What They Told Us: Reviewing
Last Week’s Key Polls

Democrats seem to live outrage to outrage in the Trump era, but even they admit it hasn’t been a very effective political strategy. Only 10% of Democrats believe efforts by national Democrats to oppose the president have been a success so far. They aren´t overly confident that their legislators in Congress will be able to stop Trump´s agenda in the future either. At the same time, voters across the political spectrum continue to believe that the Republican president has only just begun to undo the achievements of his predecessor, Democrat Barack Obama.Desperate for someone with firepower to challenge Trump in 2020,

Meanwhile, with the unemployment rate falling and the economy booming, Trump ends the week with a 46% job approval rating, comparable to where Obama was at this stage of his presidency. [ Gallup has announced that it is ending its daily presidential tracking poll which means Rasmussen Reports is now the only survey firm still tracking presidential job approval on a daily basis.]

Highlighting the usual disconnect between those inside the Beltway and those out in the real America, Washington is buzzing about the new anti-Trump book, Fire and Fury , but just 16% of voters say they are Very Likely to read it. Only 36% think it’s an accurate portrayal of the Trump White House.

Gallup throwing in the towel? So much for polls. And buzz.

And therein lies the problem, O´Bumbler had no achievements. He was lazy, ignorant, and a butt. He is and will continue to be the worse president the United States has ever had.

Good news, he had others write Executive Orders and Regulations. With time, all these oppressive millstones will be removed. We will soon never know that Stinky was ever in the oval office.

NEW YORK—“I’m spiritual but not religious.” (Snip) Why do people say this? Yes, we know you’re spiritual. Everybody is spiritual. Mafia hitmen are spiritual. We’re all made up of body, soul, and spirit. So why are you telling me about it? Or maybe you mean “spiritual” in the sense of the old “Negro spirituals,” meaning songs about Jesus—but no, we have to rule that one out because that would probably require a choir, which would require a church, which would require something religious. But wait! There’s actually a Wikipedia entry called “Spirituality,” so maybe some spiritual-but-not-religious Ph.D.s from Jonathan Livingston

The narrative that the left has created about President Trump being a racist and the GOP as the home of David Duke can be flipped on its head and used to great electoral advantage, if only Republicans will take full advantage of the opportunity presented by revelations concerning deep ties of key Democrat officials with Louis Farrakhan. Farrakhan´s open and proud hatred of Jews was once again on display two weeks ago, when he delivered his "Saviours´ Day" address, condemning "Satanic Jews" (again). Two members of the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights say the Obama-era school leniency policy that discourages reports of threatening behavior by minority students to law enforcement is dangerous. “Many schools that have adopted lenient disciplinary policies – i.e., defining offenses down so that blacks and Hispanics aren’t suspended or expelled at significantly higher rates than whites and Asians—have seen marked increases in the number and severity of offenses,” attorney Peter Kirsanow, a Republican member of the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights, tells Breitbart News. “St. Paul is just one example, but numerous districts across the country have reported spikes

California’s water regulation agency approved new measures Tuesday that will allow recycled water – water that once ran through the sewers – to be added to the state’s reservoirs, The San Francisco Chronicle reported. The new rules are expected to be implemented by 2023. "This is a type of indirect potable use — it´s not treated recycle water that goes directly to someone´s house," said Miryam Barajas at the Water Board. "It´s highly treated." She says the new regulations could potentially affect all 36 of California’s reservoirs that serve as the main source of the state’s municipal drinking water. The

For years, doctors turned to opioid painkillers as a first-line treatment for chronic back pain and aches in the joints. Even as the dangers of addiction and overdoses became more clear, the drugs´ pain-relieving benefits were still thought to justify their risks. Now researchers have hard data that challenges this view. In the first randomized clinical trial to make a head-to-head comparison between opioids and other kinds of pain medications, patients who took opioids fared no better over the long term than patients who used safer alternatives.
