Chris Wallace: Trump ´May

Fox News, by Staff

Fox News Sunday host Chris Wallace on Thursday was awarded the International Center for Journalists (ICFJ) Founders Award for Excellence in Journalism. He was honored for his 50-plus years in broadcasting and for “his unbiased, piercing approach to interviews.” During his acceptance speech, Wallace addressed the 600 members of the press in attendance and warned them about media bias. "President Trump is engaged in the most direct, sustained assault on a free press in our history," Wallace said. (Snip) Wallace said that he thinks Trump "may have a point" when he complains about media bias and unfairness. "I believe that

Comments:
I´m actually shocked that Wallace called out the media. When will someone like Sharyl Attkisson or Catherine Herridge receive an award? Never. I had to chuckle over his ´piercing interviews´ that are allegedly unbiased. Those are usually saved for Republicans. I can´t remember any interview with a Democrat, Obama regime member, etc. that were raked over the coals like he has with Republicans.

Still can’t tell the truth, Wallace? His acceptance speech still panders to the left wing bias fake news faux journalists. He throws them a bone by suggesting that the media only crosses the line in response to Trump’s attacks on the media. Trump’s attacks on the media are in response to generations long biased coverage of conservatives, their constituents, their ideology, and their beliefs. This is called comeuppins, Chris. We are sick of being lied to and lied about. Be honest. For once.

Wallace essentially concedes nothing here. Like several other left wing (so-called) journalists who have spoken about this issue, he self-servingly confuses cause and effect.

Like his colleagues he seems to believe that before DT came along we in flyover country were sitting dumbly in front of our TV sets lapping up whatever the MSM chose to spoon feed us. Then along came this brash interloper to overturn the natural order and put funny ideas into our heads.

That DT is mainly a conduit for long-simmering frustration with media bias never occurs to Wallace or his MSM cronies. It can´t, because that might lead to some serious introspection.

Trump has quickly become an expert on this trend toward bias, having been subjected to it every day for a year. Even the people who admit it can not use the words, "fake" or "lie." Errors are one thing, outright lies and fiction are quite another. The fact that Trump is still winning and doing a great job makes him an outstanding POTUS. While they lie in the negative about Trump these same con artists lied to keep Obama afloat for eight years so they have had plenty of practice at their black art.

Schumer withdraws offer on Trump´s wall

Chuck Schumer is taking his big spending boost for Donald Trump’s border wall off the table. The Senate minority leader, through an aide, informed the White House on Monday that he was retracting the offer he made last week to give Trump well north of the $1.6 billion in wall funding Trump had asked for this year, according to two Democrats. And now they say Trump will simply not get a better deal than that on his signature campaign promise. Schumer “took it off,” said Sen. Dick Durbin (D-Ill.), the No. 2 Senate Democrat. “He called the White House yesterday and said

New York will continue to provide some illegal immigrant “Dreamers” with access to government-run Medicaid insurance no matter what happens in Washington, Gov. Andrew Cuomo announced Tuesday. There are 42,000 people living in New York who are currently protected by the Obama-era DACA deportation amnesty, which makes them eligible for Medicaid in the state. Mr. Cuomo said given the uncertainty over the program in Washington, he wanted to guarantee the migrants health coverage. “The federal government’s failure to take action to protect DACA recipients is appalling, un-American, unjust and puts hundreds of thousands of children at risk. Why FBI´s ´missing´ five months

Fox News, by Richard Manning     Original Article

Richard Nixon´s secretary Rose Mary Woods erased 18 minutes of tape recording of the president and became infamous in1972. The FBI failed to preserve five months of text messages and expects the American public to believe it was a random mistake. This is worse than Watergate. The text messages between agents Peter Strozk and Lisa Page are instructive for several reasons. First, the texts were sent in the lead-up to Robert Mueller being named a special counsel in the investigation of Russia and the 2016 presidential election. Second, earlier messages that have been released included not only the involvement of

The U.S. census asks about age and ethnicity, but doesn’t currently ask residents whether they’re citizens — something the Trump administration wants to change in time for the 2020 count. Like much of the Trump agenda, it’s not happening without a fight. The Justice Department’s petition to add citizenship questions to the upcoming census has ignited a firestorm of criticism from immigrant-rights advocates who say immigrants will shun the process if they’re asked to reveal that particular piece of information. “Such a question would likely depress participation in the 2020 census from immigrants who fear the government could use the

Democrats called it the Trump shutdown. Republicans labeled it the Schumer shutdown. But in reality, it was the Dreamer shutdown. The recipe for the current congressional gridlock is complex, but at the top of the list of ingredients are the illegal immigrant Dreamers who pushed Democrats to launch the filibuster that sent the government careening into a partial shutdown. It’s a stunning display of political leverage for a group that, at most, numbers several million, can’t vote now, and even under the most generous proposals wouldn’t be able to cast ballots for another decade. It´s no secret that Mitt Romney is, in all likelihood, going to run for a Senate seat in Utah. What´s less clear, however, is why the man who was the 2012 Republican presidential nominee and is now retired and occupying an elder-statesman role in a party torn into warring factions would want to serve as a junior senator. Once elected, Romney would find himself embroiled in day-to-day congressional fights and less free to voice his criticisms of the White House, while losing some of the deference he´s been shown by members of his own party. The man overseeing the special investigation into Russian election meddling is by all accounts a non-partisan straight shooter, the model image of a public-minded civil servant. Drafted to lead politically polarizing investigation, working under the beady eyes of distrustful congressional Republicans, Mueller has striven to keep his team’s conduct as unimpeachable as possible by bringing on some of America’s sharpest legal minds to check his own work and keeping public comments to a minimum. Congressional investigators believe they are barely beginning to answer the questions raised by the text messages between the FBI´s Peter Strzok and Lisa Page.
