OH MY. Whatever legacy Senator John McCain might have had left, it’s taking a brutal beating with today’s stunning revelations via this report out today: Fusion GPS Admits They Used John McCain to Pass Anti-Trump Dossier to Obama-Era Intel Agencies The founders of the controversial opposition research firm Fusion GPS admitted that they helped the researcher hired to compile the infamous, largely discredited 35-page dossier on President Donald Trump to share the document with Sen. John McCain. The goal of providing the dossier to McCain, the Fusion GPS founders explained, was to pass the information contained in the questionable document

Here´s some interesting background on Christopher Steele. The Daily Mail sells him pretty hard in March 2017.

Cambridge grad and card carrying socialist.

Daily Mail assures readers Steele must have paid sources for such valuable data. We know that is not the case because this dossier and it´s memos were written by Scarlett & Murdochs.

Steele was a front--remember he went into hiding for the first two months of 2017 because the Daily Mail says he feared for his life from the Kremlin/Putin. What....?

I did not like McCain before I even started paying close attention to politics. I was a late bloomer and never even voted until Reagan.
The only thing that made me able to hold my nose and vote for him was Sarah Palin.

I find it interesting that McLame has virtually disappeared since before Christmas. He wasn´t at Trump´s WH meeting on DACD (one of Traitor John´s favorite causes, and he´s been noticeably silent (even after the tax bill passed) for weeks.

Are we being told everything? Who´s representing the voters of AZ?

I was in Viet Nam from ´70 to ´73. Even back then there were whispers of his behavior while a POW.
From RightEdition 02-18-2017:
"-McCain had a unique POW experience. Initially, he was taken to the infamous Hanoi Hilton prison camp, where he was interrogated. By McCain’s own account, after three or four days, he cracked. He promised his Vietnamese captors, “I’ll give you military information if you will take me to the hospital.”His Vietnamese capturers soon realized their POW, John Sidney McCain III, came from a well-bred line of American military elites. McCain’s father, John Jr., and grandfather, John Sr., were both full Admirals."

They broke him.

That was kind of obvious, the way he was in a complete panic after Trump was elected. He knows he has a lot to answer for, and his Daddy is no longer around to save him from the consequences of his arrogant actions.

He also has his own Institute which accepts donations from Soros as well. Sorry Songbird, but you need to pay for what you have done, and what you tried to do.

My guess is McCain is the one who created the Mueller council in hopes his name would never surface. I remember Peter Ducie stopping him in the hallway in the senate to ask about the dossier & his connection, his face turned red & he said very snippy who is bringing this up now... well now we know!!! Was taxpayers $$$ used to send McCain´s puppet to London to pick up this 36 page fake dossier? Taxpayers deserve the answer. Feinstein releases info on the testimony with her selected white outs, McCain tries to destroy Trump ...the senators are soooo phony

Here is the list of McCain´s staff, who are no less culpable in all this. If there was a mechanism to bar these people from further participation in government and strip them of benefits and pensions, it would not be inappropriate. All that can be done is to publicize their names and hope what passes for shame in the beltway swamp causes others to think twice before acting in this fashion.

No surprise here regarding McCain having access to a document funded by HRC and the DNC. It seems to me that he´s had one foot firmly planted on the blue side of the political blue/red boundary line for a long time.

The real surprise for me back then, was Romneys´ speech opposing Trump before he won the nomination saying there was "plenty of evidence that he is a phony and a fraud." It was virulent, impassioned and seemed to come out of nowhere because it was not based upon a personal knowledge of or relationship with DJT. When I first heard that McCain handled the dossier, I could not help but wonder if he shared it with other Washington "insiders and Romney. Still wondering...

Put Lindsay under oath and ask him how much he knows about it and when did he know it and how involved was he.

#51 While I don’t disagree with your observation... What we are talking about is hard evidence of Treason. Foreign agents are on that list so this isn’t your typical partisan/ideological political theater. This is evidence of an attack on our Constitution by parties both foreign and domestic. This attack almost succeeded. Many of us have sworn our lives and put them on the line to defend against that. But that is a perspective the Left won’t understand. They will just see it as matching their vitriol because someone disagrees with their positions.

If McCain had heard anything on a Democrat, he would have ignored it. But anything on Trump, and he doesn´t just sit there, he orders an aide to go to London to pick up the skuttlebutte, then goes to the FBI with it, and expresses his concerns. McCain was not even willing to pick up the phone and call Trump and ask if it was true, before running to the FBI. McCain is not a man anyone would want behind them.

WASHINGTON — Former White House chief strategist Steve Bannon has refused to answer a broad array of queries from the House Intelligence Committee about his time working for President Donald Trump, leading the committee chairman to authorize a subpoena. The developments Tuesday brought to the forefront questions about White House efforts to control what Bannon tells Congress about his time in Trump’s inner circle, and whether Republicans on Capitol Hill would force the issue. The congressional subpoena came the same day The New York Times reported that Bannon, a former far-right media executive and recently scorned Trump adversary, has been

Time, further questioning, and a host of inherent contradictions will eventually bring more sunlight upon the authorship of “The Dossier”. Additionally, how it was used by the DOJ/FBI in gaining FISA-702 query and upstream data surveillance approvals, what the media calls “FISA Warrants”, is soon to reach sunlight. It’s unavoidable. In addition to the absurd claims debunked within the dossier, a significantly under-discussed aspect is the actual authorship. Fusion GPS claims Christopher Steele wrote the memos which were assembled into the “Clinton Dossier”. However, there are numerous mistakes within the documents which no intelligence expert would ever make; including the repeated

There is an interesting dynamic unfolding with White Hats and Black Hats amid the story of how political forces within the DOJ and FBI conspired with Clinton allies in the 2016 presidential election, ie. “The Trump Operation”. [Hi Glenn, Jim, Andy] Back-story – There are two central components: *First, corruption within the DOJ and FBI that included their use of unlawful use of FISA-702 exploits; and *second, how that intelligence information was extracted, passed along to those outside government, repackaged, and reconstituted into the “Steele Dossier”. The finished, albeit sketchy, intelligence was later returned to the FBI to request lawful FISA court

A 30-year-old Thai immigrant was identified Sunday as the 20th victim of the mudslides that have devastated a Southern California community. The Santa Barbara County Sheriff´s Office said Pinit Sutthithepa was found during search and recovery efforts in Montecito Saturday afternoon. The sheriff´s office noted that Sutthithepa´s six-year-old son, Peerawat, and 79-year-old father-in-law, Richard Loring Taylor, were among the victims. The list of those still missing has shrunk to four. According to the sheriff´s office, Sutthithepa´s two-year-old daughter Lydia was among those who are unaccounted for. Twitter’s mission statement is to: “Give everyone the power to create and share ideas and information instantly, without barriers.” On Thursday, Project Veritas released a video showing Twitter engineers boasting their use of “shadowbanning” to curb conservative speech. No amount of “deceptive editing” accusations or “out of context” arguments can contradict the tale of the tape. The engineer lays out, in unedited detail, the process of shadowbanning—which consists of Twitter allowing a post to exist but limiting its reach by hiding it from view, thus ensuring that no engagement occurs. The poster of the tweet will merely think that no one

How do you know you’ve been shadowbanned? You may be tweeting, but you’re no longer being heard. You wonder if maybe people just aren’t interested in what you have to say. But they might be interested. Twitter just isn’t interested in letting them read your messages. Shadowbanning is the censorship that social media companies do in the shadows. It’s cowardly and dishonest. And it’s how the big firms get away with covertly censoring conservatives. (Snip) Or as Olinda Hassan, Twitter’s Policy Manager for Trust and Safety put it, “It´s something we´re working on where we´re trying to get the s___ people not to show

A federal appeals court upheld the state of Tennessee’s 2014 vote in favor of a ballot measure that removed the right to an abortion from the state’s constitution. The Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals has upheld the ballot amendment known as Amendment 1 — which won by a 53 percent margin — by a 3-0 opinion. According to the Tennessean, the measure added language to the state constitution that reads, in part: “Nothing in this Constitution secures or protects a right to abortion.” Eight voters who opposed the measure — including the former chairman of the board of Planned Parenthood — challenged the

In a news cycle full of poverty, war, political intrigue, and all the usual torment, America’s media have wasted valuable time this week debating the value of President Donald Trump’s use of a bad word. (Snip)the left divides the world into “paradises” and “shitholes” all the time, depending on how much money there is to be had in duping apolitical Americans into buying their classifications. In 2010, Sen. Dick Durbin (D-IL) advocated on the Senate floor for ending the process known as “chain migration,” whereby newly naturalized citizens can bring an unlimited number of foreign relatives to the U.S., a term that he now claims insinuates racism. While asking Congress to pass the expansive and failed “DREAM Act” amnesty, which would start by legalizing millions of illegal aliens, Durbin touted the fact that the legislation at the time would have ended chain migration, preventing newly amnestied illegal aliens from bringing their extended family members to the U.S. “The DREAM Act would not allow what is known as

After taking a few potshots at Trump’s alleged “pattern” of bigotry, she unloaded: (Snip)Navarro likely hasn’t given much thought to the implications of what she said, let alone examined her premises. It is curious how close certain seemingly contrary emotions can be. Consider, to take just one example, the feelings of glee and outrage. At first blush, they seem very different. Glee occupies a positive register in the metabolism of human emotions. (Snip) Outrage, on the contrary, is a dour beast. It glowers. It fulminates. It glories in moral indignation, which it eagerly manufactures whenever it is in short supply. WASHINGTON- President Donald Trump relentlessly congratulates himself for the healthy state of the U.S. economy, with its steady growth, low unemployment, busier factories and confident consumers. But in the year since Trump´s inauguration, most analysts tend to agree on this: The economy remains essentially the same sturdy one he inherited from Barack Obama.Growth has picked up, but it´s not yet clear if it can sustain a faster expansion. Hiring and wage growth actually slowed slightly from Obama´s last year in office. Consumers and businesses are much more optimistic, but their spending has yet to move meaningfully higher. A crazed, bug-eyed Cory Booker, junior senator from New Jersey, blasted Department of Homeland Security secretary Kristjen Nielsen during a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing yesterday on immigration. Booker became so unhinged in his staged outrage that he repeatedly threatened Nielsen, with clenched fists pointed in her direction. Equal to Booker´s overt violation of Nielsen´s right to be treated without hostility and intimidation was the deranged content of his tirade. Republicans are slamming Democratic Sen. Cory Booker for “mansplaining” to Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen in a sharp and one-sided exchange Wednesday before a Senate committee. The New Jersey lawmaker blasted Nielsen´s "silence and amnesia" after failing to get the response he sought on her recollection of statements President Trump made in a meeting last week. Booker´s hostile tone prompted Republican National Committee Rapid Response Director Michael Ahrens to invoke the millennial term for males talking down to women.

Three-quarters of the members of a federally chartered board advising the National Park Service abruptly quit Monday night out of frustration that Interior Secretary Ryan Zinke had refused to meet with them or convene a single meeting last year. The resignation of nine out of 12 National Park System Advisory Board members leaves the federal government without a functioning body to designate national historic or natural landmarks. It also underscores the extent to which federal advisory bodies have become marginalized under the Trump administration. In May 2017, Zinke suspended all outside committees while his staff reviewed their composition and work. In a

By the grace of God, and thanks to our robust and decentralized system of government, the U.S. has survived nearly a year with an unprepared, underinformed, incurious, incontinent narcissist as president. In fact, in some regards, we’ve even thrived during this past year. Still, the president’s character — mostly his colossal self-regard, his lack of self-control, and his unwillingness or inability to learn what he ought — made the year at times aggravating, terrifying, and certainly divisive. Trump hasn’t brought on any catastrophes yet, but he has frayed the nerves of his country. And there’s still three more years of this. I’m sure

U.S. Border Patrol has been accused of causing the deaths of hundreds of migrants a year by destroying food and water supplies left for them in the brutal Arizona desert by humanitarian groups. On Wednesday, two humanitarian groups released a report, detailing how they´ve distributed more than 31,000 gallons of water along dangerous migrant paths in the Arizona desert between 2012 and 2015. In that time frame, they say volunteers have found these stashes of food and water destroyed 415 times - or about two times a week on average. ´Through statistical analysis, video evidence, and personal experience, our team has
