Former interim DNC Chairwoman Donna Brazile said the Democratic party was "leeched of its vitality" by former President Barack Obama and others in the months leading up to the 2016 presidential campaign. (Snip) Obama "used the party to provide for political expenses like gifts to donors, and political travel," Brazile wrote, adding that the politician also used DNC funds for "his pollster and focus groups" later into his second term although he couldn´t run for president again. "This was not working to strengthen the party. He left it in debt. Hillary bailed it out so that she could control it, and Debbie went
Comments: The DNC was O´s slush fund. I wonder how many laws were broken when pillaging and vandalizing.
So Brazile now employs the “You Always Hurt the One You Love” defense for the abuse exacted upon the Democrat Party by Obama, the Clintons, and Wasserschultz. What a load of horse hockey. Even during her hour of contrition, Brazile fails go see the truth about all these grifters: third rate minds, second rate crooks, first rate liars. Hillary Clinton did not ever and still does not consider the putative needs of any Democrat save one: herself. Same goes for Obama. Wasserschultz is a slight variation on this theme in that she does not consider anything at all. Brazile is giving the old college try in her quest for a moment of clarity but all she has accomplished so far is to mischaracterize the players of 2016 in a new way.
MY question is why is Donna telling all and the media helping her. And why´ve after knowing and telling all I see she still a devout democrat. What I said she up to. I know she wants to sell books. Which I will not buy. But something is just not adding up. There is more to this info getting out then just the kindness of donnas little heart in wanting to inform the public. Would you be a dem after reading all this corruption within the DNC. Normal people would go independent.
I initially thought that Donna was trying to get out ahead of the shenanigans of the DNC and the Clinton camp so she´s not the fall guy if bad things happen. Or that the Dem powers that be had decided that it was time to move the Clintons off the stage. After all HRC was acting a fool on her book tour and hinting at a run in 2020.
But upon reflection I think there is something else going on -and that is laying the groundwork for Moochelle to run in 2020. Donna is trying to clear the decks pushing out the Clintons while still maintaining her Dem creds so she can run Moochelle´s campaign.
Donna is an old school tough but good Democrat. I always enjoyed her candor and big personality. There are few left in the party like her. The party is terminal and she knows it. This is why she´s coming out with her book saying...Hey, I was there but I´m not one of them. Last night on Tucker, she said reiterated that she was from the old school of politics. No doubt, there´ll be a few more books written about the corruption in the party. Expect one from Doug Schoen.
“I knew that these three did not do this with malice. I knew if you woke any of them up in the middle of the night to ask them how they felt about the Democratic Party they would answer with sincerity that they loved this party and all it had done for the country and for them.
Things the Democratic Party has done for the country: - Social Security Bankruptcy Fund - Medicare Bankruptcy Fund - Fighting, then setting back American race relations 50 years. - Creating the Bureaucratic Kraken that inundates our lives. - Always blaming rather than taking responsibility. - Destroying the Constitution by paper cuts, incisions, and wild slashing. - Supporting the murder of the unborn. - Lack of support of a strong America - economically, militarily, and spiritually.
I´m sure there´s more, but that´s off the top of my head.
FTA: "As I saw it, these three titanic egos–Barack, Hillary, and Debbie–had stripped the party to a shell for their own purposes,” Brazile wrote. (snip) “I knew that these three did not do this with malice.”
I am always amazed at the ethical gymnastics of the Socialist Globalist Grifters. Obviously the powers that be (Soros et al) have decided its time to cut loose the burning hulls of the destroyer Soetoro, the Flying Monkeys aircraft carrier, and the Wash Water tanker. Bring on the fire bucket brigade! The wicked witch is dead!
Yet at the same time they tell the crews that none of it was done with malice, so it’s OK to still vote Democrat. What the Hillary?
As I understand it, Brazile mentions in her book that after the murder of Seth Rich she took extreme cautions to improve the security of her home and made sure the curtains were closed so that no sharpshooter or sniper could kill her too. Brazile is the ´insiders, insider´. She KNOWS the Dem party and the Clinton machine, top down. She has worked for the party ALL of her adult life. (About 40 years)
This is all GREAT stuff coming out, and if she survives it all, it might encourage other ´insiders´ to come forward (which has NEVER happened like THIS before). Which may eventually make it silly for Congress to NOT start investigations into these lawless democrap power brokers, aka 0bama, Clinton and the like.
Maybe I´m jaded but from what I can tell she´s just a hack herself, trying to further her career with a fake "tell all" book. Her revelations are boring and incomplete. No real news is revealed, no red meat: no smoking guns; no names; no buried bodies, figurative or real. After the book run she, no doubt, wants to run campaigns again. The Clintons are over and a new crop of people will make up the Democrat field who are younger and darker. She is jockeying into position and is jettisoning unnecessary baggage. Ever so gently.
I do NOT like Donna Brazile even though she is personally likeable. She is still a dyed-in-the-wool liberal/progressive/socialist/communist Democrat and her likeability just makes her all the more dangerous. Any rift in the modern Democrat Party is like the fight between Lenin and Trotsky - no matter who wins it is not good for liberty or America.
Brazile is trying to save the dem, -now socialist, party by exposing the truth about Mrs. slick & 0bama and, ´throw them under the bus.´ ...She and the party insiders must have someone else in mind to lead their party´s socialist agenda. Socialists have only one goal in mind and that is total power for their socialist fantasy.
I can´t believe my eyes. Is there something in the water? How can any poster on this site say that they like this creature??? She was a willing participant in giving slithery the questions to the debate. Believe me when I tell you that had cankles won this book would NEVER have been published and Brazile would be happily ensconced in a cushy job in the administration sucking the poor taxpayers dry. There is NOTHING to like about this "thing" called Brazile.
The intentions and integrity of a Democrat can only be trusted if and when they remove themselves from Organized Crime(D). Brazile has chosen to remain in Organized Crime(D) and therefore cannot be trusted.
If she was in fact serious, she would have reported top-tier Democrat crimes, especially those related to Enemedia collusion, to law enforcement. She has not done so.
Don´t think for one minute she is not thrashing Hillary or Obama! I rarely disagree with Rush, but I don´t know how she can be paving the way for Mooch by calling out Obama for his "titanic ego" that was only concerned with his legacy.
I think it reads (what we have seen) like a dedicated Democrat that used to have some clout with the Clintons and the Dem party, and she found out toot sweet she was to follow the bosses at the campaign (not Hillary, but her staff).
How she ends the book lets us know how she now feels about Hillary. Too bad she didn´t pay attention a few years ago. We could have told her how the Clinton´s use everyone as long as they serve a purpose. Once you don´t, they have no care or concern for you at all.
Patrisse Khan-Cullors and Asha Bandele, authors of the new book When They Call You a Terrorist: A Black Lives Matter Memoir, are self-described “prison abolitionists.” And they hope their book will inspire readers to consider a society where jails aren’t necessary. “I would like us to use our collective imagination to begin to imagine a world without prisons,” Bandele told Colorlines editorial director Akiba Solomon earlier this week during a conversation hosted by The Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture and The Strand Bookstore. “There are places on this planet where prisons don’t exist. There are cities in India

The Dow jumped 322 points to a record-high 26,115, closing above 26,000 for the first time. The index first broke above the milestone mark Tuesday. The S&P 500 gained 0.95 percent, with staples and tech rising more than 1 percent. Bank of America reported adjusted quarterly earnings that surpassed analyst estimates.
Apple CEO Tim Cook opened up to ABC News after the company announced earlier today that it will be investing $350 billion in the U.S. economy over the next five years, creating more than 20,000 jobs. In a news release, the company also said it would make a $38 billion tax payment to the U.S. as required by recent changes to the tax law. Apple said this would be the largest tax payment of its kind. While Cook would not "take a position" on how the new tax plan is affecting individuals´ taxes, he said $38 billion tax payment would
"Morning Joe" co-host Joe Scarborough questioned President Trump´s weight on a White House physician report, stating if "that´s what 6-3, 239 pounds looks like, that´s a shock to me." The commentary comes one day after Rear Adm. Dr. Ronny Jackson concluded the president was in "excellent health" while also sharing that Trump tallied a perfect score on a cognitive test requested by the president. (Snip) The "Morning Joe" hosts have repeatedly called the president´s mental state into question on the program dating back to May, with Scarborough stating that Trump has "early-onset dementia." "We have a president who, Mika and
Senate Democratic Leader Charles Schumer’s (N.Y.) efforts to unify Democrats and prevent a shutdown are complicated by lawmakers with presidential hopes who are pushing for a hard-line stance against any short-term spending measure that doesn’t protect certain young immigrants from deportation. Senate Democrats such as Cory Booker of New Jersey, Kirsten Gillibrand of New York and Kamala Harris of California have signaled they will not support a short-term spending bill that leaves the fate of these immigrants, often called Dreamers, up in the air. All three potential presidential candidates, along with two others, Sens. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) and Bernie Sanders
MOSCOW — Even thermometers can´t keep up with the plunging temperatures in Russia´s remote Yakutia region, which hit minus 67 degrees Celsius (minus 88.6 degrees Fahrenheit) in some areas Tuesday. In Yakutia — a region of 1 million people about 3,300 miles (5,300 kilometers) east of Moscow — students routinely go to school even in minus 40 degrees. But school was canceled Tuesday throughout the region and police ordered parents to keep their children inside. In the village of Oymyakon, one of the coldest inhabited places on earth, state-owned Russian television showed the mercury falling to the bottom of a
This therapy session between NBA officials and players at All-Star weekend can’t come soon enough. As USA TODAY Sports reported last week, the sustained tension between the league’s referees and so many of its players has become such a concern that they will have a meeting in Los Angeles next month. Saturday night brought more flare-ups, as the Toronto Raptors were incensed at late calls in their loss against the Golden State Warriors. Raptors star DeMar DeRozan said it felt like they were playing “five on eight,” a comment that will likely bring a fine from the league. The Dallas Mavericks’
ATLANTA — They had gathered to commemorate Martin Luther King Jr., but many of those who delivered speeches on the national holiday created to honor the slain civil rights leaders focused their remarks on another man: President Donald Trump. (Snip) Trump has denied saying "anything derogatory" about Haitians, and said he did not use the vulgar language that has been reported. And his weekly address to the nation, released Monday, was dedicated to King. "Dr. King´s dream is our dream, it is the American dream, it´s the promise stitched into the fabric of our nation, etched into the hearts of
A statue paid for with pennies contributed by Baltimore school children more than a century ago was found sprayed with red paint Monday morning. Jennifer Arndt Robinson, executive director of Friends of Patterson Park, said the bronze statue of children holding a scroll to commemorate the writing of the Star Spangled Banner had been damaged by paint. The words “Racist Anthem” were sprayed on a sidewalk near the statue. “We were notified early this morning of the incident,” Robinson said. “We are working with appropriate city officials to make sure it is addressed as quickly as possible.” Robinson said a
What could seem better than getting David Letterman and President Barack Obama together again and sitting them down in front of an audience to talk for an hour about whatever´s been on their minds since they both left their old jobs? What better fantasy come true for anyone who misses both men terribly? Unfortunately, Letterman´s new show for Netflix, a six-episode series called My Next Guest Needs No Introduction, fails to deliver on its promise, falling flat in its debut. Letterman, who retired so elegantly in 2015, seems only half-engaged here and far too much in the thrall of his
If you want to drive through the small residential streets of Leonia, N.J., you´ll have to move there. Starting Jan. 22, the town will ban all non-residents from driving on 60 of its streets during the morning and evening rush hours. The new rules aim to crack down on urban-dwellers who take shortcuts through the town while following instructions from navigation apps like Waze, Google Maps or Apple — a phenomenon Mayor Judah Zeigler says is causing gridlock, costing money and putting people in danger. "What´s happening with the adoption of Waze and Google Maps and other navigational apps is these
TRENTON, N.J. — Days before his inauguration as New Jersey’s 56th governor, Phil Murphy had Hollywood on his mind. The 60-year old Democrat had just read a headline about reshoots on “All the Money in the World,” which had been done in a hurry to remove disgraced actor Kevin Spacey from the movie. (Snip) Murphy is ready to end his obscurity. On Tuesday, when he is sworn in, New Jersey will become one of just eight states where Democrats run every branch of government. If Murphy has his way, New Jersey will become a proving ground for every liberal policy
A review of a classified document outlining what is described as extensive Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act abuse was made available to all House members Thursday and the revelations could lead to the removal of senior officials in the FBI and Department of Justice, several sources with knowledge of the document stated. These sources say the report is “explosive,” stating they would not be surprised if it leads to the end of Robert Mueller’s Special Counsel investigation into President Trump and his associates. The House Intelligence Committee passed the motion along party lines Thursday to make the classified report alleging extensive
After leaving office, President Ronald Reagan created the Ronald Reagan Freedom Award to recognize individuals who have fought to spread liberty worldwide. Nancy Reagan continued the tradition after her husband’s death, and in 2008 she bestowed the honor on human rights icon Natan Sharansky, who credited Reagan’s strong defense of freedom for his own survival in Soviet gulags. Reagan recognized that as leader of the free world, his words carried enormous weight, and he used it to inspire the unprecedented spread of democracy around the world. President Donald Trump does not seem to understand that his rhetoric and actions reverberate in
Pope Francis has conferred the title of “Commander of the Pontifical Equestrian Order of St. Gregory the Great” on Lilianne Ploumen, a Dutch politician and vocal agitator for abortion rights. Last year, Ploumen founded a pro-abortion organization called She Decides, which offers funding and support for international NGOs that provide, facilitate or campaign for abortion. In an email to the Catholic Herald, Ms. Ploumen said that she was “very honoured” by the pontifical medal, which was sent via the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs last month. In an interview with Dutch radio, Ploumen said she views the honor as a
Obama’s current office, which is run by former de facto President Valerie Jarrett, is just a mile or so from the White House. It is at that location one sees a daily procession of donors, political operatives, party affiliates (BOTH Democrat and Republican) media friends (of which there are many) and more shadowy figures representing a myriad of foreign interests. And each day this office and its two primary inhabitants – Obama and Jarrett, are asked the same question: WHAT ARE WE GOING TO DO ABOUT TRUMP? Obama being Obama, with his solar-system-sized ego intact, has been promising to do
The House Intel panel’s passage of New York Republican Rep. Peter King’s motion to release the FISA abuse memo to fellow House members has rocked Washington, D.C. (Photo) Lawmakers from Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) to Rep. Lee Zeldin (R-NY) have called for the classified memo’s immediate release. According to Fox News contributor Sara Carter, the contents of the memo are so “explosive,” that it could end special counsel Robert Mueller’s Russia probe once and for all.Former Secret Service agent Dan Bongino warned the release of the FISA report will destroy the image of his former boss Barack Obama.“Take it to
California lawmakers are targeting the expected windfall companies in the state would see under the federal tax overhaul with a bill that would require businesses to turn over half to the state. A proposed Assembly Constitutional Amendment by Assemblymen Kevin McCarty, D -Sacramento and Phil Ting, D-San Francisco, would create a tax surcharge on California companies making more than $1 million so that half of their federal tax cut would instead go to programs that benefit low-income and middle class families.
Former FBI director James B. Comey is joining the faculty of his alma mater, the College of William & Mary, and plans to teach a course on ethical leadership at the school’s Washington center starting in the fall. Comey, whom President Trump fired last year, will have a nontenured position as an executive professor in education, the school announced Friday. His course will be offered through the W&M Washington Center to students of the public college based in Williamsburg, Va. Comey will teach the course in fall 2018, spring 2019 and summer 2019 with executive assistant professor Drew Stelljes.
During his town hall tour across Canada, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has given explicit notice to pro-life Canadians that their beliefs on abortion make them second-class citizens. (Snip) According to the article, Trudeau warned that "an organization that has the explicit purpose of restricting women´s rights by removing rights to abortion, the right for women to control their own bodies, is not in line with where we are as a government and quite frankly where we are as a society." According to Trudeau, his tongue-lashing of pro-life groups was prompted by responses to a change to who can receive grants as
Far from content living his golden years on the $400,000 speech and lecture circuit of other former presidents, President Obama has been busy with clawing back for his old power. He´s actually covertly plotting to oust his democratically elected successor, President Trump, vowing to his associates to "rip him a new one," in the 2018 midterm elections. Seems he´s not all that interested in watching his youngest daughter grow up. That´s the word from DCWhispers, which reports that Obama´s Kalorama mansion, in the heart of the capital´s most tony district, is the center of significant comings and goings among the Obamatons,
Microwaves are as damaging to the environment as cars and users must be taught how to cook more efficiently, scientists say. The ovens are responsible for 7.7 million tons of the carbon dioxide pumped out from the EU each year — the equivalent of 6.8 million cars. Researchers say they are fueling global warming with consumers overcooking food to blame. Microwaves account for the largest percentage of sales of all types of oven in the EU, with numbers set to reach 135 million by 2020. But scientists at the University of Manchester — the first to assess the environmental impact
Sara Carter reports on a classified document that was released to all members of the House today. The document seems to be a compilation of information, prepared by House intelligence committee staff, relating to the anti-Trump dossier, the FBI, the warrant to conduct surveillance on members of the Trump campaign, and the use of that warrant. Carter calls the document a bombshell. Her sources say its revelations might lead to the removal of senior officials in the FBI and Department of Justice, and perhaps even the criminal prosecution of some. They also say, less plausibly, that the revelations could lead to
In an exclusive interview with Utah Gov. Gary Herbert, FOX Business was told that Romney, the 2012 Republican presidential nominee, will likely receive the backing of mega-donors, not just within Utah, but across the country as he gets ready to announce his candidacy. “He’s given me every indication that he’s running. He’ll have a lot of support from the wealthy people that he knows from when he ran for president. The people on the same list of donors that he had before for 2012, including those from Utah, is a very good place for him to raise money,” Herbert, a
