Playboy learns the hard way

Playboy heir Cooper Hefner decided to be one of the cool kids this summer, and dumped on Trump. The heir may regret that error of airing a complaint about President Trump.(Snip) Not a bright idea. Playboy as a magazine is on its last legs as a new year begins. From the Daily Mail: Playboy may close down its print magazine in favor of forming profitable partnerships with nightclubs and casinos just months after founder Hugh Hefner´s death. "We want to focus on what we call the World of Playboy," Ben Kohn, a managing partner at private-equity firm Rizvi Traverse, Playboy´s controlling shareholder, told the Wall Street

Comments:
Picked a fight with PDJT over a Trump cover on Playboy published long before Cooper was even a gleam in his father’s eye. Silliness. And now Cooper is leading a failing enterprise. Add him and Playboy to the list of those who found out “Don’t Mess With Donald Trump”…. (listed in article)

Talk about an anachronism. Cooper should save his money and take welding classes.

A neighbor died and in his garage a complete collection of old issues-(minus the monroe, of course) Due to lack of interest they all went into the trash.

Speaking from the experience gained in the 1950´s, Playboy was incredibly popular because it contained nude photos of beautiful women. Back then, about the only alternative was National Geographic magazine.
Today, well, today there´s total saturation of sex in every media. Nothing new that any 10 years old hasn´t see plenty of.

Like the milkman and the ice man, Playboy was great in its day but has outlived its usefulness. For 30 years or more its the closest thing many men, married and single, got to sex.
Now we have the internet. Whatever your wildest fantasy it is available with just a few clicks. Playboy just isn´t relevant anymore and probably never will be again. Its is for reminiscing and collecting. Not much else.

Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer gave a tepid, droning, and utterly unconvincing performance on the Senate floor this morning where he repeatedly inserted the phrase, “the Trump shutdown.” The problem for Mr. Schumer is two-fold: First, very few watched his speech. Yes, CNN, MSNBC, etc., will replay it a few times, but none of those replays will generate as much interest as a single Trump tweet. Second, and this is even more critical, the phrase “Schumer Shutdown” is trending throughout Social Media circles – a development which has Mr. Schumer’s staff increasingly troubled. He doesn’t want to be the one

Despite previous reports that a Canadian billionaire and his wife died in a murder-suicide, a private investigation has reached another conclusion: that Barry and Honey Sherman were allegedly killed in a double-homicide. Barry Sherman, 75 and the CEO of a generic drug company called Apotex, and his philanthropic wife, Honey Sherman, 70, were found dead in their home north of Toronto in December. The CEO was allegedly worth nearly $5 billion at the time of his death, according to the Toronto Star. Shortly after, Toronto police began investigating their deaths as a possible murder-suicide. Now, the Toronto Star is reporting the Shermans may

Our most effective U.S. presidents—and keep in mind, I’m saying “most effective,” not “best”—possessed, to one degree or another, a certain measure of indifference to human life. Whether you’re preserving the Union, inciting a World War, incinerating a couple hundred thousand J*ps, or getting up to some mischief in a Tonkin Gulf, indifference to human life is kind of a must. Reckless indifference is helpful, but depraved indifference? Now, that’s the stuff of presidential legend. (Snip)Oprah is practically defined by her depraved indifference to human life. Word is as many as 200 members of Congress have now reviewed what some are calling a “shaking the foundation of our democracy” memo that links high-placed figures within both the Obama administration, Hillary Clinton campaign, the DNC, Deep State, and Establishment Media in an attempt to subvert the 2016 Election. It was never “Russian Collusion.” It was our own government/the Obama administration/Deep State, attempting to choose the next president – Hillary Clinton. If in fact 200 members of Congress have reviewed the memo and there have been NO LEAKS of that information, that would indicate it is devastating to the Democrats,

It´s no secret that Mitt Romney is, in all likelihood, going to run for a Senate seat in Utah. What´s less clear, however, is why the man who was the 2012 Republican presidential nominee and is now retired and occupying an elder-statesman role in a party torn into warring factions would want to serve as a junior senator.
