The Harvey Weinstein scandal and
the silent left’s stunning hypocrisy

Fox News, by Stephen L. Miller

“Who is Harvey Weinstein?” is a perfectly acceptable question in light of a bombshell story The New York Times broke Thursday that reports decades of his alleged serial sexual harassment and settlements with women in Hollywood. Putting it bluntly, Harvey Weinstein, for a time, was the most powerful producer and studio head in Hollywood. He is almost singlehandedly responsible for the indie-to-mainstream film explosion in the 90’s (backing “Pulp Fiction,” “Good Will Hunting” and “Shakespeare in Love” to name just a few examples). His influence in Hollywood is unparalleled. But it’s his influence out of Hollywood that has parts of media

Ashley Judd does not deserve any credit for outing Harvey Pervert. Her encounter with him was 20 years ago and never came out until the NYT reported it. In her own words her biggest concern at the time was offending Harvey.

Ashley Judd let this crap go on for 20 years before speaking up. That is disgusting.

Here we have Judd proclaiming her feminist stance against Trump while wearing the stupid pink hat, MEANWHILE she looked the other way knowing full well that Weinstein was abusing young girls..... so much for standing up for females.

I loathe hypocrite liberals.

Woody Allen Warns of ‘Witch Hunt’

New York Times, by Andrew R. Chow    Original Article

In an interview with the BBC published early Sunday, the director Woody Allen addressed the wave of allegations against Harvey Weinstein, calling it “tragic for the poor women” but also warning against a “witch hunt atmosphere.” Those comments drew harsh criticism on social media, and on Sunday night Mr. Allen released a statement calling Mr. Weinstein “a sad, sick man.” Mr. Allen’s initial comments to the BBC were published on the heels of Mr. Weinstein’s expulsion from the Motion Picture Academy on Saturday. The director and producer worked together on several films in the 1990s, and Mr. Allen denied knowledge about any

A collective jaw dropped this week as Asia Argento, Gwyneth Paltrow, Angelina Jolie, Mira Sorvino, Rosanna Arquette and a host of other women joined Ashley Judd and Rose McGowan in speaking publicly about being harassed, mauled and even allegedly raped by Hollywood’s heavyweight gorilla, Harvey Weinstein. Media outlets ironically wrung their hands and asked in big, bold block letters: How could this have gone on for so long? If everyone knew, why didn’t anyone say anything? And the inevitable: What can be done? To answer these questions, let’s look beyond the Harvey-shaped elephant in the room. Behind the touted veneer of creative

Government lawyers asked a judge Friday to deny CNN´s request to force the FBI to publicly disclose former FBI Director James Comey´s memos documenting his interactions with President Trump about the Russia investigation. The news network made the case in a lawsuit filed with the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia in June that there was high public interest in Comey´s memos and that the notes were not classified, as insisted by Comey himself in testimony. CNN, along with other outlets and watchdog groups, had requested the memos under the Freedom of Information Act. However, a report from

That´s the message of a new article in The Daily Telegraph, entitled "When making a sandwich is a crime against feminism," about an Australian woman named Maddie who asked a Facebook group of 26,186 mothers whether anyone had some yummy alternatives for her husband´s lunches, which she said she makes for him every day. Now that´s what anyone I know would call a nice wife. But that´s not what Maddie was called on Facebook. Instead, she was told

Harvey Weinstein and Steve Bannon:
The Troubled Business Relationship Revealed

In the week since bombshell allegations against the film mogul Harvey Weinstein became public, the Breitbart website has been all over the scandal as an opportunity to showcase liberal hypocrisy in Hollywood. One thing missing from its coverage, though, is the role that its executive chairman Steve Bannon once played for Weinstein. In fact, their business relationship continues to have relevance not only because it shows how Bannon once profited off of Weinstein´s endeavors, but also because it´s the subject of an ongoing fraud lawsuit that will now have to be fought by a divided Weinstein clan. Harvey Weinstein’s alleged assault and harassment of the countless women who’ve now spoken out against him—not to mention the many others likely still preparing to come forward—was evil in a very specific, individual way. As co-founder of Miramax and The Weinstein Company, his apparent intimidation, coercion, and rape of actresses and employees were heinous offenses, and should be judged—by which I mean condemned—in their own right. He was, by all media accounts, a monster who used his power and influence to terrorize, all in order to satisfy his perverse sexual desires. His fall from grace is justly deserved. Nonetheless, his actions

TWC co-chairman Bob Weinstein and COO David Glasser are said to be advocating a batten-down-the-hatches strategy while the law firm hired to investigate the growing number of claims about Harvey Weinstein’s

Abbott. She went to Costa Rica, drank margaritas with her family, but she said the loss hurt. At the same time, she goes on about how 2014 was not really an indicator concerning whether Texas was trending blue, and she lamented on how her filibuster of a late-term abortion bill allowed Republicans to label her “abortion Barbie.”

Who’s next? Now that Harvey Weinstein’s reign of sexual terror is over, the answer is, hopefully, several of Hollywood’s most durable, liberal, ostensibly politically correct leading men. Until two days ago, Ben Affleck was mainly perceived as his own worst enemy. Then he issued a statement condemning Weinstein’s behavior. “I am saddened and angry that a man who I worked with used his position of power to intimidate, sexually harass and manipulate many women over decades,” Affleck wrote in part. “This is completely unacceptable, and I find myself asking what I can do to make sure this doesn’t happen to

Beneath Yellowstone National Park lies a supervolcano, a behemoth far more powerful than your average volcano. It has the ability to expel more than 1,000 cubic kilometers of rock and ash at once — 2,500 times more material than erupted from Mount St. Helens in 1980, which killed 57 people. That could blanket most of the United States in a thick layer of ash and even plunge the Earth into a volcanic winter. Yellowstone’s last supereruption occurred 631,000 years ago. And it’s not the planet’s only buried supervolcano. Scientists suspect that a supereruption scars the planet every 100,000 years, causing many

Multiple allegations of rape, sexual harassment and trading sex for movie roles have forced one of the most powerful men in show business out of his company and begging for help and forgiveness. But the ripples extending from the wake of Weinstein’s dramatic fall extend much further than his business and personal relationships and so far show no signs of abating. From the women he allegedly abused, to the associates who allegedly knew about his behavior all along but stayed silent, to the A-list actors and actresses who depend on him

Hillary Clinton slammed what she called "endemic" sexism and misogyny in America during an interview with Fareed Zakaria, which aired Sunday. Clinton, who was interviewed by Zakaria on his show, "GPS," said sexism was so inherent that she purposely hadn´t highlighted her career history of fighting for women´s rights when she ran for president in 2016. Over a dozen Democratic politicians have said they will give back or donate Weinstein’s campaign contributions to charity.
