The Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Science announced Wednesday that it has adopted its first code of conduct for its 8,427 members. Film academy chief executive Dawn Hudson introduced the new rules to members in an email. In October, the academy broke with tradition and made Harvey Weinstein just the second person ever expelled from the Oscars’ governing body. The new code of conduct stipulates that the academy is no place for “people who abuse their status, power or influence in a manner that violates standards of decency.” The academy’s board may now suspend or expel those who violate

Their definition of ´decency´ is not quite the same as mine. Their newest piece of garbage they are already hinting is Oscar worthy is all about man-boy "love".

Not that provocative dress has ANYthing to do with anything (other than the degradation of our culture).

These people are total snobs and phonies.
They give themselves awards all year long.
They are in their own social club of pervs, political activists and dreck.
Remember way back when actors were considered low lifes and of ill repute? I still feel that way about many of them. Similar to the overpaid NFL criminals who are taking a knee.

Democratic congressman John Conyers reportedly sexually harassed a female staffer — leading to a wrongful termination settlement in 2015 that essentially silenced his accuser. Conyers, the longest-serving member of the House of Representatives, is accused of repeatedly making sexual advances to female staffers, according to BuzzFeed. One woman filed a complaint in 2014 claiming she was fired because she would not “succumb to [his] sexual advances.” The woman signed a confidentiality agreement in exchange for a $27,111.75 settlement, the website said. He decried in particular the state of oceans, where overfishing and pollution by plastics are threatening fish stocks and sea life that are critical to Pacific livelihoods. He said several causes
