Ambassador Nikki Haley said Tuesday that the U.S. is taking its first move to punish the countries that opposed moving its embassy in Israel to Jerusalem. Those countries, it seems, will not be invited to a party America is throwing. “As I said in December, we won’t forget the Jerusalem vote,” Haley, U.S. ambassador to the U.N., said. “To that end, tomorrow night, we are having a reception for the countries who chose not to oppose the U.S. position. This is a great sign of U.S. friendship, and I look forward to tomorrow evening. We hope to see more of

Not much of a price to pay.
The loss of the $24 billion would be a lot more persuasive.

Yes, withholding aid and donation money would hit them a lot harder. This action is like not inviting the unpopular kids to the prom.

Is she serious? Not getting an invitation to a party whose host nation the not invited country despises and chants "Death to America"?
How about an 99% slash in foreign financial aid and a 85% slash in oil, food, medicine, transportation and personnel. Those vile countries may change their tune.

About half the American people do not believe the mainstream media tell the truth. They believe the media are more interested in promoting their left-wing views than reporting the truth. I am, I note with sadness, a member of that half. Here is but one more example: The New York Times best-seller list. As a writer (who, for the record, had a previous book on that list), I have long known it isn´t a best-seller list, and I don´t pay attention to it. But I paid attention last week to see if my recently published book, which opened up on

Diamond and Silk, two of President Trump’s most outspoken and loyal supporters, say the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agency “should go pay” Governor Andrew Cuomo (D) “a visit” so long as he keeps calling himself “an undocumented person.” In a speech this week, Cuomo referred to himself as an illegal alien, saying: I’m an Italian-American, I came from poor Italian-Americans who came here. You know what they called Italian-Americans back in the day? They called them w**s. You know what w** stood for? Without papers. I’m undocumented. You want to deport an undocumented person, start with me, because I’m

Friday on New York City’s WABC 770 AM’s “Bernie and Sid in the Morning,” NBC’s “Meet the Press” host Chuck Todd criticized Fox News for not taking action against host Sean Hannity when he did not disclose he was a client of Trump’s attorney Michael Cohen while commenting on the FBI raids on Cohen’s office. Todd said, “Sean Hannity can do what he wants to do, but I’m surprised Fox isn’t making him, at a minimum, disclose a conflict every time he talks about this.” Todd then denounced a post on Hannity’s website, “The Utter Hypocrisy of Chuck Todd,” which

Rush Limbaugh on his April 19 show said the important news in the report of Inspector General Horowitz´s report is the August 12, 2016 call to McCabe from the Obama DOJ regarding the Clinton Foundation investigation. Limbaugh believes that it was Sally Yates, of the Obama DOJ, who called McCabe to tell him they were "concerned" about the investigation. Horowitz found that McCabe lacked candor in describing how he authorized his in-house FBI special counsel (not Mueller) to reveal the phone call to Wall Street Journal reporter Devlin Barrett. By doing so, McCabe confirmed there was an FBI investigation of

First-term Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA) is emerging as a Democratic presidential contender in 2020. However, according to Politico, her own voters in California do not really know much about her. In an article titled “Kamala Harris’ rapid rise confounds California,” Politico’s David Siders writes: Kamala Harris has been called “the female Barack Obama.” She’s built a national following with her outspoken criticism of Donald Trump and prolific fundraising for fellow Democrats. But the California senator’s rapid rise — she’s just 15 months into her first term — has created an awkward issue: Even as progressives tout her as one of

A Fresno State professor who called the late Barbara Bush “racist” soon after her death Tuesday, and said she was glad “the witch is dead,” continues to face fallout as donors mull ceasing donations to the institution. Randa Jarrar, an English professor at the school (also known as California State University at Fresno), sparked outrage Tuesday just hours after the former first lady died at age 92, writing a number of tweets attacking Bush and the family. “Barbara Bush was a generous and smart and amazing racist who, along with her husband, raised a war criminal. The Democratic National Committee filed a multimillion-dollar lawsuit Friday against the Russian government, the Trump campaign and the WikiLeaks organization alleging a far-reaching conspiracy to disrupt the 2016 campaign and tilt the election to Donald Trump. The complaint, filed in federal district court in Manhattan, alleges that top Trump campaign officials conspired with the Russian government and its military spy agency to hurt Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton and help Trump by hacking the computer networks of the Democratic Party and disseminating stolen material found there. “During the 2016 presidential campaign, Russia launched an all-out assault on our democracy, and it found

In an article by “The Editors of GQ,” the men’s magazine blasts the Holy Bible, declares it a book you don’t have to read, and suggests an alternative. In its April 19 article, “21 Books You Don’t Have to Read” (originally, "21 Books You Don´t Have to Read Before You Die"), Gentlemen’s Quarterly (GQ) trashes 20 books (“Huckleberry Finn” is counted twice, for some reason) it deems undeserving of their literary stature: “[N]ot all the Great Books have aged well. Attorney General Jeff Sessions recently told the White House he might have to leave his job if President Trump fired his deputy, Rod J. Rosenstein, who oversees the investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election, according to people familiar with the exchange. Sessions made his position known in a phone call to White House counsel Donald McGahn last weekend, as Trump’s fury at Rosenstein peaked after the deputy attorney general approved the FBI’s raid April 9 on the president’s personal attorney Michael Cohen. Sessions’s message to the White House, which has not previously been reported, underscores the political firestorm

The past 12 hours brought two very big revelations involving former FBI director James B. Comey, President Trump and the Russia investigation, and they must be looked at side by side to fully grasp their collective importance. Comey’s memos of his conversations with Trump have leaked in full. This came after Republicans threatened to subpoena them from Deputy Attorney General Rod J. Rosenstein, leading him to release them to Congress. Comey confirmed to Rachel Maddow that before getting fired, he ordered an internal investigation into whether Trump surrogate Rudy Giuliani had been privately tipped off by people in the FBI two weeks

Roger Stone, a former adviser to President Trump, lost an invitation to speak at a Florida Republican group´s annual dinner due to negative remarks he made about former first lady Barbara Bush. The Okaloosa Republican Executive Committee "uninvited" Stone over comments he made to the right-wing conspiratorial website InfoWars about Bush, who died Tuesday. "I understand I´m going to take a lot of crap for speaking the truth about Barbara Bush," Stone said in an interview with InfoWars host Alex Jones. "She was a mean-spirited, vindictive drunk. A California school district says that parents can’t opt out of a new sex education course that will deal with abortion, homosexuality and transgender issues. California passed a law called the California Healthy Youth Act in 2015 to promote “healthy attitudes” about “gender [and] sexual orientation.” The law is meant to teach students about the “effectiveness and safety of all FDA-approved contraceptive methods” and allow for “objective discussion” about “parenting, adoption, and abortion.” The law also gives parents the ability to opt-out of this education and said that the “pupil” shall not be punished academically in any way if they don’t

But I think it is important that we understand the degree of oppression we are up against. I regret to say: I have been silenced. I expressed an opinion, and people criticized that opinion. And since that day, my voice has never been heard again. I am entombed where none can hear my jangling bells, for doing nothing more than walking down the street, saying that women who get abortions
