New Castle police have confirmed a fire at the Clintons´ home in Chappaqua. Police declined to give further details on the fire at 15 Old House Lane where Bill and Hillary Clinton have lived for nearly 20 years after buying it for $1.7 million in 1999. But scanner reports said it was a bedroom fire and has been extinguished. The house, built in 1889, features five bedrooms over 5,232 square feet and a pool on its 1.1 acres. In fall 2016, the former president and past presidential hopeful bought the

Comments:
Did the Clinton cleaning staff cause the fire? You know who I´m talking about -- the same staff who dusted off the servers in the basement. What are they trying to hide now?

Bubba the Horndog fell asleep smoking a cigar next to an intern, maybe?

(Or not. The last few times he´s appeared in public, he´s looked pretty frail... just a shadow of his former hedonistic self.)

When you have to burn as many FBI files as they do, they probably shouldn´t do it in the living room.

The house they bought in 1999? Actually (as I read years ago) McAuliffe, former governor of Virginia, but in 1999 only a successful crook, made the "purchase" possible.

Everything was saved. Except those boxes marked "Clinton Foundation Financial Records" in the basement. Next to the gas cans and other flammable household chemicals.

You keep burning paper all day, the chimney gets very hot and can ignite encrusted sap/creosote.
Makes for a nasty chimney fire, sounds like a jet engine.
If you´re lucky it cleans the chimney - if not you get cracked tiles, and possibility of a house fire.

Chelsea Clinton took inspiration from the Duchess of Cambridge for how to manage the birth of her first child, a new book claims. She and her aides ´studied´ how the British royal family had handled the birth of Prince George in 2013 in order to prepare for her own first baby, who was born a year later. Bill and Hillary Clinton´s only daughter Chelsea, as well as her staff, noted how press was handled and how the Duchess of Cambridge handled herself, and used it as a template for themselves, the book claims. On the domestic and foreign fronts, the Trump administration has prompted economic growth and restored U.S. deterrence. Polls show increased consumer confidence, and in some, Trump himself has gained ground. Yet good news is bad news to the Resistance and its strange continued efforts to stop an elected president in a way it failed to do in the 2016 election. Indeed, the aim of the so-called Resistance to Donald J. Trump is ending Trump’s presidency by any means necessary before the 2020 election. Reid still has hurt feelings about Trump mocking the injuries he sustained when an exercise band he was using at home snapped and hit him in the face. Trump mocked Reid in September 2016 after the Democratic leader commented on Trump’s weight. “[To show] what kind of a person he is, when I injured myself, I couldn’t sleep

Sen. Orrin Hatch, R-Utah, warned President Trump firing special counsel Robert Mueller could lead to impeachment, becoming one of the first congressional Republicans to mention impeachment directly. “Firing Mr. Mueller would be a grave error. NBC poured millions of dollars into “Megyn Kelly Today” and, in return, they’ve been rewarded with a massive drop in viewership. The Peacock network poached Kelly from Fox last year, enticing her from the conservative flagship network with a three-year, $69 million contract, according to the Wall Street Journal. But Kelly’s introduction to NBC, premiering at the 9 a.m. hour in September, was met with almost immediate controversy — a feud with Jane Fonda that the morning show host dragged out for months — and she never drew the viewership that the network was looking for. Her Sunday night newsmagazine show was

Here’s what else we learned from the unexpectedly competitive race to replace Trent Franks, the veteran Republican who resigned in December amid a sexual-misconduct scandal. The unofficial results show a dramatic underperformance by a Republican in the solidly GOP district. That’s a problem for Republicans, who now need to sort through the results to determine how problematic the landscape will be for them in November. Republicans have a 17 percentage point registration advantage in the district. President Donald Trump
