Former Dem rep fired by Morgan
Stanley after harassment investigation

The Hill [Washington, DC], by Brett Samuels

Original Article

Former Rep. Harold Ford Jr. (D-Tenn.) was fired from his job at Morgan Stanley after an investigation into a harassment complaint from a female co-worker, HuffPost reported Thursday. The woman, who requested to remain anonymous, alleged that Ford forcibly grabbed her one evening in Manhattan several years ago. She also accused Ford of harassment and intimidation, according to HuffPost. A spokeswoman for Morgan Stanley confirmed Ford’s firing, telling the news outlet he was terminated “for conduct inconsistent with our values and in violation of our policies.” The report comes amid a wave of sexual misconduct allegations in recent weeks against prominent politicians.

Comments:
Another one bites the dust. While it is satsifying to see all these Democrats exposed for the animals that they are, it is a bit disturbing how many there are and it makes me wonder how many are really accurate. This is turning into madness with those who are accused unable to defend themselves. I´m sure not defending Democrats, but with all the witch hunts going on in this country you have to wonder which ones are true and accurate.

Lived and worked in Memphis and the Ford´s were the bargain basement version of the Chicago Daley family. Crooks none the less, but small town crooks. This is no surprise either, power corrupts.

I bet the democrats wish they had never opened this can of worms, just to try derailing Roy Moore´s election. Lots of collateral damage from that boomerang.

This ain´t nothing though, compared to the boomerang from the special council investigation. The follow-on to that will end up snaring a number of democrat heavies... Many already identified and the evidence in hand!

Saw Ford many times on Morning Jomika.
Very smooooth presentation.
Almost gave the impression of being reasonable and avoided the bad attitude built into so many of our melanin gifted brethren. He has a very polite and polished bearing...soft spoken...southern gentleman.

I´m surprised at this charge.

HUH......??? I´m sorry, women are having entirely too much fun at this time in history. I´m 74 a great grandmother, and don´t like the way this witch hunt is going. These guys and I´m sure most if not all have enjoyed being powerful creeps..........BUT, where does it stop? Right now any woman seems to be able to get away with accusing a man of whatever she wants anonymously if she wants, and it is taken as fact. Most women at one time or another has been in a situation where she was uncomfortable or even mistreated. It happens, it has always happened, but the pendulum is swinging high and wide and I´m not sure society is ready for all the repercussions, if this is allowed to continue without brakes.

Federal law doesn’t mention sexual orientation, but some appeals courts have read that language into the law anyway, while others have refused to take that step. That’s created a split where discriminating against gay or lesbian workers is illegal under federal law in some states, but not in others. The justices, without comment, declined to
