‘We Have Some Evidence of Some Collusion’

MONTGOMERY, Alabama — Judge Roy Moore, the GOP nominee for the U.S. Senate in Alabama, told nationally syndicated radio host Sean Hannity on Friday afternoon that his campaign is conducting its own investigation into the allegations against him and has “some evidence of some collusion” against him. Moore said when Hannity asked him to respond to the dozens of establishment Republicans demanding he step down from his race for the U.S. Senate: If you step aside for any allegation, then you might as well not run because when you run you’re going to get allegations. First, I would tell these

FTA: we have some evidence of some collusion here but we’re not ready to put that to the public just yet.

I think that would be a "criminal conspiracy" rather than "collusion," and if he can find proof, if the woman who claims something happened 40 years ago when she was a 14 year old girl is not being truthful, se should face exactly the same punishment that any man would get if her claim were true.

If not "exactly the same" then even more jail time for a false claim.

There are vast sums of money being expended, in a variety of ways, to destroy President Trump and, quite likely, Republicans in general—especially Republicans who are not part of the GOPe. Two timeworn adages come to mind: “Money Talks” and “Follow the Money”

Well, it looks like one of the accusers is a Clinton/Obama Democrat operative who took down some of her anti-GOP Facebook rhetoric.

And another report is that a Wash Post reporter named "Beth" (and the report ID´d a Beth on the Wash Post reporter roster online that matches the description of this "Beth") was offering $1000 for information leading to accusers against Judge Moore. That may be a second hand report and like the game of telephone we played as kids, lost something in the translation.

But there´s something that stinks about this story and it ain´t that Judge Moore is a cad (he says it didn´t happen, but most of us weren´t there and don´t know -- and it was nearly 40 years ago). The why now behind the story -- what led the Washington Post to send folks down to Alabama to search out this story is what I´d like to know.

But maybe Judge Moore should hire someone to take care of this issue. Rush recommends an expert at things like this -- Hillary Clinton.

HANNITY: “And you can say unequivocally that you never dated anybody that was in their late teens like that when you were 32?”

Many of the country’s top media outfits blamed the Democratic Party for allowing the government to shutdown instead of bridging a budget impasse with Republicans in the Senate. “U.S. Shutdown Starts as Senate Democrats Block GOP Funding Plan” a Bloomberg headline blared early Saturday morning, referring to the Senate’s inability to agree on a variety of budgetary issues. The New York Times and AP chimed in with similar headlines. Republican and Democratic leaders have not stopped talking through their differences. The CFPB is an independent agency that recieves its funding from the Federal Reserve. The director must submit a budget request to the Fed every quarter. The most recent budget request came from former director Richard Cordray, an Obama appointee. Cordray asked the Fed for $217 million.
