Should Hillary Go Free?
Townhall, by Steve Soukup

Shortly after winning the election, President Trump told the New York Times that he probably would not make good on his promise to pursue a new criminal investigation into Hillary Clinton’s many shady deals, from her email server to her campaign apparatus to her and Bill’s massive and well-connected foundation. Trump declared that further investigation would be “very, very divisive for the country.” Unfortunately for Hillary – and possibly for Bill as well – some things are beyond the control of even the most powerful man in the world. Some conservative members of Congress may force the Justice Department to take

"Free" is not a word in Hillary´s vocabulary.
It shouldn´t be in ours where any discussion of this crook is involved!

There. If congress just passes this progressive new law, Hillary can go free.

It may be very divisive for our country to further investigate the Clintons, but I think it could be even worse for our country if they are left free. At this point I don´t think I am alone in having very little respect for most in Congress. Much of the time they are not representing us, the people who pay their salaries. The corruption in our government is mind-boggling. I am a strong supporter of President Trump and think that he is exactly the right person for these times - a lesser man would have given up long ago.

The ´banana republic´ part of the 2016 presidential election was when a relatively few people in the FBI, Justice, State, and the Barack Obola White House decided that our votes didn´t count - that they were smarter than everyone else (a fiction maintained about Barack) and that they, not us, should select a successor to the Kenyan Klown.
I again assert that it will take a Lakerman Commission, with the powers of the Warren Commission or 9/11 Commission (without democrat lackeys as members - that means no BenVeniste, no Jamie Gorelick) to figure out what exactly HAPPENED.
If we don´t do this, and don´t punish the wrongdoers, then every future election is at risk of becoming the travesty delivered up by the Kenyan Klown and others.
This represents the greatest risk to our republic in my long lifetime.
Even Dead Ted Kennedy could not cause a crisis of this magnitude.

Very thoughtful argument that reminds us of the beauty of mercy (Shakespeare´s Portia, "Merchant of Venice"), but the people´s need to see punishment when they believe the government delivers only corruption (Cicero). Cicero wins, then and now. Hillary deserves punishment.

Hillary´s sequel to her book "What Happened" will surely be "Nothing Happened - How I Avoided Prosecution and kept the $500 million in bribes." She´ll dedicate "Nothing Happended" to suckers everywhere, especially Trump and the naive voters who believed Trump´s oft repeated promise to "Lock me up". Cackled out loud at that lie.

If the woman who (at least on paper) got a majority of the votes in a general election goes to prison there will be upheaval which could distract and derail the path of economic and social recovery. But that is not to say her crimes should (not) be hung out for everyone to see in an undeniable fashion. Try, convict and then pardon.

Charge her with her crimes, if proven guilty convict her of those crimes, sentence her for those crimes, make her pay back $ she, Bill and Chelsea have stolen, and then......

President Donald J Trump can pardon her. Just like President Gerald Ford did to Nixon, for his little breaking & entering scheme.

Btw - put in jail all of the criminals that assisted Hillary & Obama in their INFINITE # of crimes....

During the prosecution of Guy Fawks, the end result was the convicted party was tided to a rack, and dragged through the streets naked for people to throw filthy at as the rig passed. They would run forth and dump buckets of bed chamber contents, rotten food, etc on them. This disgusting display of public outrage was cathartic as each person who wished could participate in the public humiliation and punishment of the condemned.

Believe me when I say, I believe for Hillary, such a punishment would be too good. I would save a bucket or two for just such an event. Yes, her crimes are that bad. She would deserve every drop.

Excuse 2nd post but remember that Gerald Ford lost his attempt to be an elected president to Carter in no small part because Ford gave an unconditional pardon to the corrupt Nixon. Ford´s disgusting pardon after Ford spent over a year as VP proclaiming c that Nixon was innocent of all charges, including back dating personal tax deductions to the break ins and destruction of evidence. Nixon´s pardon with full presidential benefits was surely a model for the Clintons and Obama: Hey, if we get caught, we´ll be pardoned.

Failure to prosecute Hillary and Obama won´t make Trump a hero to the left but it will turn off normal voters who believe in equal justice under the law. Trump´s apparent refusal to awaken Jeff Sessions from his recusal slumber will not serve PDT well in 2020.

Hillary is plotting another run at the Presidency which probably will be unsuccessful given how much money she burned through on her two previous tries. However, the only way to ensure that she doesn´t get a third bite of the apple is to indict and convict her. After that, Trump can do what he wants.

It’s not just Hillary Clinton who can’t quit Russia. The whole Democratic Party keeps going back to 2016. In a move that reeks of desperation, the DNC filed a civil suit Friday against President Trump’s campaign, Russia and WikiLeaks, alleging a vast (right wing!) conspiracy to tip the election to Trump. The suit’s flamboyant charges made headlines, but that only served to obscure the real meaning. Namely, that top Dems are giving up their fantasies that special counsel Robert Mueller will deliver them from political purgatory by getting the goods on Trump. The trashy suit is their way of trying to keep impeachment

California passed a law called the California Healthy Youth Act in 2015 to promote “healthy attitudes” about “gender [and] sexual orientation.” The law is meant to teach students about the “effectiveness and safety of all FDA-approved contraceptive methods” and allow for “objective discussion” about “parenting, adoption, and abortion.” The law also gives parents the ability to opt-out of this education and said that the “pupil” shall not be punished academically in any way if they don’t

Norm Macdonald, in addition to being the best Weekend Update anchor ever, is also a keen student of human nature. Last year he summed up the results of the 2016 presidential election with this koan-like observation: "People hated Hillary Clinton so much that they voted for someone they hated more than Hillary Clinton in order to rub it in." I really think that sums up our current moment. A lot of people, myself included, underestimated just how tired of Hillary everyone was. After a quarter-century of listening to that awful old criminal´s angry, scolding voice, America finally said enough was

AMSTERDAM -- Amnesty International gave former NFL quarterback Colin Kaepernick its Ambassador of Conscience Award on Saturday for his kneeling protest of racial injustice that launched a sports movement and might have cost him his job. (Snip) "Racialized oppression and dehumanization is woven into the very fabric of our nation -- the effects of which can be seen in the lawful lynching of black and brown people by the police, and the mass incarceration of black and brown lives in the prison industrial complex," Kaepernick said. Kaepernick first took a knee during the pre-game playing of the American national anthem

A Fresno State professor who called the late Barbara Bush “racist” soon after her death Tuesday, and said she was glad “the witch is dead,” continues to face fallout as donors mull ceasing donations to the institution. Randa Jarrar, an English professor at the school (also known as California State University at Fresno), sparked outrage Tuesday just hours after the former first lady died at age 92, writing a number of tweets attacking Bush and the family. “Barbara Bush was a generous and smart and amazing racist who, along with her husband, raised a war criminal. F*** outta here with

A funny thing happened on the way to this week’s column — Sen. Jon Tester did something I liked. On Wednesday, Sen. Tester took part in a Senate Commerce Committee hearing where he blasted someone who is perhaps the least popular man in America. No, not Jeff Zuckerberg (he is SO last week!). I’m talking about Adrian Abramovitch. Chances are, you’ve never heard of Abramovitch, but even so, I am confident that — along with me and Sen. Tester — you don’t like him! Indeed, when you find out that Abramovitch is accused of making nearly 100 million robocalls in
