Washington Post Editor: ‘We are Not

WASHINGTON – Washington Post Executive Editor Marty Baron said President Trump declared war on the press but the media is not at war with him, despite the “hostile” environment that’s been created. “The president on his first day in office went to the CIA headquarters and he said, I have a war with the press. The reality is we don’t have a war with him: we are not at war, we are at work. We are doing our jobs every day the same way we have always done it. You talk about fact-checking; we’ve had a fact-checker at the Washington

Probably the biggest scandal in US history(Uranium One)sitting right in front of these drooling idiots and they are still barking up the Trump tree.

And they wonder why their influence is getting smaller and smaller.

BS like this just puts my blood pressure through the roof.

"...We are doing our jobs every day the same way we have always done it."

Uh huh. Then how do you explain eight years of voluntary Disability during the Obama administration?

"He has dramatically changed the culture of Washington..." Guess what, Mr. Baron - that´s one of the reasons we elected him!

And then we have the old canard about journalists having it in their hearts to "make the world a better place." Translation: work to defeat every Republican and further the leftist agenda.

The only thing that brings my B/P down is the realization that it is not 1973 anymore and that at least half the country is on to Marty Baron and his ilk.

When the media dwells on one peripheral issue until they pound it into the ground, while neglecting to investigate national issues vital to the entire country, they are not fulfilling their First Amendment duty entrusted to the press to keep the public informed. And when their political bias is obviously the reason for their neglect as it is now for the radical lefties in the dem party, the media becomes odious and worthless, ...except for encouraging the disrespectful chaos we now are subjected to.

The current emptying stadiums, the shunning of PC movies and their own tanking subscriptions make crystal clear the publics´ response to PC & media bias. PC dem pols are also being rejected at the ballot box. ...They are ignoring the reality of their rejection by the public for their overbearing PC socialist policy demands.

The work of journalists used to be presenting FACTS in an impartial, objective fashion so their readers had information on which to form their own beliefs and conclusions.

The Washington Post appears to believe that their "work" is to spew propaganda and promote their agenda to CREATE news rather than REPORTING news. This perspective is very similar to that of totalitarian government-controlled media and is an affront to American readers and to the First Amendment.

It is no wonder that newspapers such as the Washington Post are a dying breed being abandoned by former readers.

BONN, Germany — As the first glimmer of dawn appeared across the Rhine River, delegates stumbled out of an all-night negotiating session at this year’s global climate talks, expressing satisfaction Saturday at the progress made toward creating a comprehensive rule book for fighting global warming. The two-week meeting in Bonn, Germany, was billed as a "blue-collar" event designed to hammer out the technical details of the 2015 Paris climate accord. But fears had loomed beforehand that the administration of President Donald Trump, who rejects the Paris agreement, would seek to block any advances seen as counter to American interests. Democrats certainly don’t appear to have an issue with using fear to fundraise. A Senate Majority PAC mailer with an enclosed letter from Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer tied together the Kremlin and neo-Nazis with corporate tax cuts. “This Must Stop,” the mailer says above the words, “Corporate Tax Cuts. Discrimination. Kremlin. Medicaid Cuts. Bribes. Repealing Health Care. Neo-Nazis.” The previously unreported letter was obtained by TheDC on Friday. Schumer claimed in it that Trump is turning his back on America in order to help Russia and “billionaire backers.” “Well, the president wasn’t elected to represent Moscow; he was elected to represent the
