How sad that so many are being accused of sexual harassment. I wonder how many more will be accused.

Are we really getting to where rumors about rumors cause people to resign before they´re dismissed with no due process?

Read the article, but I´m confused as to the problem with Franks. Were the female staffers "sexually harassed" or were they a couple of snowflakes merely uncomfortable with a discussion of his personal route to parenthood via surrogacy? Would be interesting to learn who first broached the subject.

OBERLIN, Ohio- Students at Oberlin College have long enjoyed pastries, bagels and chocolates from Gibson´s Bakery, a century-old, family-owned business near campus. That sweet relationship has turned bitter amid hotly disputed accusations of racism, roiling a school and town long known for their liberal politics. The dispute, which began in November 2016 with the arrest of three black Oberlin students who tried stealing wine from Gibson´s, is now a lawsuit in which the exasperated bakery owners accuse the college and a top dean of slandering Gibson´s as a "racist establishment" and taking steps to destroy the family´s livelihood. California voters decided last year that the sale of recreational marijuana should be made legal, beginning on Jan. 1, 2018. But Proposition 64 left many of the details to local governments and state regulators. So the last several months have been a race against the calendar, as officials have sought to develop rules governing where, when and how businesses may grow, transport and sell marijuana to adults. Last month, the state unveiled 276 pages of regulations for the new recreational pot marketplace. Among other things, the rules set hefty licensing fees, regulate how much THC will be allowed in edibles

The city has set the new rules which state women can wear a one-piece or two-piece swimsuit which must have bare arms and no covering below the knee. No skirts or bathrobes will be allowed in public swimming pools either, regional daily newspaper Tribune de Genève reports. The motion was carried largely by the right-wing members of the city government despite resistance from the former socialist mayor of Geneva Sami Kanaan, who argued against the motion. They saved Ojai. That’s the short version. But how one of the worst fires in California history burned right up to the edge of this small, spiritual town and then stopped, leaving it virtually intact, is one of the great dramas in the tableau of ferocious natural destruction we’ve been watching. On Saturday, all along the road into Ojai, homemade signs dotted the path: “Thank you for saving our town,” one read. “Thank you to the first responders,” and just “Thank You.” And more thank yous. CNN’s “Reliable Sources,” hosted by Brian Stelter, bills itself as a show that provides “the story behind the story, how the media really works, and how the news really gets made.” But the show, which airs Sunday mornings, failed to live up to that billing in its discussion of its massive screwup on a CNN story about Trumpworld that the network was forced to correct on Friday. Stelter addressed CNN’s blunder for a couple of minutes, offering up a brief review of the reporting of the story. The media reporter then quoted the network’s public relations department, which downplayed the

There need be no doubt anymore: America´s mainstream news media hypes fake news -- and that´s a fact. This past week was disastrous for the press. A slew of fake stories rained down, pushed by anxious anchormen placed in powerful posts. And we want to note before we go on that ALL of this happened in a single week.On Friday Dec. 1, ABC News reported that former national security advisor Michael Flynn was ready to testify that Donald Trump, while still a candidate for president, directed him to contact Russian officials. That would´ve been a big no-no. But it wasn´t true.

Fortune Feimster put on a wig to appear more like Huckabee Sanders - and speaks with a thick southern drawl. She then goes through the routine of putting on makeup, giving instructions that take jabs at the Trump administration and comments that Huckabee Sanders has made

The Post, among others, exposed how CNN reported an embarrassingly inaccurate story about Donald Trump Jr. and Wikileaks, using anonymous sources. When Trump Jr. responded by speculating on those sources, the Post wrote a snippy article (and tweets) on how Donald Jr. slammed CNN “without evidence.” CNN should be the ones to be slammed about being sloppy with evidence. California´s governor has said that deadly wildfires in the winter will be ´the new normal´, as fire crews rushed to contain the fires, with dry desert winds expected to intensify over the weekend. Governor Jerry Brown on Saturday toured Ventura County neighborhoods ravaged by a weeklong wildfire that killed at least one person and destroyed hundreds of homes and other buildings. At a news conference, the Democrat said drought and climate change mean California faces a ´new reality´ where lives and property are continually threatened by fire, at a cost of billions of dollars. There are times in life when the institutional ground underneath you begins to crumble — and with it, longstanding attachments. Such is the case for me when it comes to the Republican Party and evangelicalism. I’ve been a part of both for my entire adult life. These days, though, in many important ways they are having harmful effects on our society. The latest example is in Alabama, where Roy Moore, the Republican Senate candidate, stands accused of varying degrees of sexual misconduct by nine women, including one who was 14 years old at the time. I´m pretty much done with the sex scandals. They were fun, but they´re just going to have to carry on without me. If someone broke the law and you can prove it, prosecute him. If someone violated the rules of his organization, eject him. Other than that, if women have forgotten the fine art of slapping a man in the face, there´s not a whole hell of a lot society can do for them. You keep silent for forty years and then ruin a man´s career with an unprovable allegation — and that makes you a hero? Not to me. Look,

Short of impeaching President Trump, does anything excite Democrats, the Resistance, and NeverTrumpers like the prospect of the president firing special counsel Robert Mueller? Firing Mueller would, or course, be the quickest way for Trump to get impeached, which might explain a certain air of anticipation in discussions of whether — some prefer to say when -- Trump will sack the prosecutor leading the Trump-Russia investigation. There has been a lot of news and commentary recently interpreting criticism of Mueller by a number of pro-Trump media voices as an effort to encourage Trump to fire Mueller, or lay the groundwork for
