Companies that recycle cardboard boxes are overwhelmed after record holiday shopping online. The U.S. Postal Service estimated it would deliver 10 percent more packages in 2017 than the year before. Amazon, the leader in online shopping, said it shipped more than five billion items for Prime members in 2017. All of that cardboard is a huge recycling challenge. One after another, a train of trucks unloads at the Burbank Recycle Center near Los Angeles. Natasha Gagarin emptied an SUV packed with empty boxes -- "well over 200," she estimated. As a mom of four, this holiday season was all about convenience."Did

Has anyone noticed that Amazon boxes all seem to be made by International Paper/Georgia Pacific? I should think International Paper would be a good long term investment. Amazon sends out a lot of boxes.

Flatten them and send them back to Amazon! I take mine to the local "Mail Boxes" place. They take them and give them to customers free if they didn´t bring their own box. I know because they offered a Box to me before I knew they would do that.

McCabe waiting for his indictment now

The odds are high that an indictment will be forthcoming for Andrew McCabe. As the ever alert Sundance of Conservative Treehouse points out, the statement on his firing by A.G. Sessions specifically noted that he "lacked candor" (the FBI´s expression for lying) "under oath." After an extensive and fair investigation and according to Department of Justice procedure, the Department´s Office of the Inspector General (OIG) provided its report on allegations of misconduct by Andrew McCabe to the FBI´s Office of Professional Responsibility (OPR). The FBI´s OPR then reviewed the report and underlying documents and issued a disciplinary proposal recommending the

President Donald Trump weighed in on the Justice Department’s decision to fire Deputy FBI Director Andrew McCabe, accusing him of lying and leaking to the media. “The Fake News is beside themselves that McCabe was caught, called out and fired,” Trump observed on Twitter on Saturday afternoon. Trump reminded the public that McCabe’s wife got hundreds of thousands of dollars from “Crooked” Hillary Clinton’s friend, Terry McAuliffe. “How many lies? How many leaks?” Trump asked. “[Former FBI Director] Comey knew it all, and much more!” Trump’s message on Twitter drew an immediate response from the former FBI

On Saturday’s broadcast of CNN’s “Smerconish,” George Washington Law Professor Jonathan Turley stated that former Deputy FBI Director Andrew McCabe’s dismissal and his statement on the firing raise “serious questions about Comey’s previous testimony and could get him into serious trouble.” Turley said, “[T]his could easily spin further out of control. There was one line in McCabe’s statement last night that I immediately flagged. Because he said that he had authority to do this and he conferred with the director. The director at that time was James Comey. Now, the problem there is that James Comey said under oath that

After Page Six reported on Friday that Vanessa Trump hired a “criminal defense attorney” to represent her during her divorce from Donald Trump, Jr., media outlets speculated the move was related to the ongoing Russia probe. The truth was less sensational. “Vanessa Trump has hired a criminal defense attorney to represent her in her divorce from Donald Trump Jr. just as special counsel Robert Mueller subpoenaed the president’s family business,” the Page Six piece began. The story went on to note that Vanessa Trump tapped David Feureisen, a New York-based lawyer

Friday´s firing of FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe by Attorney General Jeff Sessions, based on a report from the Office of Professional Responsibility, is only the beginning of what is likely to be the most explosive series of revelations in American history. Forget Watergate. It will be the distant past once the Inspector General´s reports—there apparently will be more than one—start to come out. This will be the "Gate of Gates." From the FBI and across the intelligence agencies an astonishing number of people are going to find themselves accused, one can safely predict at this point, of some atrocious behavior in
