Rand Paul attack: More neighbors now
casting doubt on ´landscaping dispute´ story

Fox News, by Brooke Singman

Original Article

More of Sen. Rand Paul´s neighbors are speaking out and casting doubt on reports that a mere "landscaping dispute" led to the attack a week ago that left the Republican lawmaker hospitalized with six broken ribs. As the suspect — 59-year-old neighbor and anesthesiologist Rene Boucher — pleads not guilty to a single misdemeanor assault charge, the motive for what Paul´s office describes as a “blindside” remains a total mystery. The New York Times initially reported neighborhood chatter suggesting a long-running landscaping disagreement led to last Friday’s attack in Kentucky.

Paul borrowed a hedge clipper - - and Boucher asked him to please return it.

That´s ALL it was - - just a simple request - - really - - I know it because I read it in the NY Times.

He attacked Paul in a blindside attack. He broke 6 of his ribs and caused other potentially very dangerous injuries.

And they only charge him with a MISDEMEANOR?!?!?!?

I´m guessing it´s a Demon-RAT prosecutor that really wanted to give Mr. Boucher an award!!!

As # 3 said, I can´t believe they used the most minor charge possible against this rotten liberal. This is aggravated assault with major life endangering injuries! This is so typical of a filthy leftist, as a true coward, to come up behind an elderly man and blindside him. I hope Sen. Paul has a real competent and aggressive civil attorney for the huge lawsuit.

Cook Political Report, a top nonpartisan election handicapper, is predicting a wave of Democratic victories in the 2018 midterm elections. In a new analysis, Cook editor Amy Walter says she feels a similarity to a wave of Democratic Congressional victories in 2006, in which the party took control of the House, the Senate and a majority of governorships during former President George W. Bush´s second term. “[B]ack in 2006 ... I argued that unlike the last wave election of 1994, the party holding the White House was much better prepared. Republicans in 2006 had significant financial advantages,” Walter writes.

In the longstanding liberal narrative about Bill Clinton and his scandals, the one pushed by Clinton courtiers and ratified in media coverage of his post-presidency, our 42nd president was only guilty of being a horndog, his affairs were nobody’s business but his family’s, and oral sex with Monica Lewinsky was a small thing that should never have put his presidency in peril.
