Trump accuses Obama

President Trump kicked off the new year praising the people of Iran for “acting against” the regime, while accusing former President Barack Obama of helping Tehran fund “terrorism.” The spending on terror and proxy wars is part of what demonstrators are protesting. “The people of Iran are finally acting against the brutal and corrupt Iranian regime. All of the money that President Obama so foolishly gave them went into terrorism and into their ‘pockets.’ The people have little food, big inflation and no human rights. The U.S. is watching!” Trump tweeted early Tuesday. As Trump voices support for the protesters,

Trump and Hillary are responsible for ISIS. I believe they wanted ISIS. Hillary killed Gaddafi(who was making progress to become allies with the west) either intentionally to support radical Islam(she was surrounded by radical Islam supporters) or because she was still rooted in the 1980´s and didn´t observe he had changed. And Obama wanted the Muslim Brotherhood running Egypt. And he funded the radicals in Iran and funded the opposition to the radicals in Syria.
All that and some people still try to say Obama was not a supporter of radical Islam.

The Ninth Circuit Protects Gun

Every now and then the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals — arguably the nation’s most progressive federal circuit — can offer up a legal surprise. Yesterday, it gave us a legal shock, when a divided panel of its judges affirmed last year’s federal district-court injunction temporarily blocking enforcement of California’s confiscatory ban on so-called large-capacity magazines. Under California law, any person who possesses a legally purchased magazine capable of holding more than ten rounds of ammunition must either remove the magazine from the state, sell it to a licensed firearm dealer, or hand it over to law enforcement. Those citizens

One needs to walk only a block or two in any direction in America’s largest metropolis to witness the borderline dystopian cesspool that New York City has become. Litter. Garbage. Filth. Homeless people are camped on sidewalks, benches, and storefronts. Drug addicts casually light up and shoot up al fresco. Blaring taxi and limousine horns pierce the air at all hours of the day and night. Bicycles speed the wrong way on one-way thoroughfares (often through red lights), weave through moving traffic, menace pedestrians, and mock the taxpayer-funded Vision Zero street-safety boondoggle. Young Republicans say Uber

The ridesharing company Uber says it is investigating a case in which young Republicans were abandoned at a gas station and told, “Welcome to the resistance.” Chris Godbey, executive director of the Young Republicans National Federation, and his peers said they were abruptly told to exit an Uber driver’s car over the weekend after an event near Raleigh, North Carolina. The reason: an anti-Trump “resistance” driver wanted to deliver a message. “About halfway through the trip our driver said he needed to stop and get gas,” said Mary Russell, a federation volunteer, the Daily Caller reported Monday. “Then he quickly

Congratulations to President Trump on his decision to nominate D.C. Circuit judge Brett M. Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court. I very much look forward to Justice Kavanaugh. Judge Kavanaugh, 53 years old, has compiled an outstanding record during his twelve years on the federal court of appeals in D.C. On what is commonly regarded as the second-most-important court in the country, he has confronted a vast array of consequential constitutional and statutory issues and has written strong, influential opinions. His positions in numerous dissents were later adopted by Supreme Court majorities. Judge Kavanaugh has been selected to fill the seat

And that is why I hope White House counsel Don McGahn is hanging a sign for all to see: “It’s the list, stupid.” Over the next week, the White House will come under incredible pressure from the news media, the Democrats and

Confidence that African Americans, Asians and Hispanics have in their personal finances improving over the next four years should be enough to help GOP leaders retain control of Congress in the midterm elections and reelect President Trump, according to a new survey. While generally not fans of the president, the three key groups have a good feeling about their future and that should temper their concerns at the polls, said the survey from Zogby Analytics. “Even though President Trump receives little support from these groups, things might be going just good enough economically that he can scrap enough support from

What is it about Texas, anyhow? That is the question that catches our attention in the Supreme Court’s decision vindicating the Lone Star State on redistricting. The Nine overruled a lower court that had found that the legislature that promulgated new electoral maps was tainted by an “intent” to discriminate against Latinos. Yet for such a finding, the Justices decided (by a vote of five to four), the lower courts failed to meet the burden of proof. That’s a serious failure. The thing that gets us, though, is the cause of the redistricting in the first place. The Nine noted

The New York Times seemed puzzled by the Republican reaction to the Resistance. Instead of serving as a wedge between President Trump and the party, the Resistance serves as an adhesive. Liberals also may be surprised to learn the Resistance is a turn off for their supporters as well. In its story on the Resistance bonding Republicans with President Trump, the Times used a stereotype to show its befuddlement. "Gina Anders knows the feeling well by now. President Trump says or does something that triggers a spasm of outrage. She doesn’t necessarily agree with how he handled the situation. She

This CBS News Battleground Tracker poll is interesting, for a number of reasons. It was large, sampling over 2,000 Americans (not registered voters), it was taken at the height of the “separated children” hysteria (June 21-22), and cross tabs are supplied. Given the timing of the survey, the results are mostly reassuring for Republicans. The Democrats’ generic ballot advantage is only four points–and again, respondents aren’t even registered voters, let alone likely voters. And despite the press’s coordinated effort to whip up hysteria over the separated children issue, check out this finding: Do you approve or disapprove of how Donald

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. — Three-year-old twins Zyler and Kadyn Sharpe scurried around the boys and girls clothing racks of a narrow consignment store filled with toys. Zyler, wearing rainbow leggings, scrutinized a pair of hot-pink-and-purple sneakers. Kadyn, in a T-Rex shirt, fixated on a musical cube that flashed colorful lights. At a glance, the only discernible difference between these fraternal twins is their hair — Zyler’s is brown and Kadyn’s is blond. Is Zyler a boy or a girl? How about Kadyn? That’s a question their parents, Nate and Julia Sharpe, say only the twins can decide. The Cambridge, Mass., couple

President Trump’s longtime lawyer, Michael D. The Justice Department is investigating Mr. Cohen’s involvement in paying women to tamp down embarrassing news stories about Mr. Trump ahead of the 2016 election. Since her surprise primary victory over 10-term Congressman Joe Crowley in New York’s 14th District, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has been promoted by the media as the prototype of a new generation of young progressives destined to replace the leadership of the Democratic Party. Unfortunately for her media boosters, however, she keeps blowing her lines. It’s not just her rote advocacy of single-payer healthcare and guaranteed government jobs, or even that she backs wacky ideas like abolishing ICE and occupying airports — Ocasio-Cortez is genuinely clueless. She outed herself, in several recent interviews, as functionally illiterate in economics, international relations, and history.

At one point during Peter Strzok´s congressional testimony last week, Rep. Beating your wife is worse than protesting during the national anthem. So, too, is sexually assaulting a woman. While that might seem obvious, it needs to be clarified given The Associated Press´ report Thursday that the Miami Dolphins are now including protesting during the anthem on their list of "conduct detrimental to the club." Under NFL rules, that´s an offense punishable by a suspension of up to four games. The Dolphins later told the AP that "all options are still open." But to give you an idea of how heinous at least one NFL team sees trying to draw attention to racial and economic inequality, a four-game suspension is
