Former McCain aide Steve Schmidt:
Trump´s ´impairment is chilling´

The Hill [Washington, DC], by Joe Concha

Sen. John McCain´s (R-Ariz.) former presidential campaign manager, Steve Schmidt, said early Thursday that President Trump was "clearly slurring his words" during an announcement that the U.S. will recognize Jerusalem as the Israeli capital, adding that "the impairment is chilling." "I don’t know the cause of it, but when you combine it with [Sen.] Bob Corker’s critique that the president of the United States is unstable, that he’s dangerous, when you look at the private comments that are made by members of Congress around his stability, you look at his actions in recent weeks," said Schmidt, who is also an

Comments:
These loser hacks are really tiresome. His behavior is reckless and irresponsible. On Laura Ingraham´s show this morning Lewandowski and Bossie appeared and Corey made an stinging comment regarding the vile Schmidt. Schmidt came to Trump Tower two times begging for a job with the campaign.Trump said he was not interested because he really did a bang-up job with the McCain campaign so he would take a pass. Ouch. Schmidt is pathetic, incompetent loser whose ego was smashed by Trump. His behavior sure doesn´t help is image.

Leave it to "The Hill" to seek out these losers to interview over their hatred of Donald. Lucky for us, as they dig deeper and deeper into these childish tricks, more and more people who sat on the sidelines are paying attention and seeing this for what it is. I believe there is a revolution going on right now that the screaming left can not fathom.

I believe Steve Schmidt was the guy on the McCain presidential campaign who trashed Sarah Palin and her family. He has no credibility with me. None.

As far as the slurred speech is concerned, I believe Mr. Trump might have been experiencing trouble with his dental work. That was what they were saying on WIND AM 560 in Chicago.

An example of how esoteric a lot of what we see here really is: I had never heard of The Hill before I came to LCom.

He and Nicole Wallace are the mental zombie version of Carville and Matalin. At least those two keep it civil and they are still very much married. Wallace and Schmidt were a very bad couple of campaign managers and they prove it over and over.

Yes, the release of texts sent between top FBI officials Peter Strzok and Lisa Page show that both loathed Donald Trump while they were working on investigations involving Trump as a presidential candidate and later as president. Of course, lots of federal employees loathe Trump. (Snip) More troubling, in the set of texts released Tuesday night, is a single message, from Strzok to Page, dated Aug. 15, 2016. From the House, to the Senate, to the President, Republicans are doing everything they can to sell their tax plan to a clearly skeptical electorate. For House Speaker Paul Ryan (R-WI), that meant a pop in on Fox News Wednesday to speak with Dana Perino on The Daily Briefing. And it became clear at the beginning of the six-minute conversation that this was not going to be a probing interview. The questions were amiable from the outset. But at approximately the 3:25 mark of the video above, the segment veered toward full-on choreography — and bad choreography, at that. Perino set up

The text messages between FBI Agent Peter Strozk and his mistress, FBI lawyer Lisa Page, have been released to both Fox News and CBS. SEE HERE and SEE HERE. The messages reflect a strong bias against President Trump. However, the bigger story is not the anti-Trump bias within the text communication, the BIGGER story is why the Department of Justice, Office of Inspector General (OIG), began even looking at Agent Peter Strozk’s communication in the first place. Remember, the original mandate by the Inspector General’s office was initiated to review and discover any politicization of the FBI and/or DOJ officials.

Warren made her own post accusing Trump of “slut-shaming.” “Are you really trying to bully, intimidate and slut-shame @SenGillibrand?” asked Sen. Warren in her post. “Do you know who you’re picking a fight with? Good luck with that, @realDonaldTrump. Nevertheless, #shepersisted.” Are you really trying to bully, intimidate and slut-shame @SenGillibrand? Do you know who you´re picking a fight with? Good

Alabama is one of the most reliably Republican states in the country. The last time a Democrat was elected was in 1992, and no Democrat has won more than 40 percent of the vote in a Senate race there since 1996. The closest election in recent memory was in 2002, when Jeff Sessions won re-election by a razor-thin margin of 19 points. Sen. Richard Shelby has won his last three elections by 35 points, 30 points and 28 points, respectively. So it takes a special kind of stupid to pick a candidate who can lose to a Democrat in Alabama.

MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” co-host Mika Brzezinski is still fired up about President Trump’s tweet mocking Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand and took her frustrations out on first lady Melania Trump and first daughter Ivanka Trump. “[Trump] should have apologized for being a sexist pig,” Brzezinski said. “And the women around him, his wife, who has a platform against cyber bullying, that’s a joke. That’s the saddest thing I’ve ever seen.” Brzezinski then shifted her attention to Ivanka Trump, “Who came to Washington… to develop a platform for women,” but has stood by her father. “Go home. You’re doing nothing if you stand

The Alabama Supreme Court has reportedly stayed a lower court’s order to election officials that would have required the preservation of voting records in Tuesday’s Senate special election. A circuit judge on Monday ordered election officials to set voting machines to save all digital ballot images, which would preserve voting records in the event of a recount. Alabama´s AL.com said Tuesday morning that the state´s Supreme Court had blocked the order.

NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell on Monday defended the league´s move to pay nearly $90 million to social justice causes supported by some players, despite critics´ claims that it was meant purely to appease activist athletes, including those who have kneeled during the national anthem this year. “We have a unique opportunity here for NFL players and for NFL owners to work together,” Goodell said, according to NBC Sports. “This is a result of unprecedented dialogue and cooperation between NFL players, ownership and our office over the last year.” Goodell spoke with Eagles safety Malcolm Jenkins and retired wide receiver Anquan Boldin,
