During a segment that aired on Friday’s broadcast of Birmingham, AL ABC affiliate WBMA 33/40’s 5 p.m. local news, political reporter Lauren Walsh sought out voters in Columbiana, AL to gauge their reactions to the Washington Post report that alleged Republican U.S. Senate hopeful Roy Moore engaged in inappropriate conduct with four teenage girls more than 34 years ago. None of the respondents according to Walsh told her they believed the Post’s reporting. “It’s hard to believe the events that transpired yesterday,” Gordon Fluker of nearby Wilsonville, AL said to Walsh about the Washington Post report. I predict this blows up in the Establishment´s face. The accusations are sketchy at best and are oozing political motivations.

The demoliars are trying this out for the 2018 midterms. If it works then every single republican will be accused of being from 20 30 or 40 years ago from an unnamed woman. There is no defense because in our society you are guilty of sex crimes unless you can prove otherwise. Of course you never know who your accuser is so you are guilty.

I don´t like Roy Moore and I said from the beginning that he was a bad candidate. That said, this episode needs to be responded to with a blow-out in favor of Moore.

Just like when Hillary/DNC´s machinations to get Trump the GOP nom had to be met with his victory, this has to be met with the same.

Poster #3 is correct. If they succeed with this now, they´ll do it again and again and again.

...seems that many are wising up to the games being played. What is disgusting is the GOPe jumping all over it, so as to push him out...

Take a long hard look at all that jumped on the dump Moore movement the next morning after the accusations. You´re looking at people that had advanced notice of the bum´s rush they were planning on Moore.

Notably . . . look hard at Mike Lee of Utah. I don´t think he is a bit what he pretends to be when he is hanging out with Cruz.

Look at the track record of the "reporter".

Ms. McCrummen has a rather interesting criminal history herself, as public criminal records in multiple states stretching across 4 time zones have shown.

Ms. McCrummen’s criminal history began with North Carolina Case # 1992 CR 00654, a violation of the Article 19 – False Pretenses and Cheats section of the North Carolina Criminal Code. Ms. McCrummen was convicted of a crime punishable by up to six months of imprisonment for writing a hot check that was deemed worthless.

Last but not least, former Secret Service agent Doug Lewis (@umpire43) has made an unsubstantiated claim that a WaPo reporter named “Beth” offered a family friend $1000 to accuse Roy Moore, and that a tape of the offer is in the hands of the DA.

So does the WaPo background check their employees or are they judged by how much crap they buy from Amazon???

The WaPo admitted meeting with these women many times to get them to do this. We aren´t told about those meetings, but one can surmise, they were about how much they were to be paid, the terms of legal protection provided by third parties for any legal liability exposures for libel, money to support the women through the expected media frenzy, and security. These agreements should be disclosed. The WaPo cannot be allowed to make claims, then walk away without any cross examination.

I watched all the round tables on FOX and if Moore succeeds and makes it to the senate the scenario is the Senate can reject and refuse to seat him. We all know this would be led by McCain and his ilk.
Moore should not back down from this democrat dirty tricks stunt because there will be more in future elections if this works for them.

I read or heard a comment from one of the accusers who now remembers that Moore said something to her when she was a teenager. Something similar to ´nice to have a pretty face to see each morning.´ At the time she was not upset but now all these years later she is accusing him of sexual harrassment. Nice try lady. Times change and that would not have been considered sexual harrassment then. Today we are so super sensitive it´s difficult to know what is p.c.

I am really sorry that John McCain suffers from a brain affliction, but he continues to play an active role in politics, and so I must call him out when he does something really outrageous. Yesterday, Sen. McCain called on Judge Roy Moore to "immediately step aside" after unproven allegations of sexual impropriety were published in a liberal newspaper. No waffling about "if true..." That is a standard Senator McCain did not apply to himself under similar circumstances. During his 2008 presidential bid, the New York Times published a story alleging sexual misconduct with a female lobbyist. McCain fought it.

(Snip) The Wall Street Journal reported on Wednesday the following: The tension has grown so severe that the topic of removing Jones has been discussed by at least some owners, according to three people familiar with the matter. That type of drastic action would require the league showing conduct detrimental to the league—which is exactly the language the league used in its Nov. 15 letter to Jones’s attorney, David Boies.
