On Wednesday Congress testified in front of the House Intelligence Committee for seven hours over his 20 minute meeting with a Russian lawyer paid by Fusion GPS during the 2016 election. Democrat Representative Adam Schiff of California leaked information from the hearing after the president’s son testimony.Trump Jr. spoke with the Russian operative from Fusion GPS in June 2016 and then met with his father a year later in July 2017. Democrats wanted him to tell them about this meeting in 2017 which he refused. On Thursday Rep. Trey Gowdy (R-SC) spoke with America’s Newsroom about Don Jr.’s marathon testimony.

ROB GOLDSTONE was the MVP of that meeting-he put it together, then tweeted "just hedging bets" wearing a Russia t-shirt.

Did you ever wonder why the Murdoch--UK Hacking scandal and trial received extremely light coverage in the US? Because the media state was doing even more collusion and trickery than their UK counterparts.

NEW YORK- Some women, and men, worry the same climate that´s emboldening women to speak up about sexual misconduct could backfire by making some men wary of female colleagues. Forget private meetings and get-to-know-you dinners. Beware of banter. Think twice before a high-ranking man mentors a young female staffer. "I have already heard the rumblings of a backlash: ´This is why you shouldn´t hire women,´" Facebook chief operating officer Sheryl Sandberg wrote in a recent post ."So much good is happening to fix workplaces right now. Let´s make sure it does not have the unintended consequence of holding women back,"

A U.S. Coast Guard cutter intercepted a self-propelled semi-submersible vessel engaged in smuggling more than 3,800 pounds of cocaine, federal officials said Sunday. According to the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), on November 13, CBP and Marine Operations (AMO) arrested the crew during operations in international waters, and all three suspects will face charges in the U.S. “The drug cartels are relentless and extremely innovative,” National Air Security Operations Center – Corpus Christi Director Allen Durham said. “Interdicting self-propelled semi-submersible vessels requires expertise and the right aircraft. The NFL protests have been lucrative for social justice charities — they´ll receive a whopping $89 million in "settlement" money, redirected from veterans and breast cancer charity funds — but they´re also becoming a boon for cash-strapped football fans. It turns out, if you can still stomach a professional football game, you can now get tickets for about the same price as a couple of Starbucks lattes. According to Vivid Seats, an NFL ticket reselling site, seat prices at most NFL stadiums have bottomed out, leaving fans able to snag a lower level seat for a Buffalo Bills game for

Rejecting a massive claque of criticism, President Trump went anyway to the opening of the new civil rights museum in Jackson, Mississippi, to praise the "brave men and women" of the civil rights movement. It says something about the partisan politics of the nation that that act took some bravery, too, and Trump was up to the challenge. The Washington Post reported: Rep. John Lewis (D-Ga.), who marched with the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. and was scheduled to deliver the keynote address at the opening, announced Thursday that he would boycott the stage at the public event if Trump were on

OBERLIN, Ohio- Students at Oberlin College have long enjoyed pastries, bagels and chocolates from Gibson´s Bakery, a century-old, family-owned business near campus. That sweet relationship has turned bitter amid hotly disputed accusations of racism, roiling a school and town long known for their liberal politics. The dispute, which began in November 2016 with the arrest of three black Oberlin students who tried stealing wine from Gibson´s, is now a lawsuit in which the exasperated bakery owners accuse the college and a top dean of slandering Gibson´s as a "racist establishment" and taking steps to destroy the family´s livelihood. California voters decided last year that the sale of recreational marijuana should be made legal, beginning on Jan. 1, 2018. But Proposition 64 left many of the details to local governments and state regulators. So the last several months have been a race against the calendar, as officials have sought to develop rules governing where, when and how businesses may grow, transport and sell marijuana to adults. Last month, the state unveiled 276 pages of regulations for the new recreational pot marketplace. Among other things, the rules set hefty licensing fees, regulate how much THC will be allowed in edibles

There are times in life when the institutional ground underneath you begins to crumble — and with it, longstanding attachments. Such is the case for me when it comes to the Republican Party and evangelicalism. I’ve been a part of both for my entire adult life. The latest example is in Alabama, where Roy Moore, the Republican Senate candidate, stands accused of varying degrees of sexual misconduct by nine women, including one who was 14 years old at the time. Firing Mueller would, or course, be the quickest way for Trump to get impeached, which might explain a certain air of anticipation in discussions of whether — some prefer to say when -- Trump will sack the prosecutor leading the Trump-Russia investigation. There has been a lot of news and commentary recently interpreting criticism of Mueller by a number of pro-Trump media voices as an effort to encourage Trump to fire Mueller, or lay the groundwork for
