A VEHICLE has driven into a group of people in front of a high school near Toulouse in a "deliberate attack". Early reports indicated that three people were injured in the collision outside Saint-Exupéry high school in Blagnac, Haute-Garonne near Toulouse in France. Three Chinese students were injured in the collision that occurred at around 4pm, local time. A 23-year-old man and a 22-year-old woman were slightly injured, while a 23-year-old woman is in a more serious condition. The driver attempted to drive off but was stopped by police and arrested straight away. As he was arrested by police he told them he

The car was "deliberately driven" into the students. Cars no more "deliberately drive" themselves any more than personal defense rifles fire themselves. Both are inanimate objects. Only a person to commit a crime.

On my last trip to France, earlier this year, the wife and I discussed these ´mow down´ attacks. We were especially careful when walking on sidewalks in larger cities. Head on a swivel, ears primed for a revving engine, hard acceleration nearby and staying as far back from the curb as practical.

We never, ever walk around with earplugs in, too dangerous, even if no jihadis trying to run you down.

Heads up folks, it is a dangerous world out there, pay attention. All senses on and scanning for dangers.

The article dances around the terrorism meme several times but never do they mention Mohammed´s name.

Also infuriating is the official declaration of help and full support for the victims after having let a known offender and psychiatric patient drive a car and run loose.

Who is LaToya Cantrell? The backstory

New Orleans mayors have typically come from families with political pedigree. They have well established ties to the civic and business community. The great majority have claimed native roots. LaToya Cantrell, on the other hand, is a relative newcomer on the public scene. She is the first outsider elected to the office since Chicago-born Victor Schiro in 1961. Before her election as the District B representative in 2012, Cantrell’s community visibility was limited to Broadmoor, where she led a nonprofit that expedited the neighborhood’s recovery after Hurricane Katrina. Still, the 45-year-old mayor-elect can rightfully claim Crescent City bona fides. She has been

A letter newly released from the FBI´s archives may prove that DB Cooper - the 1971 hijacker last seen leaping out of a plane with a fortune in cash - survived his apparent death. The letter, which was sent 17 days after the hijacking appears to contain information that was not released into the public domain until 13 years later. If that´s the case it might reveal not only that Cooper lived to tell the tale of his extraordinary heist, but that the FBI covered it up to hide their embarrassment at his escape, the leader of a team of

HARARE (Reuters) - Zimbabwe’s ruling party fired Robert Mugabe as its leader on Sunday and gave the 93-year-old less than 24 hours to quit as head of state or face impeachment, an attempt to force a peaceful end to his 37 years in power after a de facto coup. Mugabe, the only leader Zimbabwe has known since independence from Britain in 1980, was replaced by Emmerson Mnangagwa, the deputy he sacked this month, a senior party official told a news conference. In scenes unthinkable just a week ago, the announcement was met by cheers from the 200 ZANU-PF delegates packed into

At a time Democrats are desperate to keep the focus on accusations against President Donald Trump and Alabama Senate candidate Roy Moore, Gillibrand’s stand shocked even some of her close allies. If the ground beneath your feet feels cold, it’s because Hell froze over the other day. It happened at 8:02 p.m. on Monday, when The New York Times published an op-ed called “I Believe Juanita.” Written by Michelle Goldberg, it was a piece that, 20 years ago, likely would have inflamed the readership of the paper and scandalized its editors. Reviewing the credibility of Broaddrick’s claim, Goldberg wrote that “five witnesses said she confided in them about the assault right after it happened,” an important standard in reviewing the veracity of claims of past sex crimes. But Goldberg’s was not a single

In the longstanding liberal narrative about Bill Clinton and his scandals, the one pushed by Clinton courtiers and ratified in media coverage of his post-presidency, our 42nd president was only guilty of being a horndog, his affairs were nobody’s business but his family’s, and oral sex with Monica Lewinsky was a small thing that should never have put his presidency in peril. That narrative could not survive the current wave of outrage over male sexual misconduct. So now a new one may be forming for the age of Harvey Weinstein and Donald Trump.
