Curiouser and curiouser… An interesting development amid the various swampy happenings both domestically and internationally. With Robert Mueller focusing on foreign interest lobbying efforts within Washington DC; and amid Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman confronting corruption within the financing of foreign political influence; Podesta CEO Kimberley Fritts announces she is leaving to form her own firm.Considering that Mrs. Fritts previously announced her intention of remaining at the Podesta group and rebranding the lobbying firm, sans Tony Podesta, questions arise as to what might have made Fritts change her mind. Like the Clinton foundation, nothing on the store shelves anymore. When you are selling influence (likely illegally), and the source of your influence is gone, you have nothing to sell.

In this case, double gone. Hillary has no power, and any power John Podesta had was reflected from her. He is also gone from campaign or administration power, so his brother´s company has doubly nothing left to sell.

As the good ship begins to take on water, we see the Demonrats display their true allegiances--to save their wretched necks.
I wonder if Ms. Fritts has an aversion to orange jumpsuits?

Ruling but no resolution on

Nearly two years after the U.S. Supreme Court ruled that prison inmates who killed as teenagers are capable of change and may deserve eventual freedom, the question remains unresolved: Which ones should get a second chance? Now the ruling — which came in the case of a 71-year-old Louisiana inmate still awaiting a parole hearing — is being tested again in that same state, where prosecutors have moved in recent months to keep about 1 in 3 former juvenile offenders locked up for the rest of their lives.(Snip) "In this community, some of the most violent crimes we´ve had have been

Let us begin at the end of the beginning: “Dunkirk” is the best film of 2017. It is an epic war movie, where names are neither memorable nor necessary because the scenes are unforgettable. And the suspense is almost unbearable, as the story is more about psychological terror than physical turmoil. The terror of aloneness. The terror of bombardment from air, land, and sea. The terror of abject failure, as the enemy attempts to destroy Europe’s only hope for freedom and drown England’s only chance to remain free. The terror of watching this epic unfold in record time (106 minutes),

Brilliant-brilliant-brilliant. With a single tweet, (that is already well on its way to generating 100k+ likes) Donald Trump has forcefully pushed Democrats into a corner and likely secured a full victory for plans for a new wall on the nation’s southern border. The Democrats have been told, and fully understand, that there can be no DACA without the desperately needed WALL at the Southern Border and an END to the horrible Chain Migration & ridiculous Lottery System of Immigration etc. We must protect our Country at all cost! — Donald J. Michael Patrick Leahy at Breitbart believes Vince McMahon of pro-wrestling fame is going to revive the XFL to compete with the NFL come this fall. The MAGA league would be patriotic and push traditional football whatever that means.Trump and McMahon are friends. They worked together in the past. McMahon´s wife holds a key position in the Trump administration. So, the story of McMahon reviving the XFL does seem credible. McMahon could take a flier on investing $100 million in an eight-city league. The XFL´s one season in 1982 drew a record TV audience the first night before fizzling. (Snip) Leahy

President Trump gave Mike Schmidt of the New York Times an impromptu half-hour interview on Trump´s golf course. The press went wild. People who last week bitched about no year-end press conference showed open hostility to the president talking to a reporter unguarded by his flacks. The reaction tells you everything about the power of the press. The unstaffed president of the United States, who likes to talk to reporters, bumped into the incomparable @nytmike at one of his golf courses and did what he is always inclined to do -‘talk for a half-hour on record. Immediately following confirmation by Senator Lindsey Graham about the origin of the 2016 FBI Counterintelligence Operation against candidate Donald Trump, The New York Times, via Clinton’s favorite voice Maggie Haberman, pushes out an article attempting to cloud, obfuscate and justify the joint FBI and DOJ surveillance operation against Trump. (Tweet) The timing, content and presentation of the disinformation is transparent in the intended motive. More and more people are recognizing the FBI application to the FISA court was based on political information, the Steele Dossier, assembled by political operatives and used by political operatives within the DOJ National Security Division

Cue the visual: (Tweet)Arguably the most consequential failure of the Hillary State Department was in 2009 when the U.S. undermined the Iranian Green Revolution. Not only did the U.S. do nothing to help the opposition against the Iranian regime, but US funding was cut for democratic organizations/programs in Iran under Clinton’s State Department. In the dining room of her quaint, brick Alexandria home, Linda Nickens sat quietly as she traced her glittery, pink fingernails over an old black-and-white photo of the late Charles “Pruner” West. Nickens, who has lived at her house since 1974, has seen her collection of photos, footballs, plaques, books, awards and trinkets multiply as her once-bare walls have become full of deep-rooted memories. At the dining room table, Nickens, 72, spread out a handful of photos, going through one by one as she recounted the stories of the man some called “Doctor,” others “Pruner” or “Charlie,” but to her

President Trump should take decisive action in 2018 to support the ouster of the virulently anti-American theocracy that has ruled Iran with an iron fist and threatened its neighbors for the past four decades. The president’s first step should be to throw American support behind the brave anti-government protesters who have taken to the streets in mass demonstrations across the Islamic Republic since Thursday. The street protests continued Saturday, with demonstrations in cities including the capital of Tehran and Kermanshah. In a good first step, the U.S. State Department announced Friday that the America “strongly condemns the arrest of peaceful protesters. We

Everyone suspected the sketchy Steele Dossier was what corrupt FBI and DOJ officials used to get the October 2016 FISA warrant against Trump. FBI and DOJ officials refuse to answer that question publicly. Despite a hundred different ways congressional investigators have asked the question, and despite numerous on-camera questions to FBI and DOJ officials about the 2016 FISA process, no-one had definitively confirmed the Christopher Steele ‘Russian Dossier’ was the underlying evidence for the 2016 FISA application to gain wiretaps and electronic surveillance upon presidential candidate Donald Trump.

Washington — During a night of heavy drinking at an upscale London bar in May 2016, George Papadopoulos, a young foreign policy adviser to the Trump campaign, made a startling revelation to Australia’s top diplomat in Britain: Russia had political dirt on Hillary Clinton.About three weeks earlier, Mr. Papadopoulos had been told that Moscow had thousands of emails that would embarrass Mrs. Clinton, apparently stolen in an effort to try to damage her campaign.Exactly how much Mr. Papadopoulos said that night at the Kensington Wine Rooms with the Australian, Alexander Downer, is unclear. President Trump’s love for all things gold apparently doesn’t extend to the Golden State. Trump is about to become the first president since Dwight D. Eisenhower 64 years ago to skip a visit to California during his first calendar year in office. And he doesn’t appear to have any plans to take Air Force One to the country’s most populous and economically powerful state before he marks his first full year in office Jan. 20. Even past presidents who, like Trump, didn´t win the state´s electoral votes made it a destination, if only for California’s allure as the Golden State

The clock is ticking on the Republican majority in Congress: The GOP has just over 10 months to avoid a rout in 2018.Republicans could do it. They have time and several important factors on their side: a good economy, low crime rates, achievements of significance to the party´s followers.Nevertheless, as 2017 closes, almost all signs point toward big Democratic gains next year, largely driven by President Trump´s widespread unpopularity. And some of the pugnacious instincts that helped the president win election a year ago may now be worsening his party´s dilemma.Midterm elections "are a referendum on the party in power,"
