TORONTO — Former hostage Joshua Boyle says the Haqqani network in Afghanistan killed his infant daughter and raped his American wife during the five years they were held in captivity. Boyle gave the statement shortly after landing in Canada late Friday with his wife, Caitlan Coleman, and three young children. The couple was rescued Wednesday, five years after they had been abducted by the Taliban-linked extremist network while in Afghanistan as part of a backpacking trip. Coleman was pregnant at the time and had four children in captivity. The birth of the fourth child had not been publicly known before
Comments: Caitlin Coleman previously reported that her children had seen her "defiled". Three children were conceived in captivity, so what are the odds that some of them may not be her husband´s?
FTA...´“It will be of incredible importance to my family that we are able to build a secure sanctuary for our three surviving children to call a home,” he said in his later statement at the airport. And this moron took his pregnant wife on a trek in war-torn Afghanistan but refused to get on a U.S. jet because he doesn´t trust the U.S. government. Where are you going to find that ´secure sanctuary´? North Korea? This man is a zealot.
Liberalism is a fatal mental disorder. If you back pack in Afghanistan, you have a death wish. If you do so while pregnant, you have a death wish for yourself and your baby. A US free lance journalist decided he loved Arab culture, loved the people, went to Syria planning to write a major article about how great everyone was, sell the story and get his career going. He was captured by Islamic terrorists and tortured for 2 years. (My Captivity, NY Times Mag, 2/29/2014) At one point he frantically sought the Free Syrian Army (FSA) believing they were good guys (as has often been said in the media) but they turned out to be Al Qaeda, and tortured him as well.
I would not be seen in that part of the world unless I was part of a well-armed US Military unit with orders to finish the job by any means necessary. This hostage, along with the four clowns who went hiking in Iran need to be beaten with a 2x4 no matter how much they were tortured.
The guy has strong terrorist ties that go back to well before he went to meet his fellow terrorists. He very likely went due to his ex wife´s relative getting captured and sent to Guantanamo. He likely feared that he had been outed and need to get out of Dodge quick. That is why he won´t get on a US plane. He knows there are good reasons for us to arrest him if we get our hands on him. Prisoners of the Taliban don´t get to live with their wife and raise a family. He is one of them, now he is back with a cover story to shield him from suspicion, at least as far as the Canadians go.
Why not ask this Canadian pig of a husband why he took his wife into Afghanistan??? If she was ´defiled´ so many times why did he continue having children with her? This creep ought to be in prison for what he did! Something about this whole story smells to high heaven!
The lack of compassion for people who have suffered a horrible ordeal shocks me - I hope they find a nice place far from prying eyes to live out their days - perhaps their next area to aid needy populations can be in the Yukon
Compassion is an odd thing- it is usually reserved for the innocent and often it is badly misplaced when it is heaped on people so stupid they do things like this. My compassion is reserved for the children of this man- and perhaps his wife. Why did she think this was a good idea and went along with it? Was she browbeaten into the plan? Did she go along willingly? Was she fed a line of BS and tricked into it? Regardless, taking a pregnant wife and three innocent little kids into a Hell hole like Afghanistan is just about as irresponsible as it gets. He would have been more protective of his family if he had just sealed them and himself in a barrel and gone over Niagara Falls.
St. Catherine University (a/k/a St. Kate’s, formerly St. Catherine College) sits on a leafy 110-acre campus in the Highland Park neighborhood of St. Paul. It is located a few blocks down the street from my high school alma mater and within shouting distance of Macalester College as well as St. Thomas University. A “Minnesota woman” went on an arson rampage at St. Kate’s this past Wednesday. Truza Jamal Hassan — a 19-year-old former student — set eight fires in seven building across the campus. All but one of the fires were set in trash cans inside bathrooms. Hassan kindly explained
About two dozen NYPD offficers and investigators from the Manhattan district attorney’s office raided the offices of Newsweek and its parent company, IBT Media, on Thursday. IBT Media was co-founded by Jonathan Davis and Etienne Uzac. The IRS placed a $1.2 million federal tax lien against Uzac in December 2017. The agents were said to be photographing servers in the offices, but not downloading any files at the offices on 7 Hanover Square, according to sources. They appeared to be photographing the serial numbers on the machines, said a source. In the past, IBT has been linked to a Christian
Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen confirmed Tuesday that her department has asked federal prosecutors to see if they can lodge criminal charges against sanctuary cities that refuse to cooperate with federal deportation efforts. “The Department of Justice is reviewing what avenues may be available,” Ms. Nielsen told the Senate Judiciary Committee. Her confirmation came after California’s new sanctuary law went into effect Jan. 1, severely restricting cooperation the state or any of its localities could offer. U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement Director Tom Homan says those policies put his officers and local communities at more risk because they have to
A senior AIDS official at the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) has been arrested in a sting where he thought he was going to be engaging in "water sports" (that didn´t involve water) with a young boy. In reality, he was talking to the police. A director within the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services is accused of asking a person, who he thought to be a 15-year-old boy, to perform a variety of sex [sic] acts including urination. On Thursday, Michael Goldrosen, 56, of Silver Spring, was formally indicted in Montgomery County Circuit Court on one
Ohio State Treasurer Josh Mandel announced on Friday that he will dissolve his campaign to challenge incumbent Sen. Sherrod Brown (D-OH) due to a family medical issue. Mandel said on Friday, We recently learned that my wife has a health issue that will require my time, attention and presence. In other words, I need to be there. Understanding and dealing with this health issue is more important to me than any political campaign. For as long as that takes, whether it is months or years, it is important that I heed my dad’s advice and be there for my wife
O’boy, things are fun now. We’ve gone from a small peep hole in the rat-filled barn wall letting in the sunlight, to rapid cannon-fire knocking holes the size of bowling balls. Whoo doggies… look at em’ scatter. A few days ago CTH advised of a few good people to keep an eye on. Yes, there are a few people inside the Swamp with a laser painting the target. Ohio Representative Jim Jordan flying through the chaff and countermeasures while carrying a MOAB of truth. Head’s up, he’s quickly approaching the target: 1) Did the FBI pay Christopher Steele, author of
Former US president Barack Obama chose not to support the 2009 Iranian Green Protest Movement because he hoped to reach a deal with Iran on its nuclear weapons that he signed six years later, Deputy Minister Michael Oren (Kulanu) said on Monday. Obama’s failure to help Iranian protesters has been criticized since then by Israeli officials, led by Jewish Agency chairman and former Soviet dissident Natan Sharansky, who has called it the biggest failure to help human rights in modern history. Oren, who was the ambassador to the US at the time, said Obama initially claimed he would not support
On the fourth day of the nationwide uprising of the Iranian people, regime officials are acknowledging popular anger against and abhorrence of the regime and the uprising spreading across the country. The people are seeking regime change in Iran, and this has a major impact for the U.S.´s and the international community´s foreign policy in the Middle East and possibly beyond. Maryam Rajavi, the president-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), which is a major force behind the protests, released a statement in which she said, in part, "The ongoing protests in different cities against the regime
A huge explosion has rocked a busy supermarket in St Petersburg, leaving at least 10 people injured. The blast happened in the Perekrestok supermarket in the northeast of the cities, and shoppers fled in panic as emergency crews descended on the scene. One person is believed to be in a serious condition, while a further three were taken to hospital. Six more were treated at the scene. It is thought a bomb packed with shrapnel exploded in a storage locker, and authorities are treating the explosion as a deliberate attempt to kill. It comes days after a foiled terror plot
The Clintons and their associates, whether it´s Sandy Berger or Cheryl Mills, certainly have a gift for making paperwork disappear. Sandy Berger, Bill Clinton’s former National Security Adviser, stole classified documents about the terror failures of the Clinton administration, hid documents under a construction trailer, lied about taking them and destroyed some of them. Hillary Clinton confidants were part of an operation to “separate” damaging documents before they were turned over to the Accountability Review Board investigating security lapses surrounding the Sept. 11, 2012, terrorist attacks on the U.S. mission in Benghazi, Libya. According to former Deputy Assistant Secretary Raymond
Few societies have gone through as wrenching changes in behavior and social norms in the past forty years as America has. We can scarcely recognize the social mores and attitudes then from today’s perspective. But as L.P. Hartley put it: “The past is a foreign country. They do things differently there.” And if the changes over time are confusing enough, try understanding the regional variations. Moore was from Etowah County in northeast Alabama, on the southwestern edge of Appalachia. His lower class family lived way out of town and finally got indoor plumbing his last year of high school. Although
Let´s begin with some accusations. They are well founded and as credible as any against Roy Moore – perhaps more so. The FBI´s first director, J. Edgar Hoover, was reputed to have compiled incriminating dossiers on just about every top office-holder in Washington, D.C., up to and including the presidents, under several of whose tenures Hoover served. Whenever there was talk of firing him, Hoover reportedly met with the contemporary chief of state and persuaded him to retain him (Hoover) in his post. Regarding President Kennedy, there was surely a great deal in the dossier, especially as concerned his scandalous
1988 Democratic presidential nominee Michael Dukakis ripped President Trump´s new tax law and offered optimism for Democrats ahead of the midterm elections. Dukakis, a former governor of the Bay State during the so-called economic "Massachusetts Miracle," said Republicans have lost their way when it comes to supporting fiscal responsibility. He questioned why they would champion a tax plan that may have costly ramifications for the national deficit. (Snip) "We just passed a tax bill, which I think is a piece of garbage," Dukakis, who lost his presidential bid to then-Vice President George Bush, said. "Look at these companies, though, that are
The White House says it will not negotiate with the Democrats on immigration until the end of the federal government shutdown. White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders says in a statement that, “We will not negotiate the status of unlawful immigrants while Democrats hold our lawful citizens hostage over their reckless demands.” She adds, “When Democrats start paying our armed forces and first responders we will reopen negotiations on immigration reform.” The government shut down at midnight after Congress failed to pass a spending deal. Sanders says, “Senate Democrats own the Schumer Shutdown,” adding,
Senate Minority Leader Charles Schumer of New York pinned the government shutdown on President Donald Trump, saying it has become "next to impossible" to negotiate with the White House. In a press availability, Schumer said he and Trump have been close to a deal to fund the government at least once. But, he said the "hard right" in the Republican Party later convinces Trump not to strike a deal with him."[Trump] won´t take yes for an answer," Schumer said. (Tweet) Schumer said that he does not know whether Trump´s apparent waffling on a deal is the work of adviser Stephen Miller, a
It´s no secret that Mitt Romney is, in all likelihood, going to run for a Senate seat in Utah. What´s less clear, however, is why the man who was the 2012 Republican presidential nominee and is now retired and occupying an elder-statesman role in a party torn into warring factions would want to serve as a junior senator. Once elected, Romney would find himself embroiled in day-to-day congressional fights and less free to voice his criticisms of the White House, while losing some of the deference he´s been shown by members of his own party. But listen to any number of Republicans and
Question: Do you think Donald Trump spends more time thinking about Hillary Clinton than Hillary Clinton spends thinking about Donald Trump? Sure does seem like it. The other day, President Trump was discussing Russia at a press conference with the prime minister of Norway, when he suddenly announced that Clinton “was not for a strong military and Hillary, my opponent, was for windmills, and she was for other types of energy that don’t have the same capacities at this moment certainly.” Yeah, it didn’t make any sense. But he really can’t seem to get past her. Recently while promoting tax
The Daily Caller journalist Chuck Ross has some extremely interesting information released today surrounding former top FBI Counterintelligence Agent Peter Strzok and DOJ/FBI liaison attorney Lisa Page which includes a disclosure by top FBI officials that text messages between Strzok and Page have gone missing. (Snip) According to information relayed to Senator Ron Johnson, the period of time the FBI has “lost” is from December 14th, 2016 to May 17th, 2017, the exact day that Special Counsel Robert Mueller was assigned to lead the Russia collusion probe. As CTH has previously outlined the same “small group” inside the DOJ and FBI,
Immigrants entering the United States illegally through the southern border are quietly being relocated to different parts of the country on commercial flights, high-ranking Homeland Security officials told Judicial Watch this week. In the last few days alone, groups of illegal aliens boarded planes at airports in Texas and Arizona accompanied by a taxpayer-funded government escort in civilian clothes to avoid drawing attention. The first flight originated at Valley International Airport in Harlingen, Texas and was bound for Minneapolis. (Snip) The illegal aliens wear red HHS wrist bands and receive “the gold glove treatment,” according to a veteran federal official,
According to Representative Dave Joyce (R-OH14) the House Intelligence Committee will hold a vote on the release of the four-page Nunes memo that reveals systemic corruption within the DOJ and FBI; including the unlawful use of FISA-702(16)(17) data searches which were part of an elaborate DOJ-FBI surveillance program on the political campaign of Donald Trump. (Tweet) Additionally, Chad Pergram reported that Chairman Devin Nunes met with Judiciary Chairman Bob Goodlatte to discuss the best process to release the memo. There are generally two ways it could be done, the HPSCI vote is the most likely. As more people have become aware
There’s a ghost haunting Elizabeth Warren as she ramps up for a possible 2020 presidential bid and a reelection campaign in Massachusetts this year: her enduring and undocumented claims of Native American ancestry. Warren says now, as she has from the first days of her public life, that she based her assertions on family lore, on her reasonable trust in what she was told about her ancestry as a child. “I know who I am,” she said in a recent interview with the Globe. But that self-awareness may not be enough, as her political ambitions blossom.
The burn continues. What follows are 138 years of scientific records tracing the human transformation of Earth’s climate. The bold pink line up top represents 2017, the third-hottest on record. The only years to exceed it—2015 and 2016—occurred amid a powerful El Nino weather pattern that ripped heat from the Pacific Ocean into the atmosphere. In the absence of El Nino, the swelter of 2017 was unprecedented.
Comic book readers are apparently not fans of progressive politics—a fact no more evident in Marvel’s decision to cancel every single one of its comics that has been nominated by the LGBTQ advocacy group, GLAAD. In December, the publisher announced its decision to cancel many of its comics, citing poor sales. LGBTQ, feminist, and social justice-themed comics involving stories that revolved around Black Lives Matter, illegal immigration, and LGBTQ issues were among those to end up on the chopping block.
Adam Schiff, reputedly a champion leaker from the House Intelligence Committee when it came to Russiagate material, suddenly thinks Ignorance is Bliss when it comes to the FISA warrant used to spy on the Trump campaign. Appearing on CNN, he tried to justify keep the 4 page memo that reportedly exposes the individuals who acted as part of a cabal to undermine the Trump campaign with help from NSA spying, and then pushed the “Russia collusion” conspiracy theory as part of the “insurance policy.” Americans are too ignorant, you see. Do you think Democrats are starting to panic? (Video) Rush
