It’s that time of the year when media outlets write up the people and trends who defined the year while ignoring the man who redefined it. 2017 was the year that the United States of America got up off its knees. It was the year that we stopped following the world and started leading it. It was the year that our booming economy accomplished the impossible. It was the year that we became a great nation again. And one man is responsible for that. President Trump promised to make America great again. And every day, it’s happening. Factory workers and small businessmen, farmers
I´m seeing more and more stories with Obama trying to horn in on Trump´s success stories. You really have to be snorting 5 pound cans of LSD to believe this crap. Obama, being t commie at heart, hates capitalism and thinks people in this country are too stupid to be left on their own without careful government guidance.Sadly this is the case for people who have surrendered themselves to the benevolence of the compassionate liberal pseudo step parents to get through life. The left doesn´t mind throw away people as long at they know which lever to pull on election day.Trump wats to lift everyone up through their own industry and hard work.
My wish for the new year, which would be the icing on the cake, would be that the GOPe realizes that winning and governing is actually preferable to losing and simply sniping from the sidelines. Maybe the tax bill will be their road to Damascus moment. Is that too much to hope for?
Just a small side note, notice how they never mention he donates his salary to get causes? He works for FREE. And he stays at his own places he owns? Unlike all the Dems, like the Clinton´s and Obama´s who are basically grifters.
A hallmark of the Democrats – and the Clintons in particular – is that, with the aid of a complaisant press, they hide their wrongdoings with countless obfuscations and distractions so that the truth of consequential matters is buried in chaff and hard to see. This week, we can look forward to an effort to clear away the chaff and reveal the wheat. Tomorrow, we expect the Department of Justice´s inspector general to release the first part of his report to congressional investigators. The report is expected to cover the alleged bias and malfeasance by the FBI, among other things.
Journalist Kimberley A. Strassel is one of the few mainstream journalists writing about the collaborative 2016 DOJ/FBI “Trump Operation” with a sense of what is to come. Strassel likely understands where the story is going, and appears to have a solid grasp on the evidence trail, yet necessarily writes cautiously – the stakes are indeed quite high. Today Strassel writes about the need for the Democrats to rehabilitate the Steele Dossier because the alternative origin, the truthful origin to the counterintelligence operation over the campaign of candidate Donald Trump, is a stunning political risk.
In President Donald Trump era, Hollywood has become more political and less entertaining, while Washington, D.C., has become more entertaining and less political. The theme of this year´s Golden Globes awards show was "Time´s Up," the movement to salute the women who have come forward to tell their stories of sexual abuse, assault or harassment in the workplace. Actress Reese Witherspoon said, "I want to thank everyone who broke their silence this year and spoke up about abuse and harassment. You are so brave. ... So people out there who are feeling silenced by harassment, discrimination, abuse: Time is up.
In October, 125 psychologists and assorted mental health professionals marched to New York’s City Hall while wearing red tags warning, “DANGER.” Leading the march was Peter Fraenkel, author of Sync Your Relationship, Save Your Marriage, mournfully beating a drum in a solemn march. Fraenkel, a psychologist and “professional drummer” was able to combine his love of drums and hatred of Trump. The ‘Duty to Warn’ march had begun at New York Law School where the experts demanded that Trump be removed from office based on their inability to understand the 25th Amendment. And then the mental health experts marched to the
NSA Director Admiral Mike Rogers has announced to his staff he is resigning. A nominee will be announced to replace him shortly. Rogers departure makes sense. His incredible accomplishments are complete; he will now be free to testify, unencumbered, to congress. Intelligence information is housed by compartments within the larger intelligence community network. Each intelligence unit holds intelligence unique to that compartment and task. The FBI Counterintelligence unit would hold the intelligence information specific to their task or assignment; the DOJ National Security Division would hold their own compartmented intelligence; again, specific to their task and objectives. So too would the DoD
CNN’s Jake Tapper cut off top White House adviser Stephen Miller on Sunday during a contentious interview on State of the Union. Tapper accused Miller of “[wasting] enough of my viewers’ time” by slamming CNN’s coverage of the Trump White House instead of answering questions directly. “There’s one viewer that you care about right now and you’re being obsequious,” Tapper told Miller, referring to President Donald Trump. The sit-down centered mostly on the claims made by former White House chief strategist Steve Bannon in Michael Wolff’s new book, Fire and Fury. “It’s tragic and unfortunate that Steve would make these
Notice something missing recently? “Leaks”. The House Intelligence Committee now has the bank records of Fusion-GPS. They were turned over Friday after a federal judge on Thursday shot-down a last-ditch effort by attorneys from Fusion to get an emergency injunction. Chairman Devin Nunes and the House Intelligence Committee now have the records of payments made by Fusion-GPS to “journalists and media companies” during 2016 and early 2017 when Glenn Simpson, Mary Jacoby and Peter Fritsch were shopping the Christopher Steele ‘Russian dossier’ to enhance the “Insurance Policy”.
The new year began with a bang as the long stalled congressional investigations of the top FBI and Department of Justice officials and Fusion GPS begin to see daylight and the Clinton Foundation slush fund investigation resumed, this time with greater probity than the former top officials at the FBI and DOJ permitted. Congressman Devin Nunes, chairman of the House Select Committee on Intelligence, and Judiciary chairman Senator Chuck Grassley (along with Judiciary member Lindsey Graham) fired the first salvos of the year. Devin Nunes Chairman Nunes demanded and got from the long stonewalling FBI and DOJ the FD-302s and FD-1023s relating to
Several stories broke yesterday: Senator Ron Johnson gains copies of the manipulated/edited FBI small group “talking points” that exonerated Hillary Clinton despite overwhelming evidence. Johnson is a Senate Judiciary Committee member and remains focused on those specifics. Senator Chuck Grassley has identified that former FBI Director James Comey leaked classified FBI information to the media to gain political leverage. Additional questions are now raised by the Senate Judiciary Chairman. The FBI has begun a new review of the Clinton Foundation pay-to-play network during Hillary Clinton’s tenure at the State Dept. Investigators are questioning the people within the Clinton foundation about
If you´re a reader exclusively of the New York Times or the Washington Post or HuffPost or a viewer of the networks, MSNBC or CNN, you would assume not a whole lot was going on in Iran -- some relatively minor disturbances surely, but nothing substantial. This, although protests have erupted in over 80 Iranian cities. (Wikipedia only lists 98 in the entire country.) Exceptions exist, of course, but basically it´s almost as if a code of silence were engulfing left-wing media outlets that you would think would be excited by a citizenry liberating -- or even attempting to liberate
Months before the protests that are shaking the Islamic Republic of Iran began, President Trump stood before the entire world at the United Nations and boldly declared that the terror regime would fall. “The good people of Iran want change, and, other than the vast military power of the United States, that Iran’s people are what their leaders fear the most,” he correctly predicted. As another day of protests begins, as the Islamist thugs of the IRGC face a choice between an outraged populace and a failing regime, his words in that September speech ring truer than ever. “The longest-suffering victims of Iran’s
Everyone suspected the sketchy Steele Dossier was what corrupt FBI and DOJ officials used to get the October 2016 FISA warrant against Trump. FBI and DOJ officials refuse to answer that question publicly. Despite a hundred different ways congressional investigators have asked the question, and despite numerous on-camera questions to FBI and DOJ officials about the 2016 FISA process, no-one had definitively confirmed the Christopher Steele ‘Russian Dossier’ was the underlying evidence for the 2016 FISA application to gain wiretaps and electronic surveillance upon presidential candidate Donald Trump.
Michelle Obama and her eldest daughter Malia made a rare appearance in swimsuits as they are enjoying the sun in Miami. The mother and 19-year-old daughter were spotted walking off Miami Beach on Saturday surrounded by friends - including former Obama administration senior advisor Valerie Jarrett - and Secret Service personnel.Michelle, 53, looked sensational in a white bikini top matched with high-waisted white denim cut-off shorts as she trudged her way barefoot through the sand, holding her shoes in one hand.
Mitt Romney took a swipe at Donald Trump on Monday, condemning the crude comments the president was said to have made about Haiti and African countries -- calling them “inconsistent (with) America’s history and antithetical to American values” with a reference to Martin Luther King, Jr. The poverty of an aspiring immigrant’s nation of origin is as irrelevant as their race,” Romney tweeted. “The sentiment attributed to POTUS is inconsistent w/America’s history and antithetical to American values. May our memory of Dr. King buoy our hope for unity, greatness, & ‘charity for all.’”
This Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, the NAACP wants man-made global warming to be seen as a civil rights issue, arguing King’s vision of a society free of racial injustice can’t be achieved without addressing warming. “We see climate change as a civil rights issue,” Jacqueline Patterson, head of the NAACP’s environmental and climate justice program, said in an online radio spot for the Yale Center for Environmental Connection. Environmental activists have been increasingly framing global warming as a matter of “environmental justice,” since “minority and low-income populations are disproportionately affected by global warming,” Patterson told Yale’s online radio Climate
The most recent attack on the president is designed to throw him off balance during the debate on immigration. Senator Durbin, doing his best Claude Rains imitation, stated, "I cannot believe that, in the history of the White House, in that Oval Office, any president has ever spoken the words that I personally heard our president speak yesterday." Durbin was responding to Trump´s alleged comment that Haiti, El Salvador, and certain African countries are "s---holes." Many of the reports omit mention of El Salvador because it does not fit the anti-black allegations. Senator Durbin is not a young man, and he
NBC plans to televise any players who refuse to stand for “The Star-Spangled Banner” at the Super Bowl, but there may be nothing to show. It appears that NFL players are no longer taking a knee during the national anthem, namely because none of the teams with still-active protesters has qualified for the postseason. By the end of the regular season, only five teams featured at least one player regularly sitting or kneeling on the sidelines for the anthem: the Seattle Seahawks, the San Francisco 49ers, the Miami Dolphins, the New York Giants and the Oakland Raiders. None of those franchises made the
Actress and yogurt salesman Jamie Lee Curtis knows exactly whom to blame for a false alarm that told Hawaiians an incoming ballistic missile was detected. It was all President Trump´s fault. Duh. Now, never mind that Trump was in Florida at the time. On the golf course. And forget that Hawaii´s Emergency Management Agency (EMA), run by the Hawaiian state government, apologized for setting off the false alarm when someone pushed the wrong button. In a Saturday afternoon post on Twitter, Curtis attacked Trump, writing "YOU DID THIS!" "This Hawaii missile scare is on YOU Mr. Trump. The real FEAR that
This is the shocking moment a massive brawl broke out in a California pizza restaurant over a missing iPhone that turned out to have been in the lost and found the whole time. Police were called to John´s Incredible Pizza Company in Newark´s NewPark Mall on Saturday night after violence erupted. It broke out after a girl missing her phone had approached a group to see if they´d seen it but quickly descended into chaos, with video showing two large groups of people exchanging blows and screaming at each other. Newark police officers had to call in officers from the Fremont Police Department
Rep. Pramila Jayapal (D-Wash.) on Monday announced she plans to boycott President Trump´s State of the Union address to Congress at the end of the month, joining a handful of other Democratic lawmakers who are skipping the annual event. "I´m here on Martin Luther King Jr. Day to say I will not be going to the State of the Union," Jayapal said in a video posted on social media. "I think it is absolutely unacceptable to see the racism and the hatred coming out the White House in a way in which this president is fueling the flames of divisiveness across
TRENTON, N.J. — Days before his inauguration as New Jersey’s 56th governor, Phil Murphy had Hollywood on his mind. The 60-year old Democrat had just read a headline about reshoots on “All the Money in the World,” which had been done in a hurry to remove disgraced actor Kevin Spacey from the movie. (Snip) Murphy is ready to end his obscurity. On Tuesday, when he is sworn in, New Jersey will become one of just eight states where Democrats run every branch of government. If Murphy has his way, New Jersey will become a proving ground for every liberal policy
Former President Bill Clinton said on Twitter Saturday that no Clinton Foundation funds were used to pay for his daughter´s wedding. After President Trump reportedly made crude remarks about Haiti and other less-developed countries, some on the right pointed to alleged mishandling of Haitian earthquake relief funds by the Clinton Foundation. On Twitter, President Clinton slammed the notion that any funds from the foundation, whether earmarked for Haiti or not, were used in association with his daughter Chelsea´s wedding to investment banker Marc Mezvinsky. No Clinton Foundation funds—dedicated to Haiti or otherwise—
Florida Rep. Frederica Wilson added her name to a growing list of Democratic lawmakers who say they are fed up with President Trump and will boycott his State of the Union address at the end of the month. (snip) “For the first time since I began serving in the U.S. House of Representatives, I will not be attending the president’s State of the Union address,” Wilson said in a statement late Sunday. “I have no doubts that instead of delivering a message of inclusivity and an agenda that benefits all Americans, President Trump’s address will be full of innuendo, empty
Why would my 22-year-old brother be calling so early on a Saturday morning? I’d ignored the first call. But the second time the phone rang, I picked it up. He was panicking, his voice trembling uncharacteristically: He’d just received the emergency alert warning of a ballistic missile that was heading for Hawaii, where I’m from, and where he and my family still live. “THIS IS NOT A DRILL,” the alert read. My brother was alone, and had no idea what to do or where to go. And he wouldn’t have had much time to figure out a game plan—some estimates
