Tired of all the winning? 3Q
GDP revised upward to higher

U.S. third-quarter gross domestic product was revised upward this morning to 3.3% growth – unexpectedly, of course, in the minds of analysts, who see no connection between a broadly free-market president who is determined to do right by the American people and results like these. Tired of winning yet? Yet there is a connection. The free market is happily responding to thousands and thousands of regulations being cut, an end to business being targeted as the enemy, and the prospect of fairer taxes. What it means is jobs, jobs, jobs, and lots of investment bringing more growth. GDP is a lagging indicator,

My husbands paycheck fluctuates. It´s comprised of hourly rate and commissions. His company relies on both residential and commercial customers.

In 2009, residential tanked. If customers have no money, they don´t spend money. Commercial limped along because there are certain things they must spend money on, however, many regular customers went out of business since then.

Since the ELECTION in 2016 business has become so confidant. Immediately hiring began. Commercial customers suddenly became upbeat. Work put on hold for years was scheduled. Residential sales have improved steadily.

Paychecks have been $700-$800 higher, consistently, over the past year. AND...for the first time since 2008 he received a Christmas bonus...a very generous one too.

Thank you DJT. If Hillary had won NOTHING would have changed and we would be facing another depressing Christmas.

My retirement accounts are in far better shape than I had hoped for.
The Dow Jones average was below 18,000 on November 2nd, 2016. Today it is just a hair short of 24,000. Since Trump´s election it has increased by 33%. That is incredible, spectacular growth.

An investor saving for retirement with $250,000 in a 401K retirement account that was in a very ordinary Dow Jones index fund would have increased to $333,000 by now. Getting $83,000 added to your retirement in a year, is fantastic. For most of us ordinary folks that means a retirement fund growth likely greater than our gross salary for the year, let alone our savings for the year.

Adding 1/3 to everyone´s retirement funds in one year is a really "YUGE" deal. If we get the tax cuts, this could continue for three more years.

Amazing. MAGA, indeed.

The Democrats backed away from their threat to shut the government down if Congress didn´t amnesty Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals recipients. This should be a clue to DACA recipients that they have been used as political tools all along. Because for a while there, nothing was more important to Democrats than getting these foreigners the benefits of U.S. residency and citizenship. They wouldn´t budge. Border control had to go, too. They´d never bend, they said. It was baffling. They were willing to shut the entire government down if DACA recipients didn´t get to stay here, even though there were only

One of the more obvious things about the Trump economy is how much better it is than the Obama economy. Yet incredibly, President Obama, as if jealously looking on at this night-and-day difference, is trying to claim credit for it. From the Washington Times: Former President Barack Obama is taking credit for the robust economic growth that is taking place under President Trump. At a conference of mayors in Chicago, Mr. Obama congratulated himself Tuesday for strong employment numbers in the U.S. this year, saying his climate-change policies have contributed to growth.

Jerry Brown is at it again. Blaming Californians for the devastating series of California wildfires month, he went Full Moonbeam and declared the problem a function of global warming, calling it a new normal about which nothing is to be done. As if wildfires that sweep away homes in California´s unique Mediteranean microclimates have never happened before this past week. Compare and contrast to President Trump´s gracious tweet on the matter, which was the classy thing to say: Our thoughts and prayers are with everyone in the path of California’s wildfires. I encourage everyone to heed the advice and orders of local and state

LOS ANGELES – A flare-up on the western edge of Southern California´s largest and most destructive wildfire sent residents fleeing Sunday, as wind-fanned flames churned through canyons and down hillsides toward coastal towns. Crews with help from water-dropping aircraft saved several homes as unpredictable gusts sent the blaze churning deeper into foothill areas northwest of Los Angeles that haven´t burned in decades. New evacuations were ordered in Carpinteria, a seaside city in Santa Barbara County that has been under fire threat for days. "The winds are kind of squirrely right now," said county fire spokesman Mike Eliason. "Some places the smoke is

After more than a decade of studying wildfires, San Diego County took its final exams last week. Did we pass? Authorities say the region is far better equipped to handle swift, wind-whipped flames than it was during the firestorms of 2007 and ’03. “We’re about $460 million more prepared,” Supervisor Dianne Jacob said Friday, “both on the ground and in the air.” Officials cited better communication between fire agencies; more fire engines and air tankers on the front lines, day and night; and better tracking of the flames. Despite these advances, the Lilac Fire’s first 24 hours consumed 4,100 acres

North County’s Lilac wildfire is now 20 percent contained as firefighters focus on hotspots and embers that could ignite islands of vegetation the fire hasn’t yet scorched. Conventional wisdom is that Attorney General Jeff Sessions is asleep at the wheel – from recusing himself unnecessarily from the Trump-Russia collusion investigation to doing nothing about the politicization and weaponization of the Department of Justice. He also gave free rein to his deputy A.G., Rod Rosenstein, who is in turn allowing Special Counsel Robert Mueller unlimited time, money, and jurisdiction to investigate President Trump´s entire life. Last summer, Trump expressed disappointment in Sessions, calling him "beleaguered," wondering why Sessions wasn´t looking into Hillary Clinton´s emails and true election chicanery. Alabama is one of the most reliably Republican states in the country. The last time a Democrat was elected was in 1992, and no Democrat has won more than 40 percent of the vote in a Senate race there since 1996. The closest election in recent memory was in 2002, when Jeff Sessions won re-election by a razor-thin margin of 19 points. Sen. Richard Shelby has won his last three elections by 35 points, 30 points and 28 points, respectively. So it takes a special kind of stupid to pick a candidate who can lose to a Democrat in Alabama.

Scandal: For 18 months, the FBI has been fixated on determining whether President Trump worked with Russia to influence the 2016 election. But explosive text exchanges between top FBI agents suggest it should be looking in the mirror. The text messages sent between Peter Strzok and Lisa Page, which became public on Wednesday, provide a rare and illuminating window into just how rabidly partisan putatively nonpartisan law enforcement officials can be. In the exchanges, they called Trump an "idiot," a "loathsome human," an "enormous do-che," and said "this man cannot be president." When not berating Trump, they were praising Hillary Clinton.
