Trump ex-Campaign Chair Manafort sues

Former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort has sued special counsel Robert Mueller, Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, and the U.S. Department of Justice. The suit alleges that Mueller has strayed beyond the scope of the investigation he was authorized to pursue, and argues that the charges filed against Manafort have nothing to do with the 2016 presidential election that spurred Mueller´s appointment. "The actions of DOJ and Mr. Rosenstein in issuing the Appointment Order, and Mr. Mueller´s actions pursuant to the authority the Order granted him, were arbitrary, capricious, and not in accordance with the law," the suit reads. Everything Manafort is alleging has been obvious to everyone from the beginning. I wish I had more confidence in the integrity of our federal judges, but I don´t.

Good! Hopefully, it will keep them tied up for a long time defending themselves. Everyone KNOWS Mueller is WAY beyond Russia. He´s looking for something to nail Trump with and he´s not finding it! You would think he would want to stay retired, with the good name he had before he said yes to taking on this deal. I think already most people don´t think much of him due to the Lawyers he lined up to go after Trump. Time he gets done, he will be viewed as corrupt as the Clintons!

While all this may be true, he doesn´t stand a chance. The order permits him to investigate any matters that "may arise directly from the investigation."

Incoming national security adviser John Bolton is reportedly poised to remove dozens of White House officials when he starts his new job early next month. Among those who will get the boot will be Obama administration holdovers and anyone who isn´t loyal to President Trump, sources told Foreign Policy. “Bolton can and will clean house,” one former White House official was quoted as saying. On Thursday, Trump announced that Bolton would replace H.R. McMaster as head of the National Security Council -- a move that would be effective on April 9. President Donald Trump released an order Friday night banning most transgender troops from serving in military except under "limited circumstances," following up on his calls last year to ban transgender individuals from serving. The White House said retaining troops with a history or diagnosis of "gender dysphoria" — those who may require substantial medical treatment — "presents considerable risk to military effectiveness and lethality." Trump surprised the Pentagon´s leadership in a 2017 tweet when he declared he would reverse an Obama-era plan to allow transgender individuals to serve openly. His push for the ban has been blocked by several legal challenges,

A controversial Obama program that’s reaped enormous amounts of taxpayer money to transform slums into desirable middle-class neighborhoods just got a $5 million infusion from the Trump administration. Known as Choice Neighborhoods, the costly experiment was the centerpiece of a broader Obama initiative to convert poverty-stricken neighborhoods into sustainable, mixed-income areas with affordable housing, safe streets and good schools. It was launched as a collaboration between the departments of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), Education, Justice, Treasury and Health and Human Services (HHS) to help attract private investment necessary to transform distressed areas. During Obama’s tenure Choice Neighborhoods received a breathtaking

CNN’s ubiquitous presence in airports -- where it broadcasts from thousands of screens to a captive audience of millions -- is facing new scrutiny after the cable network´s hard left turn. The CNN Airport network dates back to when CNN was known for straightforward news programming -- and has been a fixture at airports since before competitors MSNBC and Fox News even existed. But critics are now asking if busy travelers should be subjected to CNN’s increasingly ideological programming -- at gates, bars, food courts and baggage claims -- which can include on-screen chyrons or subtitles that gleefully mock President
