EXCLUSIVE: ´Socialist´ doctor ´assaulted´ Kentucky

The ´socialist´ doctor charged with cracking Senator Rand Paul´s ribs in a crunching blindside tackle may have harbored a secret grudge against his GOP neighbor for spoiling his lakeside views and ´devaluing´ his home, DailyMail.com can reveal. Rene Boucher, 59, told Paul in the wake of the mauling that he hadn´t been able to sell his $740,000 house for ten years because the congressman´s trees were ´in the way´. It´s believed Boucher was referring to woodland at the back of Paul´s property that blocks the doctor´s views of the picturesque private lake that forms the centerpiece of their upscale gated

One real estate agent said the house next to Paul´ houses didn´t sell because it was overpriced.

I am sure this doctor will accept a deal where he gets probation. To get jail time they would need to show that this was politically motivated.

Guess his house isn´t worth $740,000.

Supposedly, Rand Paul ended up with 5 broken ribs. That´s assault. This isn´t going away.

The media is being ridiculous trying to whitewash this.

I thought the main tenant of Socialism was from each according to his ability, to each according to his needs, or some such drivel.

A Socialist doctor would give the home to somebody that needed it, and live at a hospital where he could provide services to those that need them.

He´s no Socialist. He´s a cowardly back-jumping thug nutcase.

I paid $86,200 for my house back in 2005. It wouldn´t sell for that now in large part because the real estate bubble burst.

But . . . it doesn´t help that there is a drug dealer on one side and an empty, dilapidated house owned by an absent landlord on the other side.

Still . . . I am not tackling anyone and breaking his/her ribs. But then I am a Republican, not a socialist.

If he is really a "socialist", instead of getting to sell his property it should be nationalized and redistributed to "the people".
Now, when do we get to shoot the Czar?

The prosecuting atty. is a Democrat. Look for a plea deal consisting of a fine and community service. However defendant is physically limited due to injury so community service time is suspended.
In other words, this puke will probably get off with a $1000 fine.

Don´t buy this excuse. The lawyer is desperately scratching around for any sort of an excuse which he thinks will deflect the blame even slightly from the fact that the guy is another violent leftist nutcase who attacked a Repub for political reasons.

Even if true, tough rocks for the idiot doc. His property doesn´t actually have a view of the lake, it turns out. He needs to understand that you do NOT control how your neighbor plants his property, and if you think you "deserve" a view across someone else´s property not being blocked by trees, you are nuts.

Of course, the socialist has proven that he is nuts.

Leftism is a sign of a serious mental disorder, proven again.

Na, it was political. And if this story has credence isn’t that just like a socialist, my inability to get my way is your fault.

Assaulting a US Senator is a federal crime. The doofus doctor could end up with only a view of concrete walls and steel bars. What was he thinking? I certainly wouldn´t want someone with so little self-control to be my doctor.

They can try to spin this to cover up the political motive but it won´t fly with most of the public.

What a crock. Everyone knows if a tree were really the problem, a true socialist would´ve just cut it down in the dead of night and that would be that. In Boucher´s mind trespassing and all would´ve been justified because Paul´s tree was unfairly growing and blocking his view. I know a true socialist in MN who simply goes around the neighborhood every DEC and cuts his own Christmas tree from others´ property because "they have plenty of other trees." No lie. These people think like that.
So it´s obvious the story was just made up so that Boucher can´t be accused of a politically motivated attack.

The aerial view of these two properties is interesting. Boucher clearly bought an oddball property on the corner between two lake-view properties - Paul’s and another. He has one corner of his property toward the lake, not a full back side. In order for him to have a view, his neighbors would have to remove trees so that he could see the lake ACROSS their properties.

Sounds like a fool who needs anger management and a reality check.

PS. It is very necessary for this to be a local property dispute rather than a political one. The latter is quite literally a federal case, bigger deal, bigger pottential punishment(s).

A federal judge on Monday permanently blocked President Trump’s executive order to cut funding from so called “sanctuary cities.” Trump’s order would have removed some federal funds from cities that limit their cooperation with U.S. immigration authorities. U.S. District Court Judge William Orrick rejected the Trump administration’s argument that the measure only applies to a relatively small pool of money. Orrick also said that Trump cannot set fresh conditions on spending that Congress has previously approved. Monday’s ruling came in lawsuits brought by two California counties, Santa Clara and San Francisco.
