Pandemonium and Rage in Hawaii

Why would my 22-year-old brother be calling so early on a Saturday morning? I’d ignored the first call. But the second time the phone rang, I picked it up. He was panicking, his voice trembling uncharacteristically: He’d just received the emergency alert warning of a ballistic missile that was heading for Hawaii, where I’m from, and where he and my family still live. “THIS IS NOT A DRILL,” the alert read. My brother was alone, and had no idea what to do or where to go. And he wouldn’t have had much time to figure out a game plan—some estimates

We wouldn´t be having this discussion if appeasing liberal cowards had sat on this family of self-proclaimed ´gods´ before they got their first nuke plant up and running. We might not have had to worry if our liberal cowards had actually done something about the missile work.

But noooo... Now Liberal Hawaii is having hiss fits because one of their ´well trained´ operators fried their brains for half an hour.

No. Sympathy. Here.

Give a bureaucrat two buttons, one representing a normal day and one representing nuclear attack, chaos, and confusion. Guess which one he presses? The button pusher will likely be the head of his division in a year or two.

OK, let´s play alternative history. Say the United States had left Hawaii an independent kingdom 125 years ago. The Japanese empire would have easily invaded and enslaved all the surviving natives, just like they did on Guam.

Social justice warriors will use any excuse to bad mouth their own country.

Everyone blaming Trump for what happened.
Sure sounds like part of the unhinged and ongoing effort to polarize and eliminate a constitutionally elected president.

In the days and weeks after 9/11 we were all united in the need to find and destroy those who had attacked NYC. It took the Leftists almost 6 months to start calling our military baby killers and war mongers. Bush (being no Conservative) accommodated the Left by instituting foolish ROE and made the war/peace efforts un-winnable and dangerous...losing a few thousand more Americans so as not to upset the Mooslims.

Trump, when challenged, will not make these errors.

I would even go so far as to speculate that just the presence of the Trump/Mattis/Tillerson triumvirate will prevent any substantial attacks on American interests. Better to wait for another Liberal president.

We´ve come a long way since the CD sentry guard with binoculars and M-1 rifle as a first defense for citizens.
We now witness a 22 year old clueless snowflake knowing nothing about the panic he caused when he lifted his head from his I-phone and realized what he did. He freaked out all the liberals and ruined their day and somehow it´s Trump´s fault. No Hawaii, that´s the reason you are still alive. Hawaii is the #1 target for Rocket Man.

Imagine how fast the liberal Democrats will be calling for the US Government to surrender to North Korea. Those would be the same liberal Democrats who are now trying to undermine the Trump Administration on every issue.

If the Trump Administration is unable to to get the Kim Dynasty to denuclearize the Korean Peninsula, resulting in the Kim Dynasty moving ahead with their long range missile and nuclear warhead plans, ending up with about 50-100 long range missiles and nuclear warheads, with which the North Koreans can threaten South Korea, Japan, and the USA, by announcing that they might initiate a nuclear strike against liberal utopias like Honolulu and San Francisco, if the USA does not get US Forces out of Northeast Asia, and turn South Korea over to despotic Kim Dynasty governance, that have been the ultimate North Korean strategic objectives since the 1950-53 Korean War.

It is interesting to see how many at least claim to believe the TV/movie fantasy of 100% instant annihilation of everyone anywhere near as the result of a "nuclear attack".

The shadow of any substantial structure will provide a huge reduction in the harm to a person exposed in the open. People who were a relatively short distance from the bombs used on Japan survived if they were behind a concrete wall, or other substantial barrier, but otherwise unprotected.
Getting into a storm drain would be a very good strategy, with the risk of drowning if the weapon created a tsunami. Also, there are huge mountains on the Hawaiian Islands, a nuke a half a mile away, but over a ridge would do massively less damage.

If you actually think that a nuclear attack has become more imminent, I recommend Nuclear War Survival Skills by Cresson Kearny. Available in hardcopy and for free as a pdf on line, it is a practical primer of how to prepare for and deal with the aftermath of a nuclear attack.

If you think that planning for survival is foolish "because nobody can survive it", you are very far wrong. They are big bombs, with horrific consequences, but if you are beyond their blast radius, you have a very high probability to make it, and should know what to do at that point. The book is worth a read.

MELBOURNE, Australia -- When you hear "world tour" you usually think of superstars performing concerts in various cities for adoring fans. Not so with the presidentially deprived, entitlement-driven Hillary Clinton. Last week, Hillary Clinton came to Melbourne, Australia´s second largest city, and to Sydney, its largest, with a huge chip on her shoulder. The chip has been there since the 2016 election and seems to be growing larger with every appearance. As with almost everything else the Clintons do, it cost to hear her bitterness. Those who went to hear Clinton speak, more than 5,000 people, paid between $200 and $500 Australian

Democrats have long claimed to be the party of women -- a political party that wants women to have a "seat at the table" in boardrooms across industries, including access to top government jobs, and equal pay. They wear pussy hats at women´s marches and carry signs touting various incarnations of inclusivity and "female empowerment." There´s only one problem: Freethinking women need not apply -- as the left only supports those who subscribe to its narrowly defined political ideology. Take the left´s unbridled attacks against women picked to serve in the Trump administration, including such respected professionals as Gina Haspel, a 33-year

There have been some ugly comments recently about Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz. With the senator at home in Arizona fighting brain cancer, a young White House aide reportedly told colleagues they need not worry about his objections to CIA nominee Gina Haspel because, "It doesn´t matter, he´s dying anyway." At the same time, a retired three-star Air Force general suggested McCain cooperated with his North Vietnamese captors in his five-plus years in captivity, saying McCain´s nickname was "songbird John" — a baseless charge that dates back to dirty tricks against McCain in the 2008 presidential campaign. It was July 31, 2016. Just days earlier, the Obama administration had quietly opened an FBI counterintelligence investigation of Russian cyber-espionage — hacking attacks — to disrupt the 2016 election. And not random, general disruption; the operating theory was that the Russians were targeting the Democratic party, for the purpose of helping Donald Trump win the presidency. FBI special agent Peter Strzok was downright giddy that day. The Bureau had finally put to bed “Mid Year Exam.” MYE was code for the dreaded investigation of Hillary Clinton’s improper use of a private email system to conduct State Department business, which resulted in

It’s not the tawdry, no-class essence of pornographic “actress” Stormy Daniels that’s so grating as we watch her milking every misbegotten moment in the spotlight. No, it’s those who are enabling her. Having far exceeded her 15 minutes of fame, she’s doing whatever she can with whatever she has to maintain the illusion she’s a serious person with an important story to tell. She is nothing of the sort, and if her dalliance had been with a lustful Democrat — there have been plenty to choose from — her value as a newsmaker would have been lower than her neckline. Republican-driven investigative reports on Russia have provided an unanticipated view into secret anti-Trump maneuvers by Obama loyalists during the span of the presidential transition. Congress set out in early 2017 to investigate Moscow election interference and any coordination with the Donald Trump campaign. As the collusion avenues led to dead ends, Republican investigators for the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence and the Senate Judiciary Committee traveled on a new lane. They discovered a number of behind-the-scenes moves that they said transformed a traditionally acrimony-free transition into a partisan transfer of presidential power. Among the findings: Obama appointees relied

Ret. Admiral Michael Mullen appeared on Fox News Sunday, and was asked by host Chris Wallace whether Gina Haspel‘s involvement in enhanced interrogation disqualifies her from the job of CIA Director. Mullen, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff from 2007 to 2011, told Wallace, “I’ve aligned myself with Senator John McCain for a long time on views of torture and what the standard is.” (Snip) “And I recognize lots of intelligence professionals I’ve talked to think Gina is an extraordinary person with a great background. That said, she has a past and recently while she stated that she was

New York´s other ex-mayor believes Americans are facing an "epidemic of dishonesty" in the nation´s capital that´s a bigger threat to democracy than terrorism or Communism. While Rudy Giuliani has embarked on a recent media blast on behalf of President Trump, former mayor Michael Bloomberg in a commencement speech Saturday at Texas´ Rice University warned of "an endless barrage of lies" and a trend toward "alternate realities." The three-term City Hall chief didn´t mention Giuliani or Trump by name. However, he instead blamed "extreme partisanship" for the current barrage of dishonesty in politics.

A U.S. Army chaplain who served in Afghanistan is fighting to save his husband from deportation after he was arrested by Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents in Charlotte, North Carolina. "He said, ´Do you think we´re going to arrest the spouse of an active-duty Army officer?´" Brown told Newsweek. (Snip) In a statement sent to Newsweek, ICE spokesman Bryan Cox said the couple´s "claims they possess a ´marriage waiver´ are not accurate." He said such a waiver, form I-130, "certifies the existence of a family relationship but does not confer any type of immigration benefit" and said Brown and Avila

SEATTLE – The Seattle City Council on Monday approved a controversial but compromise head tax on large businesses to pay for programs for the homeless. The tax would raise about $48 million a year – less than the original proposal of $75 million but more than the $40 million that Mayor Jenny Durkan had proposed. Durkan says she will sign the bill. Amazon, downtown´s economic giant, immediately blasted the proposal and what it said was a hostile approach to larger businesses that "forces us to question our growth here." The tax passed in an 8-1 vote on an amendment, but several

CNN senior media reporter Brian Stelter kicked off Sunday’s Reliable Sources by complaining about a tweet President put out last week citing a Media Research Center study, which found 90 percent of evening network coverage of the President was negative. Of course, CNN took issue with the facts and put together a lineup of media figures to beat up on the President for criticizing them. Among the group was CNN Chief International correspondent Christiane Amanpour, who wasted no time in lashing out at President Trump and denouncing his favorable attitude towards Fox News. “I have been talking about this
