Iran Protests Expose Mainstream Media
as Reactionary, Not Liberal

PJ Media, by Roger L. Simon

Original Article

Posted By:steveW, 1/4/2018 3:47:14 AM

If you´re a reader exclusively of the New York Times or the Washington Post or HuffPost or a viewer of the networks, MSNBC or CNN, you would assume not a whole lot was going on in Iran -- some relatively minor disturbances surely, but nothing substantial. This, although protests have erupted in over 80 Iranian cities. (Wikipedia only lists 98 in the entire country.) Exceptions exist, of course, but basically it´s almost as if a code of silence were engulfing left-wing media outlets that you would think would be excited by a citizenry liberating -- or even attempting to liberate

Comments:
Reactionaries exposed.

The media is worthless. If it can´t be trusted to report the plain truth about serious matters, it all deserves to wither on the vine and die.

Their hatred of the President is so embedded in their thought processs that they cannot allow him to be on the right side of this issue when their Boy King abandonded the people of Iran. They would rather the Iranian people continue to suffer under this oppressive regime than have them throw off the mad Mullahs who have done nothing but be the biggest sponsor of terror around the world. Yep, they are that deranged. Human rights will take a back seat to their protection of BHO. He is a god to them and, therefore, must be worshipped as infallible.

Is The Media The "Enemy Of The People"?

Traveling on Air Force One to Helsinki, President Trump tweeted that the media was the “enemy of the people”. It wasn’t the first time that he had said or tweeted it. And it never fails to get a rise out of the media. President Trump had referred to the New York Times, CNN and NBC News as “the enemy of the American people” shortly after taking office. At CPAC, soon afterward, he declared, “I called the fake news the enemy of the people, and they are — they are the enemy of the people.” Trump’s comments inspired Washington Post and

Awards shows have always had an emotional element to the winners and losers. The best movie, TV show, song, or production should snare the highest awards, but other factors can’t help but creep in. When an actor is in his or her golden years, for example, they have a sentimental edge over the competition. Or, as in the case of this year’s Best Actor Oscar winner Gary Oldman, a legacy of rock solid performances prior to becoming Winston Churchill in Darkest Hour. Today, there’s another factor threatening to overwhelm the usual standards for the best of the best. How does the nominee factor

A protester waved a, "Everyone welcome" sign outside Blenheim Palace as President Trump arrived to attend a reception with Prime Minister May. She didn´t mean Trump. Everyone but Trump was welcome in the United Kingdom. The left of today are the founders of a new religion called selectivity. Every aspect of the left´s current extreme ideology involves being selective. Selective outrage, selective morality, selective media reporting, selective justice and selective "facts," all have become the "go to" weapons of the radical left. All of the above are becoming vital characteristics one must exemplify if one is going to become a practicing member of this new leftist religious cult. Every member of this leftist religious sect must take a solemn vow to always be selective when it comes to reporting on any kind of news, evidence or

Greg Sargent of the Washington Post, Senator Chuck Schumer, and others on the left are trying to trash President Trump´s Supreme Court nominee, Brett Kavanaugh, in as many ways possible. One of their many lines of attack is that Trump knows that Kavanaugh will let Trump off on any potential legal problems, presumably from Special Counsel Robert Mueller. The first question that Sargent, Schumer and other leftists of this state of mind should be asked is which law Trump broke? What´s more, how would some garden-variety stealing-or-lying charge, whatever it is, somehow make it to the Supreme Court? And more to

The Aspen Ideas Festival has a reputation of being an elitist conclave of liberal academics, journalists, and pundits (with rare exceptions) to pat themselves on the back and how they could work together to advance their left-of-center worldviews. So it was no surprise when the late June gathering held a June 27 panel called “How We Survive Attacks on Journalism” and featured a who’s who from the liberal media. Moderated by NPR’s David Folkenflik, it featured liberal Washington Post columnist Jonathan Capehart (though he wasn’t labeled a liberal), NPR’s Joshua Johnson, MSNBC host/NBC News correspondent Andrea Mitchell, USA Today’s Susan

At the heart of the effort to bring down President Trump were two affairs. Unlike the bizarre lies about Moscow hotel rooms and prostitutes in the Steele dossier that was used by the Clinton campaign and its allies to smear President Trump and generate an investigation against him, these affairs truly took place. And they didn’t just expose the malfeasance of four people, but of a corrupt political culture. The affairs between Peter Strzok and Lisa Page in the FBI, and between Senate Intelligence Committee security director James Wolfe and New York Times reporter Ali Watkins, did more than betray the spouses

One of the incredible stories du jour is the latest phase of the Hawaiian volcano. I have seen that volcano many times. It’s truly amazing. The desolation it can cause is incomprehensible. There are places where you can see immense vistas that have been devastated. Mile after mile of lava poured out of small craters, fissures, and lava tubes down to the ocean. Many places look like a wasteland. Entire subdivisions have been destroyed. Roads, power lines, you name it, so much engulfed by this seemingly random force of nature.
