Time to Repeal the Disastrous
1965 Immigration Act

Question: If someone sells you on something with false advertising and it does the exact opposite of what was promised, are you not entitled to return the product and get a refund? In fact, if the product caused you harm, should you not in addition be compensated for damages? Consider that when Senator Ted Kennedy (D-Mass.) was pushing the Immigration and Naturalization Act of 1965 (S.500) on the Senate floor, he said, "First, our cities will not be flooded with a million immigrants annually." Actually, he was right. We now absorb more than a million immigrants annually. Kennedy next stated, "Under

Yes!
It´s become apparent that Dems lie always and everywhere. Maybe they weren´t always that way, but they have been since at least the ´60´s. Maybe even the 1860´s

But yes, doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result is insanity. And believing the Dems aren´t lying is insane. Here is yet another example. How many more does any one need?
They´re not a party to be take seriously any longer.

Amen, but perhaps a period of "affirmative action" is needed to restore the demographic balance that this outrage destroyed.

At least, as Pat Buchanan suggested years ago, another immigration "pause" would help assimilate those already here.

English as the official language of government (no more ballots in multiple languages, etc.) would also "encourage" assimilation. Speak as you please at home and in private with your friends and "paisanos", cherish and preserve your ancestral heritage and customs, but speak English in public (including job sites), and observe our cultural mores when dealing with the rest of us. Tear down this "Tower of Babel". You are here to melt in our cultural pot, not to throw us in yours. If you have regrets: leave.

The 1965 Immigration and Nationality Act was designed from the get-go by the very liberal and partisan Ted Kennedy to be a big time Democrat vote generator.

By allowing in huge masses of mostly poor, generally uneducated, unskilled, and socialist oriented peoples from the third world, Ted Kennedy was guaranteeing at least a two to one split in future foreign born voters in the favor of the Democrats. That was clear to see, but the wimpy Republicans went along due to the vast amount of cheap foreign labor that would be allowed into the USA each year able to be hired at low wages by Republican aligned business interests who financed many Republican political campaigns. If the tables had been turned and the voter split was two to one in favor of the Republicans, the Democrats would have forced the repeal of that law long ago.

While the Kennedy family always talked of their Irish ancestors and their affinity for everything Irish, by pushing the passage of the 1965 Immigration Act, Ted and Robert Kennedy screwed the Irish from being able to continue to immigrate to the USA in the future, as that law cutoff just about all historic Irish and European legal Immigration to the USA.

President Trump is right to move to a merit based immigration system, as if the 1965 Immigration Act, and its aftermath are allowed to remain in place, it will be the receipe for turning the USA into both a “S**thole” country and/or a oneparty run socialist utopia, however you look at it.

Democrats want to change the racial mix of the country from predominately white Europeans to predominately people of color most of whom will be from third world hellholes. The 65 Act is being used to do just that. The result will be the balkanization of the country where assimilation will be impossible because there will no longer be a common language. We´ll have pockets of third world hellholes no go zones all over voting for the Democrats freebies.

ST. LOUIS— Brooks Koepka is impossible to overlook now, winning the PGA Championship on Sunday with machine-like precision to go along with his back-to-back U.S. Open titles. And it still felt like he was the second billing to Tiger Woods. With roars for Woods unheard anywhere this side of Augusta National, Koepka kept his cool and ran off two birdies on the back nine at Bellerive right after Woods closed within one shot. Koepka closed with a 4-under 66 for a two-shot victory, making him only the fifth player to win the U.S. Open and PGA Championship in the same

The New York Times committed a major faux pas on Saturday that would likely bury a right of center news outlet. The newspaper tweeted what was seen by many as a racist assertion that black and Latino students rarely excel in math, before deleting it for being “poorly phrased.” Unfortunately for The Times, the internet is forever. (Tweet/Photos) The Times’ liberal allies will give them a pass here, but social media users weren’t so generous to the newspaper that just added honky-hating Sarah Jeong to its editorial board. Apple CEO Tim Cook has met President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania for dinner at Trump National Golf Course in Bedminster, New Jersey. The White House has yet to release a readout of the conversation between Trump and Cook over the Friday evening dinner at Trump´s golf club, and details of the discussion remain scant. Tariffs were likely a topic of conversation though, as Cook has not been shy about criticizing Trump´s approach to trade. ´Our view on tariffs is that they show up as a tax on the consumer and wind up resulting in lower economic growth and

Ohio Gov. John Kasich on Sunday said the GOP needs to find a unifying message to tamp down the “chaotic environment” that seems to dominate political discourse today, citing a narrow victory for Republican Troy Balderson in a special congressional election that should have been a slam dunk for his party. Mr. Balderson appears to have squeaked out a win in Ohio’s 12th Congressional District, where Republicans previously won with “overwhelming numbers,” as the governor put it. That’s raising fears among Republicans about their prospects in swing districts this November. “What you had is a, I think, a message from

After his recent passing, Charles Krauthammer was justifiably lauded as a leading commentator on public policy from the conservative point of view. Some said he was the single-most important and intelligent conservative force since William F. Buckley. While the praise for Dr. Krauthammer is well-deserved, I thought these comments were remiss by excluding George Will. Simultaneously, Will published a column that seems to display that his Trump Derangement Syndrome has caused him to suffer an apparent nervous breakdown telling people to vote for Democrats. The volume of omissions, half-truths, and outright lies presented as ‘news’ by these outlets is astounding. Trump has punched back, but something more is needed in order to push against the tsunami of Anti-Trump vitriol spewing from the establishment Fourth Estate. An effective strategy for the administration would be to produce a 30 minute Sunday program to specifically rebut the falsehoods and slanted coverage from the previous week. The program should run

He thereby moves from columnist to campaign consultant. In a close election it doesn’t take many uncomfortable moderate Republicans to just stay home to make a big difference. Tennessee has carried out its first execution in nearly a decade using a controversial cocktail of drugs including a lethal ingredient described by the Supreme Court as "chemically burning at the stake". Billy Ray Irick, an inmate convicted of the 1985 rape and murder of seven-year-old Paula Dyer, received a three-drug injection on Thursday night after the US Supreme Court denied a final request to stay his execution. The lethal injection consisted of midazolam, used as sedative during an execution, a muscle-relaxer called vecuronium bromide, and compounded potassium chloride, the agent that stops the heart.

Bureau of Labor Statistics data shows that the percentage of people working two jobs has actually declined since the Great Recession. It hovers at around 5 percent these days. And the average
