ Democrat.

Hey Mitt you might want to expand your news circle of influence beyond CNN and NBC. You might hear there are disputed accounts of what was said in that meeting.

If this is the best you can do I suggest you rethink running for Hatch´s Senate seat.

Romney knows the truth. But like any faithful d´rat, he wants to ´fly´ with the lies above it all. Apparently he thinks that will make him ´look better´ or more ´ethical´ somehow. If there was any doubt ...now we all know. Romney is just another s---rat with an R after his name. This should make McConnell want to spend another million to help him keep ´filling the swamp´ where some of the creatures are retiring.

I lived in the Dominican Republic in 1981. It was a hell hole then and has only gotten worse. It had a problem with illegal immigration from its next door neighbor Haiti. Haiti has gotten exponentially worse due to the earthquake. People don´t typically flee paradise. People do need to make their own countries better. Often I wonder if fighting is foreign war isn´t better then taking in millions of their people as refugees.

Romney is booster of global tyrants, encourages them to continue corruption and abuse of their citizens since US taxpayers will always be forced to take them in. Romney is the exact opposite of a decent, honest person. He´s very lucky he´s not in jail for running a $1 billion fraud in 2012. His son freely stated in Boston Globe and elsewhere that Romney had no interest in the job of pres., hated the whole idea of running, would´ve dropped out if he could have. Romney is a standard Sabotage Republican: to prevent us from getting the candidate we need and to constantly demean Republican voters. Romney, the GOP E, and the Democrat Party stand for exactly the same things: extreme globalism, open borders, endless foreign wars paid for by US taxpayers, massive free trade deals, and that the US is merely an ´idea,´ represents no geography, therefore US taxpayers are global slaves. Republican voters, half the electorate, still have no political party behind them.

Like saying one thing one day and retracting it before the day is out? Doesn´t lie? Come on, no one it that naive. He´s lying right now because he loves the pious ´high´ road and the press is encouraging this tool, till they tear the dope apart.

As far as cursing, no one knows what off the record tapes are hidden in leftist drawers, and if cursing is the new standard for holding office, every democrat I´ve known will have to leave.

I suppose if you need a lightweight, ´professional´ politician who is very rich and looks like a 1958 movie version of a President, Mittens is your man. Plus it will help him get his own PLANET after he dies according to his made in Palmyra, NY religion.

After time, there are certain adjectives that come to mind when national figures take it upon themselves to repeatedly criticize President Trump, adjectives such as arrogant, haughty, lofty, pompous, pretentious, and snobby. A Proverb also comes to mind, “Pride goes before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall.” (Proverbs 16:18)

Referencing America’s history being “inconsistent and antithetical,” it would be wise to consider the words of former President Dwight D. Eisenhower: “Neither a wise man nor a brave man lies down on the tracks of history to wait for the train of the future to run over him.”

Hillary Clinton recently referred to the border crisis, in which adults are crossing the southern border with children, stating, “Jesus didn’t say, ‘Let the children suffer,’” recalling the verse, “Suffer the little children to come unto me.” She is not alone; many politicians like to quote Scripture to supposedly chide their opposition into being shamed for their actions or to make a religious case for government action. The fact that people of faith respond to those who espouse a mixture of faith and politics is a blessing, but it should not be abused. The concepts of religious liberty and of the

Legislators from both parties are raising their voices against the Trump administration policy separating undocumented migrant children from their parents when they cross the southern border. The policy has garnered intense and unified Democratic opposition, with all 48 of the party’s senators endorsing a bill, proposed by California Sen. Dianne Feinstein, to reverse the policy. A growing number of Republicans also have come out against the current conditions on the border, while largely avoiding placing blame directly on President Donald Trump or his administration.

Romney, the 2012 GOP presidential nominee, declined to blame President Trump or the Department of Homeland Security specifically in remarks to a group of voters at a park here. He called images of children separated from their parents “pretty disturbing” and “heartbreaking.” “I think immediately we should go back to the setting where we’re not ripping children away from their parents, and then we expect Congress to take

Former first lady Laura Bush tore into the Trump administration for separating migrant families at the border, calling the “zero tolerance” policy “cruel” and “immoral.” Bush penned an op-ed for the Washington Post, which was published Sunday night as public outcry over the hundreds of children in detention centers intensified. “I live in a border state,” Bush wrote. “I appreciate the need to enforce and protect our international boundaries, but this zero-tolerance policy is cruel. Conservatives tend to be skeptical of joining great political movements because they tend to be skeptical of both politics and movements that are great. They prefer the little platoon, the shire, which they know to be safe—or at least probably safer than what lies beyond. Not all politics may be local, but all politics that isn’t local tends toward the totalitarian, however far short of it it may actually fall. That sounds almost like a philosophy of government—though not a government that any American alive today has experienced. But times can change, and they have with the election of Donald Trump.

Remarkably, for many on the right, the question of whether you were “with” McCarthy almost completely crowded out the question of whether or not you were right-wing or left-wing, Democrat or Republican, or even where you stood on the question of Communism itself. Former Fox News contributor George Will says voters must punish Republican “poodles” during the midterm elections to “quarantine” the president. An op-ed in Friday’s Washington Post by the long-time political pundit and conservative calls for voters to end the “carnage of Republican misrule” in Washington. Mr. Will claimed the “most telegenic example” of a need to oust Republicans exists with the administration’s “zero tolerance” policy regarding illegal immigrants along the U.S. southern border. “The Republican-controlled Congress, which waited for Trump to undo by unilateral decree the border folly they could have prevented by actually legislating, is an advertisement for the unimportance of

Taxes: Whatever you think about the issue of taxing internet sales, the simple fact is that the Supreme Court has just guaranteed that people across the country will now be paying more in state taxes. It´s hard for us to see how this is good news. In its 5-4 decision on South Dakota v. Wayfair, the court overturned two previous rulings that prevented states from taxing sales of out-of-state companies. That meant a catalog company based in Maine didn´t have to navigate 45 state sales-tax laws to figure out how much each customer owed, and then remit that money to the

How´s this for sneaky? Sen. John McCain, not too long after seeking conservative and Republican votes in his failed 2008 bid for the presidency, went right after those same conservative voters without telling them, by egging on the IRS to ruin them. It´s the sort of political back-stabbing that defies belief, taking an active role in destroying the Tea Party, which was an authentic grassroots movement of local groups calling for smaller government. But sure enough, Judicial Watch has found McCain´s central role right there in the documents: Judicial Watch today released newly obtained internal IRS documents, including material revealing that Sen.

Europe needs more mass migration from the Global South because it “enriches our cultures and societies”, according to Leo Varadkar, who announced he will import more asylum seekers to Ireland after meeting Hillary Clinton. Speaking days after a meeting with senior EU figures in Dublin, the globalist taoiseach (prime minister) committed to resettling a greater number of illegal immigrants stuck in Greece and Italy in Ireland than the batch of 4,000 already agreed. According to the Irish Independent, he said the gesture is about “solidarity and burden-sharing”, and as a way of repaying the support the European

"I am not a unicorn," said Michelle Obama. "There are millions of kids like me out there." Mrs. Obama was discussing her upcoming memoir "Becoming," before a crowd of thousands at the American Library Association conference in New Orleans Friday (June 22). True, she may have been the first African-American first lady, but Obama´s ascent from a working class background to a professional career in Chicago and eventually the White House is a path that any American should be able to aspire to, she said. Unfortunately, "in this country we´ve gotten to a point where we kind of think there are only

Time magazine has issued a correction to a controversial cover story about a Honduran migrant girl who they said was taken from her mother by US border patrol agents after it was revealed that the pair were never separated at all. Three-year-old Yanela Denise became the unintentional face of the now defunct family separation crisis after photographer John Moore captured her agonized face screaming as her mother was questioned by agents on June 12. After the picture was taken, the pair were taken together to a family detention center. Yanela´s father has since told DailyMail.com that they are ´safe´. As
