Ohio State Treasurer Josh Mandel announced on Friday that he will dissolve his campaign to challenge incumbent Sen. Sherrod Brown (D-OH) due to a family medical issue. Mandel said on Friday, We recently learned that my wife has a health issue that will require my time, attention and presence. In other words, I need to be there. Understanding and dealing with this health issue is more important to me than any political campaign. For as long as that takes, whether it is months or years, it is important that I heed my dad’s advice and be there for my wife

Comments:
I´m so sorry to hear this. Prayers for Mandel´s wife and the family.

I know Josh, and he is a great person, and would have been a great senator. His family comes first right now, but Josh will have a bright future if politics is what he chooses.

We have to support Mike Gibbons for US Senate now. Word is that Kasich might throw his hat in the ring, and nobody we know wants that!

A grieving father´s pain and rage at the loss of his daughter boiled over at the funeral for Florida high school shooting victim Meadow Pollack on Friday. The 18-year-old was among the 17 people shot dead when Nikolas Cruz, 19, opened fire at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, Parkland, on Wednesday. On Friday, the first heartbreaking funerals were held for her and fellow victim Alyssa Alhadeff, 14, at the Star of David Memorial Gardens Chapel in North Lauderdale. Five months later, Cruz pulled the fire alarm at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School and began shooting his former classmates with his AR-15. Other mass shooters and terrorists were similarly on the FBI’s radar
