Sources: Chris Matthews Runs
An Abusive Work Environment

Daily Caller, by Amber Athey

Original Article

MSNBC Host Chris Matthews runs an at times openly derisive and brazenly sexist news operation that has led at least some staffers to describe themselves as victims of “battered wives syndrome,” according to three of his show’s guests and two former producers who spoke exclusively to The Daily Caller. Two former NBC producers independently alleged Matthews would rate the looks of his female guests on a scale and said Matthews was so abusive that staff joked about being battered women. The interviews in total paint Matthews as a tyrant liable to fly off the handle at the slightest mistake, who was

The Left is a ´Bonfire of the Vanities´.

When will academia pull it´s head out ?

Look how far "Science" has fallen.

The ´Arts´ can be forgiven as they admit to living in Fantasy-land.

"Archie Bunker" was the poster child for evil conservatives who refused to listen to any dissenting opinion.....yet the Left has used it´s official authority to trample free speech on a wholesale basis....and never looked back.

Who are the truly narrow-minded ?

We knew Chrissy was nuts even before his "Thrill up the leg" comment about Obama. MSNBC is a collector paradise for liberal nut cases. CNN is another one. Why do liberals have to be so crazy? Because their ideas do not work in a conservative population like here in the US. But, that does not stop these idiots from trying. I´m kind of grateful this is the case. It puts a bell on these crazy people and also shows how healthy the Republic is for the crazies like Chrissy being considered by so many to be nuts.

Remember when Matthews subbed for Limbaugh?

During the Clinton-Lewinsky days and CM was openly critical of POTUS for damaging the Dem brand.

Matthews had worked on the Hill and talked of Republican Congresspeople coming to work, greeting the security people and knowing their names. The Dims would ignore them or be openly hostile.

Others have told similar stories. Somewhere along the way CM lost the plot and became what he apparently hated. Back at ya, sheethead.

Many years ago, I remember one time when Chris had his wife on his show. At the time she was with the local NBC affiliate in DC. His abusive streak was displayed when he snapped ugly at her right on the air. His nasty remark towards her gave me an uncomfortable and lasting impression about him. Yeah, I can totally understand his female staff´s claim with the batter wives syndrome tag.

Matthews has always been an Ass, grade A, so none of this is a surprise. But I also think this targeting (and I am female) or any and all (e.g. Jeffrey Tambor, which is ridiculous) is getting way out of hand. BUT I also think someone like Matthews, in a position of power and with the mentality of a teenaged boy, presents a real problem to women who want careers.

He is just an obnoxious man who listens to nobody but himself, and if the women on the staff (and I´ll bet the men as well) can´t deal with him they should look elsewhere---unless there is some prestige involved with having worked for him on the resume.

Norm Macdonald, in addition to being the best Weekend Update anchor ever, is also a keen student of human nature. Last year he summed up the results of the 2016 presidential election with this koan-like observation: "People hated Hillary Clinton so much that they voted for someone they hated more than Hillary Clinton in order to rub it in." I really think that sums up our current moment. A lot of people, myself included, underestimated just how tired of Hillary everyone was. President Trump, apparently, is open to rejoining the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP). Yes, that TPP, the same multilateral trade deal that Trump savaged during the 2016 presidential campaign and withdrew the United States from in the early days of his administration. Last week, during a meeting with farm-state lawmakers, the president said his administration would revisit the deal and instructed advisers to look into the matter. Of course, it’s hard to know whether to take the overture seriously. Tuesday night, Trump threw cold water on the idea via Twitter, expressing a preference for bilateral trade deals. Regardless, rejoining the TPP is a

It’s a pretty safe bet that, with the possible exception of former First Lady Barbara Bush, the two private citizens who most dominated the legacy news media this week were Southwest pilot Tammie Jo Shults and former FBI director James Comey. Both have occupied positions of trust for decades, but it’s pretty clear that only one is actually trustworthy. In a victory for the longstanding Wall Street "Charging Bull" statute, New York City Hall announced the "Fearless Girl" statue will soon move to a new location three blocks away. "Fearless Girl" was commissioned by the investment firm State Street Global Advisors to advertise an index fund. In March 2017, it was placed in front of the iconic bull statute, a piece of guerrilla art celebrating American entrepreneurship created by Italian immigrant and Free Beacon Man of the Year Arturo Di Modica. The statute immediately went viral as a feminist icon, with the bull being recast as a symbol of the patriarchy.

Twenty-five years ago today, FBI tanks smashed into the ramshackle home of the Branch Davidians outside Waco, Texas. After the FBI collapsed much of the building atop the residents, a fire erupted and 76 corpses were dug out of the rubble. Unfortunately, the American political system and media have never faced the lessons from that tragic 1993 day. Fifty-one days before the FBI final assault, scores of federal Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms agents launched an attack on the Davidians’ home spurred by allegations that they had converted semi-automatic rifles to full-automatic capacity. James Comey´s extended book tour isn´t only rattling President Trump. It´s also inducing a bit of post-traumatic stress disorder among Democrats, many of whom consider the fired FBI director the villain of the 2016 election. Comey´s near-omnipresence on the air and online to promote the release of “A Higher Loyalty” complicates, if not undermines, Democrats’ effort to capitalize on the feud between the president and the nation´s former top law enforcement official. On one hand, they are still seething over Comey´s decision to issue a scathing indictment of Hillary Clinton´s judgment during a July 2016 press conference to announce the FBI would

A California school district says that parents can’t opt out of a new sex education course that will deal with abortion, homosexuality and transgender issues. California passed a law called the California Healthy Youth Act in 2015 to promote “healthy attitudes” about “gender [and] sexual orientation.” The law is meant to teach students about the “effectiveness and safety of all FDA-approved contraceptive methods” and allow for “objective discussion” about “parenting, adoption, and abortion.” The law also gives parents the ability to opt-out of this education and said that the “pupil” shall not be punished academically in any way if they don’t
