Human race has peaked: Scientists warn
this is as good as it gets for mankind

Mirror (UK), by Sophie Curtis

The human race has peaked, with mankind reaching its maximum limits for height, lifespan and physical performance, scientists have claimed. Despite stories that each generation will live longer and longer, a new report suggests there may be a maximum threshold to our biological limits that we cannot exceed. In particular, the French research team behind the study found what appears to be a plateau in the maximum biological limits for humans´ height, age and physical abilities. "These traits no longer increase, despite further continuous nutritional, medical, and scientific progress," said Professor Jean-François Toussaint from Paris Descartes University.

Comments:
So. If evolution can stop, why now? Why didn´t it stop during prehistoric times? More, with upcoming medical and genetic advances on the horizon, why would it stop now? Could it be that evolution is a hoax? Do I get people knocking down my door for such heresy?

Ok - everything in the world is known. No need for scientists or taxpayer funding of their ´research´ anymore.

Scientists also said that the Earth was flat and that Mankind is the root cause of Global Warming, which can only be fixed by trans-national taxation and the surrendering of sovereignty to unelected dweebs. In both instances, they either killed or threatened to kill skeptics of both philosophies.

Excellent observation #1, wonder where these "scientists" get the money to pay back their student loans and the rest of their day to day bills.......??

So much of "life" is planned around an actuarial table that says people live to their mid-80s. With that calculation we have designed social programs, structured insurance and annuities, and financed Social Security and Medicare. So, let´s add on even just five more years of actuarial life - and things go haywire fast as the money runs out.

Progressives look forward to a day when continued life is determined by the contributions of the person - you are kept alive so long as one "contributes". As Obama suggested, as one ages it may be more palliative care than expensive interventions. This is the core of all these proposals. That´s why it´s as good as it gets...

If these so called "scientists" believe in evolution, and I´m assuming they do, then their statement is complete gibberish. If the world were to end within the next 25 years, then their statement might have some validity, but unless they have incredible powers of prognostication, they have no way of knowing what advancements could be made in science, genetics, or medicine 2 or 3 generations down the road. Think back where we were even 50 years ago, 100 years, 500 years. Apparently they will call anyone a scientist these days.

I think much of the human race is declining, brought to you by rotten politicians and the snowflake millennials. Culture, morals and ethics have been sliding down hill for quite sometime. I hope we haven´t reached terminal velocity.

I have noted that scientists do not have names, provide no evidence, and belong to far left organizations, all funded by the government, or left wing donors with a vested interest.

Socialism is the greatest threat to the species. Globalism is a close second.

The only hope for the human race is to disperse and colonize space. Some will survive, others won´t. Earth will become a living Hell for most humans, while a few elites rule and live well. Continual wars and violence are in store. Just look what happened in the European countries, when the populations grew so large.

Why Democrats win even

Democrats head into Tuesday’s Senate election in Alabama confident that they´ll come out on top no matter who wins. And many Republicans agree with them. If Doug Jones prevails, Democrats expect it will further excite their base, bolster candidate recruitment and fuel fundraising heading into 2018, coming off their near-sweep of last month´s elections. They will revel in picking up a Senate seat in the Deep South, especially in a state so central to President Donald Trump’s political rise and where he earlier backed the loser of the GOP primary. Practically, Republicans would have a 51-49 Senate majority, leaving them with

The Israeli military on Sunday said it has destroyed a tunnel built by the Hamas militant group that stretched from the Gaza Strip several hundred meters (yards) into Israeli territory, declaring a breakthrough in its war against underground threats from the Palestinian enclave. Lt. Col. Jonathan Conricus, a military spokesman, told reporters that Israel had used a new set of "tools" developed since a 2014 war with Hamas in order to destroy the tunnel. He said forces had detected the tunnel months ago and continued to monitor construction efforts by Hamas militants before demolishing it.

An award-winning U.S. diplomat who was seen as a rising star at the State Department has issued a scathing resignation letter, accusing Secretary of State Rex Tillerson and the Donald Trump administration of undercutting the State Department and damaging America’s influence in the world. Elizabeth Shackelford, who most recently served as a political officer based in Nairobi for the U.S. mission to Somalia, wrote to Tillerson that she reluctantly had decided to quit because the administration had abandoned human rights as a priority and shown disdain for the State Department’s diplomatic work,

There are times in life when the institutional ground underneath you begins to crumble — and with it, longstanding attachments. Such is the case for me when it comes to the Republican Party and evangelicalism. I’ve been a part of both for my entire adult life. These days, though, in many important ways they are having harmful effects on our society. The latest example is in Alabama, where Roy Moore, the Republican Senate candidate, stands accused of varying degrees of sexual misconduct by nine women, including one who was 14 years old at the time. Short of impeaching President Trump, does anything excite Democrats, the Resistance, and NeverTrumpers like the prospect of the president firing special counsel Robert Mueller? Firing Mueller would, or course, be the quickest way for Trump to get impeached, which might explain a certain air of anticipation in discussions of whether — some prefer to say when -- Trump will sack the prosecutor leading the Trump-Russia investigation. There has been a lot of news and commentary recently interpreting criticism of Mueller by a number of pro-Trump media voices as an effort to encourage Trump to fire Mueller, or lay the groundwork for
