For The First Time In A Very Long Time,
An American President Stared Down

Donald Trump arrived at the APEC summit with a bit of swagger. Though already a naturally tall and broad-shouldered man, he stood bigger than life among his world leader contemporaries as a petulant Establishment Media did all it could to downplay the aura of strength that followed Mr. Trump everywhere he went. Gone was the rapid gun-chewing insecurity that marked Barack Obama’s participation in such gatherings. There was no apologizing for America’s past. No remarking how the United States owed others. No hiding from the fact that in an increasingly volatile and complicated world, America remains the one true superpower. And

Excellent article. A Must Read for everyone. Like #1, read it, love what it says, love what Trump thinks of America and pass it on. Thanks for posting. Just saw Biden talking about nationalism. Someone needs to send this to him. America first does not mean we want everyone else to be underneath us. It means we want you to walk beside us.

The fact that the president set down a practical moral code for business with foreign nations is great. Not only did he call for following the rules ´faithfully´ but also for open markets unhindered by government planners. And his call for open shipping lanes & free/clear air routes was a direct hit at China which is threatening regional sea lanes. Was that remark about Prez. Obama chewing gum at these conference- was that literally or figuratively?

“individual rights, and freedom of navigation and overflight, including open shipping lanes."

Open shipping lanes is a requirement for China to function. If the Straits of Hormuz were closed or shipping lanes to markets in Europe or the USA were interrupted, China would be devastated. So, China may want to close access by shipping to parts of Asia. But, they still rely on the USA keeping the rest of he World´s sea lanes flowing.

FTA: "Some of the greatest cesspools against American values come not from places like Japan, Vietnam, or India, but rather the American media, Congress, and U.S. universities. It is a form of collective self-loathing that leaves the world shaking its head at us."

It´s true, and it is a disease we need to eliminate if we are to survive as a free and prosperous nation.

Trump not only loves this Country, he understands it. That is something that BO, with all his "Won-ness" is still unable to do. Trump understands what free markets can do, bring prosperity to all, including better healthcare, better environmental conditions, better infrastructure, better education, and on and on. Why? Because free and prosperous (prosperity blossoms from freedom) nations can afford to do EVERYTHING better. Trump is trying to realign government to get out of the way. For all the talk under BO about the US losing it´s competitive edge the nations of the world knew the truth. If our own government stopped strangling us, the potential of this Country, as expressed in its founding principles, is unlimited. And, as stated in the article, the US is happy to share as long as all are on equal footing, because we KNOW that the foundational principles of America are great for all.

A federal judge on Monday permanently blocked President Trump’s executive order to cut funding from so called “sanctuary cities.” Trump’s order would have removed some federal funds from cities that limit their cooperation with U.S. immigration authorities. U.S. District Court Judge William Orrick rejected the Trump administration’s argument that the measure only applies to a relatively small pool of money. Orrick also said that Trump cannot set fresh conditions on spending that Congress has previously approved. Monday’s ruling came in lawsuits brought by two California counties, Santa Clara and San Francisco.

I have never been a Clinton-basher, and I was astonished by the venom, untruthfulness, and zealotry of her account. Mrs. Clinton writes persuasively of seeking “grace” after her defeat, and concluded most of her speeches throughout the 2016 campaign calling for “love and kindness,” yet she is unrelievedly ungracious.
