Is Obama as Shallow as He Seems?
Power Line, by Paul Mirengoff

Original Article

Yesterday, writing about former president Obama’s hack remark to David Letterman about the absence of “a common baseline of facts” shared by Americans, I asked whether Obama really is as shallow a thinker as he appears to be. It was not a rhetorical question. To be sure, Obama has failed to display appreciable depth since he wrote his fictionalized autobiography, Dreams From Father. His signature pronouncements and phrases are banal and borrowed. “The audacity of hope,” borrowed from his spiritual mentor the Reverend Wright. “Just words,” lifted from Deval Patrick. “You didn’t build that,” the obnoxious contribution of Elizabeth Warren. “Right

Rest assured that a walk through the ocean of most souls would drown his shallow, skinny little derriere. With all his silly Hope and Change, domestic spying, DREAM acts, Jihad-coddling, Benghazi bullshitting, Bush-blaming and broken promises, the world continues to deteriorate. Party hearty and ...Fore! He is a Fluke ?of the Universe. And whether he can hear it or not ?the Universe is laughing behind his back!

Funny how Mr. Mirengoff pens everything that many of us thought of ol´ PurpleLipps Stinky since back in 2007 when the Obozo first engaged Joe-the-Plumber. Remember that one? It was way back then that the diaper pool Obozo resides was draining. It´s merely empty now as it has been since about January of 2008. Obozo - a true Soros puppet. And one last thing about the nightmare America withstood from 2008-2016 - Stinky is neither smart, eloquent nor thoughtful. He´s as dumb, inarticulate and racist as a Maxine Waters.

I remember posting, during the 2008 campaign, that Barack reminded me of students that had taken my classes, and who looked intelligent, seemed to be paying attention, and then when I read the first test results, proved to be not too bright.
He is the perfect example of that.
But give him credit for playing the poverty pimp/affirmative action game like a master.

The article gives him credit for being smart. I don´t believe it. I think he is clever and crafty. I think he has a highly developed ability to read people and a situation and, chameleon-like to blend into it so he appears to be "aware" of the situation.

But he never lets himself get pinned down by astute questioning so no one can plumb his depths. He has an practiced aloofness that his supporters described as an erudite boredom with things beneath his intelligence.

I think most things were beyond his intelligence.

I was watching National Geographic’s documentary about Air Force One. Very interesting. When hussien was elected a new pilot for Air Force One was installed. So when hussien was picked up in Chicago as president elect as he boarded the plane he was greeted by the new pilot. Very handsome man. Hussien commented on how this new pilot was his (Hussein’s) of what a pilot should look like. REally. I couldn’t believe what I was hearing. Hussien was also showed the lunch menu. And he kept telling the Young man serving the food what he preferred instead. What a ditz.

When the Marxist Elites began to suspect that the failure of each and every one of their ideas was becoming apparent to way too many people.....they invented the ´ecology´ movement to make a virtue of industrial failure, privation, Ludditeism and starvation.

A few truly evil people with a sick form of ´intelligence´ have, for decades, led the herd animals of the left. Their ideas still fail but they are protected from the ´cruel world´ by their good intentions and bovine preference for the group above all.

Shallower. As The Who´s John Entwistle sang in the futuristic dystopian song "905" (1978, Who Are You), "Every sentence in my head someone else has said."

Most of my classmates at Virginia and Vanderbilt--and several hundred LDotters--are far more literate than this empty-souled, destructive politician. His BSing ability is better than average, so I would estimate his IQ at between 110 and 120. Suffice it to say that if his father hadn´t been black, we´d never have heard of him. There´s nothing remarkable about him other than his vocal timbre, which makes him sound important.

Mirengoff seems to believe that Obama wrote Dreams from My Father with all its nautical imagery and graceful prose. A few years ago Jack Cashill, Obama´s most careful reader on the Right, concluded that Bill Ayers, Obama´s domestic terrorist and communist neighbor (and friend who had worked as a merchant seaman), had been the actual author. I believe Cashill´s conclusions. Brilliant writers are capable of saying brilliant things extemporaneously because beautiful language lives inside them and emanates from them; Obama has never uttered one truly memorable sentence, or even phrase, in public. Such eloquence is foreign to him.

Two better than pedestrian writings breathlessly attributed to him, Dreams and the more than faintly pedophile poem "Pop," (almost certainly written by his probable birth father Frank Marshall Davis), were falsely attributed to him. I hope never to see another character as empty as Obama, the only true anti-American president in history, used as a vessel for the Left to pour their empty maunderings into.

(I do believe he wrote that poem about apes stomping figs in a cave. What was he thinking?)

With his paper-thin resume and shallow TelePrompTer oratory, I thought he´d be easy pickings for the GOP candidate in the general election. It was a lesson in "Be careful what you wish for." Obama is a Marxists. Anyone with a functional brain who is a genuine Marxist (as opposed to a power seeker using Marxism for power but not believing it) is guaranteed to be a limited intellect.
Marxism was described to me when I was about 12, and I was immediately struck that anyone would be stupid enough to think that "free stuff" would result in anything but folks laying around and expecting handouts. "To each according to his needs, and from each according to his abilities" was absurd and ridiculous to any bright 12 year old, yet hundreds of millions have died proving that it is unworkable.

Obama is like a college freshman, certain he has all the answers when, in reality, he failed to fully comprehend the question.

I have always been struck by how few fellow students at Columbia and Harvard had first-hand memories of Obama.
When interviewed people would say: ‘I think he was in one of my classes – I think’ or ‘we kind of remember seeing him around campus’. No pictures of him, no written notes, no memories of his intellectual greatness.
You’d think more people would brag about knowing someone who became president of the United States.

Revelations that the FBI had been warned about Florida high school shooter Nikolaus Cruz fit an all-too-familiar pattern, in which apparent law enforcement errors have preceded mass murders. The FBI was warned about Cruz after he posted on YouTube saying he was going to become a “professional school shooter.” The agency said they couldn’t identify the user who made the threat, despite Cruz posting under his own name. Five months later, Cruz pulled the fire alarm at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School and began shooting his former classmates with his AR-15. Other mass shooters and terrorists were similarly on the FBI’s radar

A filibuster-proof majority is a precious thing. Republicans have never had one, ever, but Democrats enjoyed one less than a decade ago. It bears remembering that, as the horror in Parkland yesterday has made this a week in which not one but two Democratic legislative priorities are on the table in which liberal self-righteousness is conspicuous, even by their usual obnoxious standards. Issue one: Immigration. They want a mass amnesty of DREAMers and they’re not willing to give up much to get it because, they reason, they shouldn’t need to. Amnesty is a virtue in itself! WASHINGTON -- For years, I have been saying that the Clintons lie when they do not have to, and that they tell a gigantic whopper when a little white lie would be perfectly adequate. President Trump’s legal team is citing a three-pillar argument to convince investigators, and the public, that President Trump shouldn’t sit down for an interview with special counsel Robert Mueller. Mr. Mueller wants access to the president as part of an inquiry into suspected obstruction of justice in the firing of the special counsel’s longtime friend, FBI Director James B. Comey, in May. The president’s legal team has resisted but not given a firm no. Here are the arguments against an interview. • The White House has given Mr. Mueller unprecedented access to White House documents and people. • There is no stated crime. •

He preened with guns and knives on social media, bragged about shooting rats with his BB gun and got kicked out of school — in part because he had brought bullets in his backpack, according to one classmate. He was later expelled for still-undisclosed disciplinary reasons. The portrait of Nikolas Cruz, suspected of fatally shooting 17 people at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland and wounding 15 others at his former school, is a troubled teen with few friends and an obsessive interest in weapons. Administrators considered him enough of a potential threat that one teacher said a warning

President Trump’s needling of Senator Elizabeth Warren’s unsupported claim to Native American ancestry has hit its mark. Yesterday, the Massachusetts senator made an unannounced appearance before the National Congress of American Indians, the oldest national organization that claims to represent the interests of Native Americans and repeated her previously debunked claims in a particularly offensive manner. (snip) her claim implying that her paternal grandparents were racists in opposing marriage to an Indian-heritage girl is false and despicable, besmirching the reputation of long-dead ancestors for political gain. Michael Graham of the Boson Herald, no friend of Warren, easily debunks this claim

Was the presidential portrait of Barack Obama made in China? Sources say artist Kehinde Wiley — who painted the former president before a background of greenery and flowers — has studios in China and produces most of his work there. “It’s his base of operation,” said art critic Charlie Finch, who has known Wiley and appreciated his talent since they were students at Yale. “He has dozens of assistants working for him.” While Obama sat for Wiley for several hours, the portrait may have been sent to China to be completed. “Normally, Wiley sketches out the important parts, and assistants fill out the rest,”

Openly gay U.S. Olympic skier Gus Kenworthy broke his thumb while practicing, but don´t cry for him, because that just he means he won´t have to suffer the agony of shaking the vice president´s hand, according to him. It seems that the openly gay U.S. figure skater Adam Rippon is not the only one openly trolling the VP as he represents the United States at the Olympics. On Twitter, Gus Kenworthy expressed joy over breaking his thumb because of one "silver lining.""Broke my thumb yesterday in practice," he tweeted. "It won´t stop me from competing (obvi) but it does prevent me

A day after the Valentine’s Day massacre at a Florida high school left 17 people dead, the suspect´s public defender called the accused gunman a "broken child." Public defender Melisa McNeill appeared with the school shooting suspect, 19-year-old Nikolas Cruz, at a brief court appearance today. "My children they go to school in this community and I feel horrible for these families," McNeill said, adding, "and Mr. Cruz feels that pain." (Snip) Besides the 17 killed, more than a dozen others were injured, some critically, after the suspect stormed the school. Nineteen-year-old Nikolas Cruz -- who mowed down Parkland, Florida, high school students and teachers, killing 17 and wounding many others -- had been thrown out of the same school for threatening his classmates. He had been bragging to them about having a personal armory and implying he would use it, justifiably frightening them. Subsequently he posted a photo of that armory, including assault weaponry, on Instagram as well as a photo of a target riddled with bullet holes with the recommendation to try it as "group therapy." He also posted photos of dead animals, well known as a hallmark of serial
