Deadline Tomorrow For FBI To Turn Over Documents To Intel Chairman Nunes…

Tomorrow, January 3rd, is the deadline presented by House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes for the FBI to turn over responsive documents, their field agent investigative notes and contact summaries. The FBI Counterintelligence Division began an official investigation on/around July 15th, 2016. The target of the investigation was the Donald Trump campaign. The FBI has refused to answer questions or allow investigative oversight toward the origin of their endeavor. Numerous leaks from the FBI imply the leadership is attempting to shape the narrative surrounding the origin. Suspicions are high.

Comments: Katie Pavlich’s headline (see MRs) had it wrong. The deadline in Nunes’s letter was January 3. That’s tomorrow. We should take each day at a time lest we waste a lot of energy on erroneous reports of incorrect deadlines and unnecessary rants. The necessary ones are bad enough!
That said, this article contains a video of an interview with Ron DeSantis on Fox. He is always worth a look/listen.

Bet my bottom dollar that the deadline will come and go. The deep state is well entrenched. Their very survival is at stake. What did you think was going to happen?

#1 has the most likely outcome or they will show up and everything important is redacted. Same result. What will come of it? A strongly worded letter = nothing! These DOJ/FBI seditionists aren’t worried about Congress they have the protection of the swamp.

I doubt they´ll be turned over. However that plays in to President Trump´s hand. The President loves to watch his enemies self-destruct in a very public way. If Trump had sent Sessions in with warrants and SWAT teams like many keep screaming for, he would have been impeached and removed from office by Aug. 1. If you think McPain, Corker Flake and the rest wouldn´t have joined Schumer in the neck-tie party, you probably believe that Bill Nye is a science guy.

The big question is; Can a bureaucracy get away with defying congress? If they can, we no longer have a Constitutional Republic. Our entire system of laws become meaningless. We speak often of a ´Constitutional crisis´ but I do not think we have ever heard of one as important as this one.

If they don´t turn it over, they are in contempt of Congress. Someone will have to answer for it, and likely the SCOTUS won´t side with the FBI on this one.
Congress has oversight, and therefore the ability to direct the agency.
Of course, they won´t turn it over, and it will implicate that they have something to hide, and play into Trump´s hand.

I thought the new FBI (federal bureau of idiots) ´director´ is Christopher Wray. He has no control over this??? Is he implicated as well? He certainly looks and acts like an Obamination holdover. The person who recommended him to Trump should be publicly flogged! We pay for this bureau, perhaps our tax dollars should be withheld just as long as they stalled. After all, their huge pensions come out of our dimes!

Meanwhile President Trump is governing.

Wray can´t grab a cleared archivist and have him cough up all the drives in several days?
Who is obstructing?

IG is putting all this together into a neat, leakproof, escape proof package with enough solid proof so as to be completely ready for prosecution, as we read this. I suspect that CTH is connected somehow into the investigation and is the designated unofficial source to get this info out into public, drip by drip so it isn´t a total shock. Soon it will be released officially and publicly and they will all be indicted.
The only weak point appears to be Gowdy, who is apparently one of the Black Hats, pretending to investigate Hellary, talking tough, but nothing every happening. Gowdy will be trying to shut this down, mark that down and watch him dance to the Black Hat/NeverTrump tune.
Biggest criminal conspiracy ever in this country. I sure hope that they can shut this down and severely punish all of them. The stability and good of the country is at risk here.

I am sure the contempt of congress citation will move ahead if the deadline comes and goes. I hope the citation will include a call on the President to fire those in contempt, Wray included. When Trump does this, the left will go berserk. That pain-in-the-A CNN reporter will go nuts. Trump will be shielded because he is simply acting out what Congress has prescribed. What a great start for 2018. Happy New Year All.

Chaffetz is so out of the loop now that he is useless to Fox/Disney. The other day I watched a bit of him repeating conjecture, speculation and I don’t know, but…. over and over and over. He was utterly useless for his time on camera.

If the President and AG cannot effectively order compliance, we have reached a constitutional crisis. Congress must reauthorize a special prosecutor who can seek a court order. A judge will not be defied. People will comply, go to jail and/or be personally bankrupted by daily fines.

Andrew McCabe — who was fired as FBI deputy director last month — hit back at former FBI Director James Comey, saying he was not telling the truth in an interview earlier Wednesday. “Comey has relied on the accuracy and the soundness of the Office of the Inspector General´s (OIG) conclusions in their report on Mr. McCabe. In fact, the report fails to adequately address the evidence (including sworn testimony) and documents that prove that Mr. McCabe advised Director Comey repeatedly that he was working with the Wall Street Journal on the stories in question prior to publication,” said Michael Bromwich,

Former FBI Director James Comey said in a wide-ranging CNN interview Thursday that he could potentially be a witness against the FBI´s former number two. His comments on CNN´s "The Lead with Jake Tapper" came after CNN reported that the Justice Department´s inspector general referred its findings on Andrew McCabe, the former FBI deputy director, to the US attorney´s office in Washington for possible criminal charges associated with lying to internal investigators. Asked if he could end up being a witness, Comey said, "Potentially." "Sure, given that the IG´s report reflects interactions that Andy McCabe had with me and other

The Justice Department on Thursday turned over to congressional committees a closely guarded set of memos that former FBI Director James Comey wrote recounting his conversations with President Donald Trump. In a letter to three top Republican House chairmen, Assistant Attorney General Stephen Boyd said the department decided to provide lawmakers with the memos now because of "unusual events occurring since the previous limited disclosure." "The Department has consulted the relevant parties and concluded that the release of the memoranda to Congress at this time would not adversely impact any ongoing investigation or other confidentiality interests of the Executive Branch,"

A poll by the Public Religion Research Institute shows that support for President Trump among white evangelicals has hit a record high of 75 percent. Only 22 percent view the president unfavorably. The Hill reports that the “president’s favorability with white evangelicals in the poll has steadily risen over time, with his previous high being at 74 percent in February 2017.” At one point this year, though, that number sat at just 68 percent. In this same poll, among the general public, Trump’s job approval number sits at 42 percent, a five point jump since January. One key take away from this poll is

House lawmakers on Tuesday approved a last-minute amendment to remove $250,000 allocated to the city of Memphis as punishment for the removal of Confederate monuments. The amendment, which was approved with a 56-31 vote, was introduced as a result of Memphis officials’ decision to remove two controversial statues on public property last year. After being denied a waiver by the state Historical Commission to remove the statues, Memphis sold two public parks in December to a nonprofit, which then removed statues of Confederate Gen. Former FBI Director James B. He has been a lifelong Republican and said that in today’s party, the only Republican he does respect is former 2012 presidential nominee Mitt Romney. Washington - Dozens of Democratic U.S. Senators on Wednesday introduced a resolution calling for Environmental Protection Agency chief Scott Pruitt to resign on allegations of ethics lapses. Those relate to the agency’s purchase of a $43,000 sound booth for his office and spending on travel and security. The resolution was signed by 39 senators in the 100-member Senate, which is controlled by Pruitt’s fellow Republicans. Although Republicans can defeat it, the resolution is symbolically important because it represents the most senators ever to call for a Cabinet member’s ouster in resolution, its sponsors said.
