Michelle Obama:
WH being led with fear

The Hill [Washington, DC], by Josh Delk

Michelle Obama said in a speech Thursday that the White House is currently being led by fear, comparing President Trump´s administration with her husband and former President Obama´s administration. (Snip) “It isn’t just us first,” she said, referring to Trump´s "America first" policies. “We live in a big country and a big world," she said. "You can’t just want to help someone in a hurricane and not make sure they can go to the doctor when they’re sick.” Trump reiterated his "America first" doctrine in a speech to the United Nations General Assembly this week, emphasizing that America would put

Comments:
I didn´t need to be reminded how much I detest that woman. Of course she and her corrupt, criminal husband didn´t ever put America first. She and her husband just need to SHUT UP and behave with decorum like those of past presidents. Absolutely none of her bilge supports the assertion that we are being ´led with fear.´ In the article an audience member asked if she was going to run in 2020. Now that could be even a more horrific nightmare than Hillary Clinton.

The decision by the NFL Compensation Committee on Wednesday to give Commissioner Roger Goodell a five-year contract extension that could top out at nearly $40 million a year is pure craziness. NFL owners are watching their brand implode and TV ratings for games plummet under a reckless commissioner – and they fail to see that Goodell is running the wrong game plan. Giving Goodell a huge compensation package like this – 90 percent of it tied to incentives – is like giving Hillary Clinton an award for outstanding email practices and honesty. If the media are defining “collusion” as President Trump’s team being willing to accept potentially beneficial information from Russia in the 2016 election, all future cable news analysis on the issue should include a disclaimer: Hillary Clinton’s campaign did precisely the same thing and more! There is no real consensus about what any collusion between Trump’s campaign and Russia would have entailed (which is helpful for Democrats and self-interest-driven Republicans like Sen. Jeff Flake, R-Ariz., in maintaining a scandalous fog over the White House) but news reports typically discuss it with ominous references to campaign advisers and aides who had any

The FBI has put to bed a controversy whipped up by liberal critics of Attorney General Jeff Sessions over his contacts with foreign officials including Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak during the 2016 presidential campaign. An FBI email released through the Freedom of Information Act said that Sessions had no obligation to reveal any contacts with foreign officials unless he “developed personal relationships” with them. Short of impeaching President Trump, does anything excite Democrats, the Resistance, and NeverTrumpers like the prospect of the president firing special counsel Robert Mueller? Firing Mueller would, or course, be the quickest way for Trump to get impeached, which might explain a certain air of anticipation in discussions of whether — some prefer to say when -- Trump will sack the prosecutor leading the Trump-Russia investigation. There has been a lot of news and commentary recently interpreting criticism of Mueller by a number of pro-Trump media voices as an effort to encourage Trump to fire Mueller, or lay the groundwork for

California Gov. Jerry Brown (D) says President Trump´s stance on climate change demonstrates that he does not appear to fear the "wrath of God" or have any regard for the "existential consequences" of his climate change policies. “I don’t think President Trump has a fear of the Lord, the fear of the wrath of God, which leads one to more humility ... this is such a reckless disregard for the truth and for the existential consequences that can be unleashed,” Brown said in an interview on CBS´s "60 Minutes," which is set to air on Sunday. Loose dentures? More like loose screws. Donald Trump was slurring his words pretty good last week for a guy who fancied himself an expert when it came to Hillary Clinton’s alleged brain damage. What would he make of his own slurred speech and bizarre behavior? brain tumor from the weight of that massive combover sitting on top of his head like a live farm animal? Simply slurred speech because his thoughts are so fantastic that his mouth can’t keep up?
