"Steve Really Hijacked Breitbart": The Right-Wing
Site´s Staff Confronts a Post-Bannon Landscape

Vanity Fair, by Tina Nguyen

The Breitbart Embassy is closed. If anything symbolized the end of an era for the scrappy, youthful crew of Breitbart News, it was the loss of Steve Bannon’s grand Capitol Hill town house. Once the de facto headquarters of Breitbart’s legendary ragers, it had more recently become the decorous nerve center for Bannon’s attempt to do the D.C. power-player thing—fete Washingtonians with Dean & DeLuca canapes and hold them captive with his megalomania. But when Bannon stepped down from Breitbart earlier this week after he seemed unable to outrun the comments he had made about Donald Trump Jr., among other things,

Breitbart is the target of many for its honest, take-no-prisoners reporting.

They were the one breaking the stories about the INVASION taking place on the border while everyone else had their heads in the sand...

The Radio end of things is THRIVING. The reporting is certainly miles ahead and timely while a lot of news sites and agregators put out articles without discussion and analysis.

Bannon may have said things that we insulting to Trump family members who were not elected, and rubbed many the wrong way. He was certainly a THORN in the side of the RINOcrats and DC Establishment who was pretty well OUT OF TOUCH with the pulse of the American conservative base.

With our without Steve, the operation will continue and there are those who do noe want the controversial topics discussed lest they get exposed as frauds.....

With due respect for the Breitbart staff who took over after Andrew died and Bannon´s leadership in that vein, as someone who was "there" when John Nolte first announced a little merger between himself and others at a little blog called Libertas (conservative-in-Hollywood culture) and a dynamic New Media calling itself Big Hollywood, I have to say there is a grain of truth in the title of this piece. There IS an alt-Right: they are the decendents of the John C Calhoun school of ideology (they hate the US Constitution and they scorn conservatives) and because of Bannon, they found a home at Breitbart.

On top of that, Big Hollywood went from being a news site that featured not only the latest cultural movements in Hollywood, but sought out and supported Real Conservative actors/directors/producers who were fighting against the leftist activism of the progressive elites. AND they were seeking out NEW conservative actors/directors/producers that were seeking to find the wedge that would help turn the tide...

...but once Andrew died, it seemed everyone at Breitbart threw that out the window and turned it into a Stand In Line Gossip Rag.

Seriously, as much GOOD as Bannon may have done in his involvement with getting Trump elected (however it is you may want to merit that), Im really looking forward to seeing someone who wants to return Breitbart to the spirit that Andrew established there.

In the era of President Donald Trump, Democrats think presidents should be impeached over policy differences. In Trump´s case, the Democrats accuse him of winning the election by "colluding" with Russia to win. After nearly a year of investigations, there does not appear to be any evidence. Yet many Democrats have already called for impeachment. In truth, Democrats want this President out because they don´t like him or his policies. One of Trump´s major campaign promises was to build a "wall" to protect our southern border. Never mind that, in 2006, 26 Democratic senators -- including Hillary Clinton, then-Sen. Barack Obama and

The first opportunity for a successful end of the Second Civil War, between President Trump and the incumbent political class, has been squandered by the Democrats. Nothing could be done until Senate majority leader Mitch McConnell and Speaker Paul Ryan accepted that they could no longer pretend to be happy neutrals in the mortal combat between Trump and the Democrats in Congress, waiting to see whether Trump would be impeached or not. Trump won the chicken game with his ostensible partisan colleagues in Congress, after the collapse of the Russian-collusion argument based on the spurious Steele dossier commissioned and paid

“It’s pretty embarrassing when you have to take your children out of the room to report the news,” Sen. Lindsey Graham, South Carolina Republican, whined Monday. Mr. Graham, longtime pal of Sen. Both Mr. Trump and the White House said he didn’t say the word, but the media and liberals (along with “Republicans In Name Only” like Mr. Graham) had already gotten their undies in a wad. Last week the Trump administration announced it will allow states to impose a “community engagement” requirement on healthy adults getting Medicaid, the public health insurance program for lower income people. So far, ten states intend to do it, though not welfare-haven New York. To get Medicaid, adults in these states will have to work or look for a job, study for a high school diploma, learn English as a second language, volunteer, get addiction treatment, or take care of a family member. In short, do something. Democrats and the liberal media call the requirement “cruel” and “pathological.” Baloney. There’s no

Hillary Clinton was not a role model

The New York Times dragged out a sanitized version of Hillary Clinton once again, in a lament that she had to expire politically to create an uprising. But people who want to see women advancing in politics should be glad that she lost. Clinton was not a role model, as her model wasn’t available to anyone who hadn’t married a president. A bad politician, she was dependent upon him, and when he turned out to be a chronic seducer and even abuser of women, she was willing to threaten and even destroy his victims to assure his success. The Oprah-for-president endorsements began rolling in even before Oprah Winfrey had finished her rousing Golden Globes speech. Hollywood Democrats loved the idea (Meryl Streep: “I want her to run”). Elected Democrats cheered (Congresswoman Jackie Speier: “Run, Oprah, run!”). Campaign operative Democrats swooned (“Call me,” tweeted the Iowa state director of Barack Obama’s 2012 re-election effort). One key group, however, isn’t buying the hype: actual democratic Democrats, the mostly young, grassroots insurgents who propelled Bernie Sanders in his surprisingly strong 2016 primary bid. Their rejection of Oprah is a preview of the intramural battle that’s beginning to rage again between the pragmatic

The resignation of nine out of 12 National Park System Advisory Board members leaves the federal government without a functioning body to designate national historic or natural landmarks. It also underscores the extent to which federal advisory bodies have become marginalized under the Trump administration. In May 2017, Zinke suspended all outside committees while his staff reviewed their composition and work. In a

By the grace of God, and thanks to our robust and decentralized system of government, the U.S. has survived nearly a year with an unprepared, underinformed, incurious, incontinent narcissist as president. In fact, in some regards, we’ve even thrived during this past year. Still, the president’s character — mostly his colossal self-regard, his lack of self-control, and his unwillingness or inability to learn what he ought — made the year at times aggravating, terrifying, and certainly divisive. Trump hasn’t brought on any catastrophes yet, but he has frayed the nerves of his country. And there’s still three more years of this. I’m sure
