One thing they don´t tell you about living a long life is that you get to see everyone from your childhood die, and all your friends.

I hope David Cassidy has settle his affairs.

He invested a few million on thoroughbred race horses. His only good runner was a colt named Mayan King - - who had all kinds of injury problems and never lived up to his potential.

Maybe he´ll find a champion in heaven.

This has been a bad year for celebrity deaths - Roger Moore, Adam West, Mary Tyler Moore, Tom Petty, Glen Campbell, Jerry Lewis, a host of others, and now David Cassidy.

Suddenly, I´m feeling old.....

Yep. I´m sad tonight. Been sad for several days. This month we have lost two very wonderful neighbors and now we have one whose wife is in final stages of cancer- at home, dying. She´s a super nice gal, exceptionally kind, a bit naive (like the character on Golden Girls played by Betty White). So, somehow, that seems to make it worse. I´m such a dumb cluck about these things- I don´t know what to do or say. Sending flowers, offering transportation, support- uh- I wouldn´t know what to ask if it was me in that situation. It´s kind of very personal, dying. She called my wife, asking about thanksgiving. I offered to do her family a whole meal- No- she wants to do it- We offered to help- No. We want to make it ourselves. I´m lost about it. My, gosh. Dr.s expect she won´t be with us T-Giving Day. Just breaks my heart.

This news on David Cassidy really tosses me a little bit more. He had his demons, I suppose, and it has caught up to him. But, overall, he seems like a nice guy.

About 27 years ago my husband, who works in radio, got to spend the day driving him around town city where he was doing publicity. I didn’t find out until that night when he presented me with an autographed photo of David—I was thrilled but angry my husband hadn’t brought him to my office for a visit—lol. Anyway, my husband, who’s met a lot of famous entertainers over the past 40 years, said David was fun and very, very nice—he had no qualms about driving around town with my husband in our Honda! I wish him peace.

I think of all the stories we heard back in David´s glory days. The fame, the money, and the countless women willing to do whatever he wanted. He had to feel like a king.

But even a king eventually lies on his death bed. I hope the time he has left is peaceful, and that somewhere along the way he found the only thing that really matters in the big picture -- God!!!

For 29 years I mixed audio at a CBS affiliate. We had a lot of celebrities that came in to push a movie, book, cd, etc. Some were wonderful, some were jerks until the red light came on. Co-incidentally, I just watched A Fish Called Wanda. John Cleese starred in it and he was a very nice man, normal!

I wish him nothing but the best and peace. I have never met him and he has done nothing to me. No one wants to die in pain and turmoil. As I get closer to the end, it gets scary with medical problems and perhaps dementia looming.

Maybe someone will come forward with an organ donation.

For those who have maintained that San Francisco is full of . . . whatever, there is now living proof. How much poop is there on the streets of the City by the Bay? Would you believe there is an online map to track human feces on the city’s streets? There is. According to Fox News, one area of the city reported a 140% rise in feces. As Jay Caruso of RedState noted, “Public urination is so widespread it has damaged subway elevators and escalators, building walls and power poles.”

President Trump on Saturday launched a remarkable defense of his mental fitness for office, calling himself a “very stable genius” and “like, really smart.” Trump made the defense in a series of tweets that appeared to push back on questions raised by a new book that painted a chaotic and dysfunctional picture of his campaign and early months of his presidency. “Actually, throughout my life, my two greatest assets have been mental stability and being, like, really smart,” Trump tweeted. The president said doubts about his mental capacity have been frequently raised by his critics, but he proved them wrong

President Trump once again took up his criticism of the FBI’s second-in-command, Andrew McCabe, Sunday morning after spending much of the previous day questioning McCabe’s position in the bureau. Apparently quoting a segment from Fox News, the president alleged McCabe used his FBI email to promote his wife’s campaign for the Virginia state Senate. “.@FoxNews-FBI’s Andrew McCabe, ´in addition to his wife getting all of this money from M (Clinton Puppet), he was using, allegedly, his FBI Official Email Account to promote her campaign.
