Breitbart News exec and former White House Chief Strategist Steve Bannon ripped into the Washington Post Thursday night at the 603 Alliance’s “Taking On The Establishment” fundraiser in Manchester, NH — calling the paper, owned by Amazon founder Jeff Bezos, “purely part of the apparatus of the Democratic Party,” citing its similar hit pieces on Judge Roy Moore and then-candidate Donald Trump. From CBS News: At a speech in New Hampshire Thursday night, GOP strategist Steve Bannon compared the accusations against Alabama Senate candidate Roy Moore to the release of President Trump’s infamous “Access Hollywood” video during the 2016 election.

A full 365 days of covfefe have passed since Hillary Clinton grudgingly conceded the 2016 presidential election. According to Democrat press releases and the mainstream media — but I repeat myself — the nation lies in ruins. Reality tells a different story. On the economic front, consumer confidence has hit its highest level in 17 years. Over one million jobs have been created. The post-election stock market rally is the second largest since the Kennedy administration. The destructive tariffs and trade wars conservatives feared have not materialized. Tax reform awaits congressional Republicans´ whipping the votes. On the so-called social issues,

NEW LONDON, N.H.-Holding manila folders filled with pages of her handwritten reports, Dr. Anna Konopka insisted her system for keeping track of her patients´ medical conditions and various prescriptions works fine. But the New Hampshire Board of Medicine disagrees. It is challenging the 84-year-old New London physician´s record keeping, prescribing practices and medical decision making. Part of their concern is her remedial computer skills, which prevent her from accessing and using the state´s mandatory electronic drug monitoring program. The program, which the state signed onto in 2014, requires prescribers of opioids to register in an effort reduce overdoses. Konopka surrendered

Melania Trump once again stepped up her fashion game during a state dinner in Beijing on Thursday, donning an ornate Gucci fur trim dress with an ornate pattern reminiscent of traditional Chinese clothing. The first lady, 47, exuded confidence as she strode in five-inch, baby pink stilettos, which matched the fur lining of her sleeves, next to her Chinese counterpart, Peng Liyuan. Meanwhile, the White House communications director Hope Hicks, who has given Melania a run for her money in the style department over the past few days, appeared to take a step back in a very simple, slightly baggy

A juror, who was excused from the bribery trial of Sen. Bob Menendez (D-N.J.), said Thursday she would have found the New Jersey lawmaker "not guilty on every charge” if she had remained on the jury. “I feel like the government was very corrupted, not that Menendez was. That they were, to me, railroading him. This is how I feel. Personally, he’s not guilty on all counts," Evelyn Arroyo-Maultsby said, according to Politico. "I don’t think he did anything wrong,” she added at the end of the jury´s third day of deliberations. U.S. District Judge William Walls had promised Arroyo-Maultsby

The father of Texas church gunman Devin Kelley has broken his silence in the wake of the massacre, saying his family is in mourning, according to a report. “We are grieving, our family is grieving,” Michael Kelley told ABC News on Wednesday at his home in New Braunfels, about 35 miles north of Sutherland Springs, where his son slaughtered 26 people and wounded 20 others at First Baptist Church. After committing the atrocity, the 26-year-old exchanged gunfire with Stephen Willeford, who struck him in the leg and torso with his rifle before jumping into a vehicle driven by Johnnie Langendorff

After raising a family in the San Antonio area, Farida Brown moved to LaVernia about 20 years ago and found a community at the First Baptist Church, as so many others have. It was the type of place where congregants had developed an unofficial seating chart and greeted each other by name each Sunday. But that building will soon be gone. Pastor Frank Pomeroy told leaders of the Southern Baptist Convention it would be too painful to continue using First Baptist Church of Sutherland Springs as a place of worship and he plans to demolish the building. Nov. 11 is the day we celebrate Veterans Day. For many of us who have served, it is an important day; to large parts of Middle America, it is a time to celebrate; and to others, they couldn’t care less. What should this day mean to every American? Are we properly serving our veterans? Are veterans burdens, or assets? By way of education, Nov. 11 actually started out as Armistice Day, commemorating the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month in 1919. This is when the Treaty of Versailles was signed, ending World War I. This was

I argued that conservatives should disassociate themselves from Roy Moore and denounce him weeks before credible allegations surfaced today that he preyed on teenage girls, one only 14 years old. So I’m pretty locked-in. I suppose it’s good that some Republicans see this as a bridge too far. But it’s a little hard for me to focus on that upside when you think about what they considered to be acceptable until now. Still, it’s good to know where the line is. When California lawmakers return to the Capitol in January, the state chapter of the NAACP will be seeking their support for a campaign to remove “The Star-Spangled Banner” as the national anthem. The organization last week began circulating among legislative offices two resolutions that passed at its state conference in October: one urging Congress to rescind “one of the most racist, pro-slavery, anti-black songs in the American lexicon” as the national anthem, and another in support of former San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick, who launched a protest movement against police brutality among professional athletes by kneeling when “The Star-Spangled

Maybe it was that whole “low energy” thing. In surprisingly undiplomatic terms for elder statesmen, George W. Bush and his father, George H.W. Bush, bash President Trump in a soon-to-be released book. While both of the former presidents vowed when they left office not to speak ill of their successors — a pledge they’ve kept for the most part — there’s just something about Donald J. Mr. Corker, a Tennessee Republican and chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee who has repeatedly tussled with Mr. Trump, said members of both parties have questioned what powers the president has to use nuclear weapons. Mr. Corker said it’s been more than four decades since Congress has looked at the issue, and it seemed the time was ripe. “This discussion is long overdue, and we look forward to examining this critical issue,” he

Alabama Senate candidate Roy Moore (R) has turned down an opportunity to debate his opponent, Doug Jones (D), because the differences between the two candidates are "crystal clear," according to Moore´s campaign. Election 2018: No question about it, the GOP took a real shellacking in Tuesday´s off-year vote, losing key elections in Virginia, New York and New Jersey. Republicans have been put on notice for 2018: Do your job, or go home. Democrats ran what was for them a smart but unprincipled, bare-knuckled campaign. They smeared moderate Republicans as racists and white-power advocates, while largely avoiding making their campaigns about issues. It worked: They won 16 seats in the Virginia legislature and the state´s governorship, re-elected a failed socialist mayor in New York, and took back New Jersey´s gubernatorial mansion from departing Republican
