Trey Gowdy resigned his membership on the House Committee on Ethics to concentrate on his other legislative duties.Gowdy, a Republican, tendered his resignation Jan. 11 from the powerful ethics committee. His new position as Chairman of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee prompted the resignation, according to a letter Gowdy sent to House Majority Leader Rep. Compromised? Wonder if that was the reason all his bluster about Benghazi went nowhere? The unmasking during the 0bama admin probably played a huge part. I guess we will find out shortly.

Gowdy has made a lot of noise, but so far has been unable to really penalize the “Swamp” in any meaningful way. Leading to the thought that that Gowdy may in fact be an under the covers “Swamp” dweller himself.
