Instead of railing against “s---hole countries,” President Trump probably should have stuck with the approach he took last year while discussing the Muslim countries that are flooding the U.S. with terrorists. “We have to stop this until we can figure out what the hell is going on.” The problem, of course, is that this torrent of immigration from the Third World includes a wildly disproportionate number of terrorists, drug dealers, gangbangers and illiterate non-English-speaking beggars who are angrily demanding handouts. No one can deny that. Let’s talk about their crime first, then welfare. Just before Christmas, the Justice Department released statistics on the

When a person is granted refugee status, they are immediately eligible for all welfare benefits - Medicaid, which, in Pennsylvania costs in excess of 20,000 dollars, cash welfare payments, food stamps, Supplemental Security Income if ´disabled´ with additional payments for dependents.
The cost per refugee plus extended family (chain migration, is, I would estimate, costing us upwards of 100,000 dollars.
We should be discussing those costs as part of the debate about immigration.)

Google the Statue Of Liberty. This is a mold of an Muslim woman done by an artist who was sending the LIGHTHOUSE to the Suez Canal. The Suez couldn´t afford the shipping cost of the statue so the statue did some traveling around. It finally landed in NJ water and was meant as a light House only. That plaque about "Tired bones" was put on the statue many years later probably by some NY liberal. to sum it up the statue is not what they think it is.

320 million Americans have seen their government spend the majority of its time on non-Americans and their outrageous demands for the past 20 years. Their priorities are seriously out of whack but like the Good, The Bad and The Ugly they just can´t leave the pile of gold alone. They see cheap and easy votes hence the hijacking of all three branches of government by a single issue.

The fix to immigration is simple: Enforce current law to the letter. Don´t announce it. Do it. Let the courts sort it out.

As for DACA, any bureaucrat who can´t find a way to reject pending/future applications ought to be fired for poor performance.

The Top 10 Westerns Ever Made,

No film genre is more quintessential to the American soul than the Western. The virtues Westerns champion—courage, moral clarity, self-reliance, individualism—are American virtues; their vices—excessive or hokey moral simplicity, caricatures of the enemy—are American too. Westerns are so synonymous with the legend that is America that it’s little wonder that from their heyday in the 1950s until today, they’ve played a key role in shaping our perception of ourselves, as well as the world’s opinion of us. The white-hatted cowboy standing firm against long odds is iconic, and not only within our borders. Western imagery has had such a powerful impact

The biggest albatross of environmentalism is its well-deserved reputation for apocalypticism: the world is always going to come to and end because of. . . plastic bags! Bee colony collapse disorder! Endocrine disruptors! Velociraptors! And of course the big one: c—— c—– (formerly known as g—– w——). This apocalyptic outlook always comes with the same sort of moral unctuousness you associate with a fire-and-brimstone street preacher: repent of your fossil-fool ways! Why, people often ask me, are environmentalists so gloomy about the human prospect? I have a simple answer: it makes them happy. Seriously: if you point out to environmentalists the

Beleaguered politicians like to complain they are too hemmed in by circumstances and handlers. If only they could throw off the shackles and be themselves, they would surely succeed. President Trump is going through one of those moments now and the restraints are flying off before our eyes. Look out, world — no more Mr. Nice Guy! Trump’s decision to be more Trumpian is reflected in a flurry of personnel changes that signal shifts in policies, including his approach to special counsel Robert Mueller. Asked what was behind one change, an insider described the president’s mind-set: “I tried it your way, and it hasn’t

The Trump era has been tough on Senator Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.), and no one has been tougher on her than President Trump himself, with his references to her as “Pocahontas.” With the nickname, the president is playing brass-knuckles politics to remind voters of her undocumented claim to Cherokee Indian heritage. To be politically correct, Warren says she is “part Native American” through her mother’s side of the family. Warren says she’ll fight back against Trump. “I went to speak to Native American leaders, and I made a promise to them,” she said in a TV interview. “Every time President Trump wants to

President Donald Trump’s shakeup of his national security team adds to the burden on one man at the center of any decision about war and peace: Defense Secretary Jim Mattis. Long a champion of alliances and diplomacy, Mattis increasingly finds himself surrounded by policy hawks on issues from Iran to North Korea. Yet his command of the nation’s 1.2 million active duty personnel makes him uniquely placed to steer Trump away from any rash decision to unleash the U.S. military. Trump stunned his own aides this month by reshaping his foreign policy team in a more hawkish bent ahead of a key

The Existential Case for Ditching Alexa

Alexa’s creepy laugh is far from the most worrying thing about her. This is despite the fact that Amazon’s digital assistant – which allows users to access the internet and control personal organisation tools simply by speaking to the device – has been reported to spontaneously chuckle to herself. We shouldn’t be too concerned about her going rogue and turning on us either – a Terminator-style takeover by artificial intelligence doesn’t seem imminent. But Alexa does pose one immediate threat. Rather than worrying about AI becoming more human, we should fear ourselves becoming more artificial by outsourcing important actions and decisions

An incident this week at a U.S. Air Force base in Northern California -- in which a vehicle burst into flames after crashing through the main gate -- is being treated as "an act of terrorism," according to a report. Authorities said a driver died, likely by igniting himself, after gaining “unauthorized access" to Travis Air Force Base in Solano County, about 55 miles northeast of San Francisco, on Wednesday night. There was no further threat to the base, where approximately 7,000 active military members and 3,700 civilians live and work, Air Force officials said. Why are so many women reluctant to call themselves feminists? It might be that widespread hostility toward men defines modern feminist movement. Certainly that was the theme of Hillary Clinton’s remarks earlier this month, when she blamed her 2016 presidential loss on husbands pressuring white women to vote for Donald Trump. Clinton has since been widely criticized and apologized. But her comments suggest so much that is wrong with today’s feminist movement: it’s both anti-male and anti-woman at the same time. Clinton said “all of a sudden white women, who were going to vote for me, and frankly standing up to the

The only reason for his cave-in that I find credible is what he said: that the huge spending increase for our now-depleted military cannot wait. LOS ANGELES– The Los Angeles City Council Friday is considering a motion that would enact a plan to provide housing for every transient in the city, as it continues to grapple with a housing shortage which has spiked rents and sent thousands of people into homelessness. The motion, introduced last month by Councilmen Mike Bonin and Marqueece Harris-Dawson, says there is little evidence that anything is being done to create or improve shelters for the homeless in the city and that a true sense of emergency is needed to deal with the problem. President Donald Trump’s choice of John Bolton as his new national security adviser — and his ongoing escalation of trade hostilities and reshuffling of his legal team — have all been widely interpreted as evidence that Trump is finally governing and conducting himself as he wanted to all along. He’s tired of advisers who are steering him away from his true agenda and persona, goes this narrative; instead, he’s finally getting back to the basics that make Trump who he really is. But this framing is built on a distortion that underplays just how dangerous Trump’s evolution really threatens to become.
